"Meralda." He muttered, a lush wave of surprise hinted by his voice. He did not even think twice before rushing to her, instantly kissing her. Mouths locked, tongues twisting and curling, they both exchanged nothing but pure passion and love. He finally broke away from the kiss and asked. "But how?" She ignored him, taking off her robe in a flash. He knew what this was an indication for and pulled her closer, locking his mouth with hers again. His hands roamed her back, exploring slowly from her nape, to her hip. He slowly retracted his right hand, grabbing her by the throat. He let his hand roam downwards and his mouth changed course. He nibbled at her ears, evoking a short moan from her. She found herself digging through his leather top, tearing through the seams attaching it together. In an instance, she pulled the cloth off his body, leaving his bare bust to rub with hers. She rubbed his back as he traced his wet lips down her neck to her collarbone. Her brassiere, silk and sof
Oh Right, The Queen.
"No. It can't be." Historia spoke, her eyes widened. Before her was the sister she thought was dead all along.…Meralda. "Meralda." She spoke softly, tears swelling in her eyes. The latter hissed, giving a scornful look. "Sister. You are alive." She added. Meralda frowned. The same lady who had killed her was acting like she missed her. It seemed absurd, yet revenge clouded her mind. "Shut the hell up. You betrayed me." She yelled, pointing at her. Historia's countenance changed from joy to surprise, wondering what her beloved sister was talking about. "Kill you?" She finally found herself asking. "How dare you feign ignorance after betraying me?" She asked, grabbing her by the throat and raising her against the wall. Historia's eyes widened as she choked, the grip firm on her neck. "Did you decide to forget? After all, you're quite the good girl, all you did was a little bad deed your good deeds would overshadow." She taunted the latter then dropped her. "I
Now you Die
Zeddicus stabbed his sword at Dana who immediately ducked under. She sprang back only to have her Katana clashing against his sword. He was fast, faster than she had assumed. She made to kick his knee, a move he already read. He took a step backward and attempted to strike her attacking leg. She instantly turned, hitting his face with the hilt of her Katana. She rushed another blow at him which he dodged and a soul eater rushed towards her. She ducked and attached the magnetic particle to her blade, striking it on its second attempt at her. She was so distracted that she did not see him attack her with a punch to the base of her skull, knocking her down. She felt lightheaded and could not move much in that instant. As he made to strike her, an arrow suddenly hit his glove protected hand, causing him to lose the grip on his sword. "You don't get to kill Dana. We get to." Eden spoke, accompanied by his brother who rushed at Zeddicus. He spat on the floor, commanding a few more soul e
All in
"Spread out." David instructed, they all complied as waves of dark matter spread across the cave. The shrieks of the soul eaters filling their ears. Meralda charged at the witch, punching her fist at it. It dodged, hurling another wave of dark matter at her which she blocked, arms crossed. "You are quite feisty." It mocked, blasting her with a force that threw her a few metres backwards. "Are you alright?" Historia asked, helping her up. "I'm fine, sister. Stay behind me." She responded, blocking her from the attack of a soul eater. The spirit was fast approaching and it tackled her, scratching at her with it's claws. She punched it off her and retreated to her sister's side. "It's too fast." She spoke. "I propose retreat." Historia suggested. She looked at the heroes who fought valiantly against the Dragon. David was on top of it, striking with his sword. It raised its head against the ceiling and he jumped off, avoiding being crushed into nothing. "Aim for the joints." Eden
We have to do what we have to do
"Tell me why, ain't nothing but a heartache. Tell me why, ain't nothing but a mistake." David flung his eyelids open and hurriedly stood up. Somehow, he relaxed, the lyrics of Backstreet boys 'Tell me why' resounding in his bedroom. He looked at the window which deflected a strong ray of Sunlight near his headstand and walked towards it. He felt confused as he opened it and looked outside. The estate looked exactly as it was twelve years ago. The birds chirping happily on the Almond tree his mother had planted in the nearby garden for shelter. His butler…Edison was tending to the automated grass mowers, powering them on and leaving them to do their work while he went inside to do his. "What is this?" He questioned. He last remembered himself dying in the game. "Am I alive?" He wondered. He walked to his bathroom and looked at the mirror. He saw himself, old and mature, certainly half naked. He walked outside to his room and put a vest on with a pair of Jeans. He was met by his na
How do we kill a Dragon?
