Back at Chinatown…
Anxiety, panic and even worse regret, she cool feel everything trickling down her soul as she recapped the event that had happened for the last week's, she cool feel every bit of it hitting back at her in the most tremendous way ,for some reason it left a bitter feeling—
A numbness that nothing else could feel than his masculine presence, the thought of being alone, all of this left behind a totally different feeling that nothing else could penetrate.
Instead of the prickling feeling her body focused on the primal aspect that she had been scared and traumatized by the event.
When she had asked him to leave, she didn't think he would take it that far. With a concerned look on her face she made way to the patio staring out at the sunset that was setting beautifully.
She thought about his words again, when she recalled the entire situation that had led to everything that happened, it was obvious she was more wrong than right.
Perhaps, she had overreacted by asking that he stop meddling in her affairs, at the moment all she felt was nothing but silence.
The absence of Brock and Logan turned out to be more traumatic than she had thought it would be, In fact the quiet seemed to eat at her enough that her heart skipped with excitement the moment she got a call from him.
She mustered every bit of Womanly ego she could to answer the call as she wouldn't want to give him the impression that she had been worried about him.
"Thought you were never going to call. " She muttered.
"Well I am doing that right now, ain't I … The last time we spoke you mentioned not wanting to speak to me ever again. "
She shakes her head. If there was anyone that could be more arrogant it was definitely this man , but in a funny way she appeared to find this one thing attractive about him .
"How is your trip?" In an attempt to change the topic she mutters.
As she spoke she toyed with the on the table, she could listen to the silence from his other end and reluctantly, she asked the question that had been troubling her mind ever since the evening he left.
"Are you fine?"
There is no perfect way she would have wanted the question to be translated to him as her words had every hint of fear and concern in it.
He sighed deeply, the gasp that escaped from him was a practical significance of the fear weighing heavily in his mind.
"They are here."
It was all he said but she understood what he was trying to pass across.
"Where are you at the moment?" She inquired.
It didn't feel like the right questions soothing the moment but still it left every hint of her feelings.
" I feel the right thing at this moment is trying to help me out of here. I'd tell you about this later. "
She sighed. Confused of what to do, she tapped her pen against the table for what looked like a while.
"You do know that there is no way I can help you without knowing where you are."she grimaced. " Just make it easier. "
There was a long pause almost as though he was considering what she just said. When he did speak again it started with a sigh.
"What do you need?"
"I just need to know where you are, that is all "
" Well if you must know, I am in Hawaii. "
" You traveled that far to get away from me? "
She backed away till she was sitting down at her desk. She sighs, her dark brown eyes weary. “I would be able to send something, but it might take a while. "
" How long? "
" To be honest, it was pointless for you to go.” she paused. " I was just joking about the entire situation."
She remains silent, stunned at words or should he say a lie.
“No one is ever ready for the truth, I do understand that you were trying to protect yourself, but I needed this trip as well. ” he says softly, a hint of remorse in his voice.
The chip on her shoulder from guilt falls off literally, she felt calmer. "Would speak to Wade."
"Don't. " He muttered in a warning tone.
"This won’t resolve anything, you need his help, why not just admit it."
Her words catch him off guard and pull at something ugly in his chest.
The absolute nerve.
He was not sure who to be angrier at—The fact that he was left with no choice or the fact that she was so transparent.
“If I agree to having you tell him, then that doesn't mean it is accepting him right? "
She could hear a can result from the other end that looked like he was standing up. “When I get back to you all we need is your exact location we would deal with Wade issues later. "

He stopped pacing and thought of what she said, it had been two days since he had come across Chanel and it looked like she had more on her sleeves than she had initially thought.
He shakes his head listening to her last words and feeling fragged by them. “I don’t doubt what you do if I don't accept your terms so I'd say yes. "
"lt would be too great to let him help you, I’m worried about you. It’s easy to become too emotionally involved or attached when you lose people close to you. "
He scoffs at her words, though it was fascinating to see that he cared the fact that
she would be less than professional and filled him with so much comfort.
"Fine then I'd send it to him ."
“I leave you to that', I’ll see you in a few days.”
As he dropped the call he heard her sigh, he stood there in the room staring around at the ruins that were everywhere.
It looked like they'd been looking for something, but what was it?
And why pick his room?
On the wall the sign of two swords clashing was painted in dripping red , Logan takes pictures.

He walked afterwards, moving gently down the steps one at a time. At the moment he considered telling the word he just heard to her but didn't, at least not till he had his facts right. But if there was anything he would let himself believe, it was the fact that he found the mole and Brock of blessed memories was right after all. After what seemed like a moment later, Logan appeared, his thick hair mussed from the number of times he ran his fingers through them , he had a broody expression even bloodier than usual. As he walked away donning nothing but a sleeveless shirt, running shorts, and shoes with a gun strapped to his thigh. He stepped out to the gentle rays of the sunlight with nothing but his shoes with its lacing tagging along as he walked past the guard manning the door."Tell her that I went for a run if she asks." He had barely said the words when he saw her yawning as she made way down the step with running shoes as well.Apparently, It was Logan first time he was seeing this

He turned and saw Wade stroll into the room, his gun still steaming, a dog wailing in the distance. Confused, Logan tried to process what just happened. Two other men from the Mafia rushed in as Logan fixed Wade with the most absurd gaze."You scum —"His hands curled around his collar as he shoved him against the wall, the room echoed with their heart beating heavily from agitation. "What did you do that for?" He questioned. "Were you blind to see that I was questioning him?""But …But, you were under duress, it is just normal I shoot. " Of all things that could be blamed it was surprising that he chose to do it in the most disgusting way and blame mere instincts. He was enraged, Wade's face turned red as he gasped for air, the other two men watched with eyes widened, the shock glistering in their eyes.He loosened his hands and Wade fell to the ground with a thug gasping for air. "Take care of the body." He picked up his bag. "He is yours now." ******Home, sweet home that should have been

He changed rooms, the picture was probing his heart and he felt worried . He looked at the sign again, already he had sent a picture of what it looked like to Joanne, a message notification beeped in and he stared at her message.Joanne : We need to get you away as fast as possible.Logan: You are still refusing to tell me what this sign is for.Three dots popped up to show that she was typing as he awaited her reply, he drew the blinds aside and stared out at the cold night.Outside the night at the beach side was dark enough that he couldn't make out anything. His phone buzzed.Joanne: Stay indoors , they are around!Logan: Thanks! He dropped the phone and pulled out his gun. He dropped the bag he had traveled with and emptied the content on the bed—His passport and several other things, fell right to the bed. He picked it up and checked under the mattress for a stash of cash he had left there earlier, he groaned to himself when he saw it empty. If anything was obvious that night, i

He had come half way across the world to stay away from trouble and just when he was starting to have that bit of peace again in his mind he bumps into another. He locked gaze with the woman that had been the architect of this all— Chanel.Chanel, dressed in a sundress, looked straight at him, locking her gaze; he looked different from the last time they had seen each other. In a way she didn't know what she was expecting but definitely not the man standing there In front of her looking as though he might rip her heart off anytime."What are you doing here?" She asked. He seemed provoked by her answers. "I shook be asking you that."If there was anything he shouldn't be doing at that moment, it should be interacting with this woman. Logan pulls the brown bag over the man’s head, a hem of the cloth bag catching in the man’s ear. Logan grunts and lifts the bag forcefully, ignoring the man’s cry in protest as the piece drags on his big ear. The man wails louder which only serves to annoy Logan even more he drags the bag so hard he is sure there will be a bruise the next day as proof of this moment.“I advise you to stop producing whatever sound it is you’re making right now if you like that particular part of his.” He orders, pinning a glare on the screaming banshee. What an excuse for a man.The crying immediately stops and Logan nods, “Now you have two options since I’m feeling quite generous tonight.” He begins but his smile is anything but generous, it’s a cross between a sinister smile and a glare. The man shifts in his seat despite the ropes binding him tightly to the chair.“You could either talk and I make it quick or…” He drawls, picking up a knife from the collection of sharps on a stool behind him. “You ke