David's eyes flung open to the sight of the Dragon above him. Instantly, something unseen struck at the Dragon's face, dissipating it. He hurried up and picked his sword weakly, aiming for the Dragon's legs. He moved back, his enhancement now on. He pounced forward and struck its wings, tearing them off. He didn't give it a pause before striking its nape. Using his flight abilities, he floated above it, then drilled into the back of its skull, instantly killing it, the dying shrieks of the horrified soul eaters filling everywhere. He looked at his friends who were all now conscious and fighting their Dragons. Dana was on top of Tigra's back, riding as she strode to the Dragon before her. She jumped, the Tiger also midair, then aimed for the Dragon's throat before it could react. She landed on the floor, rolling forward. Eder who was aiming for another Dragon grabbed her and hurled her forward, shooting an arrow right after her. It made to block her attack and she struck. It flapped h
Thank You
The Dragon's tail slapped David away and it blew its wings at their direction, causing all of them to fall. It rushed, attempting to crush them, an attempt that was instantly thwarted by David's attack at its left eye. An attack although futile, gave an opening to his companions to escape. "He is tough." Eden spoke, pulling Meena to his side. "Stay behind us." He added. She pushed herself away from him, her face exhibiting annoyance. She was not a little girl that needed protection. She was equally a mercenary and a fighter, one that knew the risks involved in the battle she was partaking in. "Suit yourself." He spoke and rushed again, aiming for the leg with what was left of his broken sabre. It clanged and he jumped away, the Dragon's head attempting to crush him on the spot. Eder used the opportunity to shoot an arrow at it and its wing blocked the attack. Dana frowned, nothing was working. If they kept at it without a plan for retreat, they would all die. Even retreat seemed a
Level 10: Unknown
"Did you seriously have to make our rewards about Ladus?" Eden groaned as they journeyed through the forest. "I support this." Eder added, Meena sitting on his shoulders. David chuckled. "You'll get all the gold in the world at Ladus, you're like their Superman." He responded. "A super man? What is that?" Eden asked. David laughed slowly again. "Where I come from, he's a legend. He does a lot of good and is very strong. The reason people love him is because he'll always help people, even the villains who are misguided." He explained. "That sounds childish and boring. He's probably a child's fantasy and a myth." The twins hissed afterwards. Dana and Colleen were way ahead of them, communicating. He didn't know what they were talking about and didn't want to know. He looked at Meena on Eder's shoulders. She had grown a liking for him. He wondered why she was being treated like a child when the age gap between them was two. Well, he was older, there was no point arguing. He rememb
The Dark One
"Are you okay?" Colleen asked David who, lost in thoughts, jolted back to consciousness. "Yes, I am." He found himself responding, although he wasn't. "I know this all seems crazy. You just have to hold on." She added. He nodded, he could not find words to say to her. His next level, the mission still unknown, bore nothing but suspense and fear to his mind. "David, are you sure you're okay?" She asked, feeling the sweat soak his under clothe. They had settled at an inn for the night and ensured she shared the room with him just in case something like that happened. To the rest, especially the twins, her intentions seemed otherwise. Those thoughts were thoughts she did not dare to entertain. She was only his guide, his protector, not his lover or sexual pleasure. "I don't think I'm okay." He finally spoke, breaking the silence between them. "What is it?" She asked him, placing her right palm on his face. "My next level objective, it's unknown. I don't know what to do, could it m
The Dark One(again)
"The Dark one." Colleen whispered, her legs shaking in fear as she backtracked. They all had the same glimpses of fear in their eyes and retreated except for David whose fear weighed less than theirs. He knew this was a game. To him, a challenge he had to overcome. "Well, player one. I must say I am impressed by your heroics." The huge, towering man spoke. His skin, robe, eyes all black. Yet, one could make out he was a living being with a form, a form physically impossible to overcome. "You're the Dark Lord." David finally found himself speaking, swallowing a lump of spit. "You seem short of words. Weren't you so foul against Orebon?" The Dark one asked. "Oh, I see it now. My reputation did no damage to you, but my presence does. How poetic. The prey finally meets the Predator." His voice bellowed. David's leg felt weak and wobbly. He had never felt this much fear before. It was as if his life was ending, restarting, then ending in a continuous loop."Where are you all off to? T
