The hall watched silently as Sophia walked towards Prince Frederick, her eyes locked on his, a mix of different emotions swirling in her gaze.
She stopped in front of him, her voice firm. "So, you are Prince Frederick. Until today, I had high respect for you. But meeting you in person and seeing how you behave, how you lie carelessly... all I have for you now is hatred, irritation, and disgust." Prince Frederick stood there, taken aback, not knowing what to say. He felt helpless in front of Sophia. Sophia continued, her words lashing out. "Yes, I was lying at your feet, begging for your help. But you didn't even look at me. Instead, you kicked me away and called me nothing but trash." “Did he really say that?” The crowd's murmurs grew louder, their eyes fixed on the unfolding drama. "However, thankfully, you weren't the last person who entered the hall," Sophia said, a small smile on her lips. "Someone else came, someone more kind. He relieved me of my pain and made me whole again. It was like a miracle. I couldn't believe it. I became instantly strong, and I forgot about everything I'd been feeling for the past week." Sophia chuckled in disgust. "And you claim it was you?" She said, twisting her face in disbelief. "Such a big lie. You should be ashamed of yourself." She spat at prince Frederick who stood there, unable to say a word. Governor Marcus asked, "Who is it that saved you, my daughter? Look around and point at the person." Sophia turned, her gaze scanning the crowd until it landed on Lior. She pointed a finger, her voice filled with conviction. "He is the one. He is the God-sent who changed my life, who saved me from an untimely death." The governor's eyes widened. "Are you sure, Sophia?" Sophia's voice was unwavering. "I am not mistaken, Father. I can still remember his face. He is the one who smiled with kindness and held my hand to stand me up after healing every sickness in me." The crowd erupted into gasps and whispers. “So what he claimed was true?” “How is this possible?” “Who really is this guy?” Lior stood tall, a quiet smile on his face. The governor's expression transformed, his eyes soft with gratitude. "Lior, you great one... you saved my daughter's life." Comments from the crowd kept flooding in, but this time around, the very crowd who cursed Lior, now praised him, showing how easily the crowd can be swayed by what they hear and see. "A servant saved the governor's daughter?!" A lady exclaimed in surprise. "The prince is exposed!" "Lior's a hero!" The crowd chanted. Prince Frederick's face twisted in anger and shame from all the comments, but he knew he couldn't compete with the truth. Immediately the governor bowed his head. And with his head still bowed, he said in a soft voice, filled with remorse. "Please forgive me, Lior. It was a grave mistake I made in doubting you. On behalf of my daughter and I, please accept my apologies." Everyone was shocked by the governor's behavior. "Is the governor actually bowing to a servant?" someone whispered. "This is unprecedented!" another voice chimed in. While the whole hall buzzed with chatter, Lior quickly moved to the governor's side and stood him up, his face filled with concern. "Please, Governor, don't bow to me. I should be the one bowing to you. This is none of your fault. Now we all know this is the prince's fault. All of this was just a misunderstanding caused by the prince because he claimed to do what he didn't do. He tried to take credit for my work." The governor's expression turned stern, his eyes blazing with anger as he turned to Prince Frederick and cursed, "You! First claiming ownership of what you didn't do… Why did you stoop so low?" He then turned to King Adric, his voice firm. "Is that how you raised your son to become the crown prince of the great Azurefang clan?" The king stood there, his face filled with shame. He had never felt so much humiliation in his entire life. "I'm so ashamed to call him my son," he spat. He turned to Delilah, his eyes cold. "Delilah, you've spoiled your son. This is not who a crown prince should be. That is why I have made my decision.." He turned and faced the crowd, and his voice thundered through the hall. "So, from today, I strip Prince Frederick of his title as the crown prince. He is no longer the heir to the throne of the Azurefang clan." The crowd roared, their voices echoing through the hall, as everyone was talking about the sudden decision of the king. The king handed the gift containing the original Blood Moonstone back to a servant, who gave it to the governor. Meanwhile Prince Frederick, shocked and unable to contain his shame, quickly rushed to his father's feet and pleaded, "Father, please reverse this decision!" The king's expression remained unyielding. "No, Prince Frederick. You are no longer the heir to my throne. You can no longer bring me anything but shame. You've brought shame to this kingdom, to this family, and to me. I am not happy with you." Delilah quickly rushed and bowed the king. “My love, your royal highness, please look on us with mercy.” “My decision is final,” the king said with authority. Delilah took the prince to another corner to calm him down, closely followed by Rhea Smith who was wondering what just happened at her own engagement. The governor took the box containing the Blood Moonstone and handed it to Sophia. "Take this and give it to the one who saved your life." Sophia smiled while approaching Lior. She bowed her head, raising the gift. "Please accept this gift, Lior Raz, for saving my life. Thank you so much for giving me another chance to live. I owe my life to you. Now, anything you wish for, I will grant it to you." Lior stood there for a while, looking at the gift. Suddenly, he saw something that was wrong about it, and his expression changed. "I won't accept this gift," he said loudly, his voice firm. Sophia looked up confused, wondering what went wrong. “But… why?” She asked in a soft voice. Everyone watched in shock wondering what this new drama is. “Because this Blood Moon Stone is a fake.” Lior replied without blinking twice. He was so sure because his Divine Eyes skill was able to see the value of each item and where it originated from.Latest Chapter
THE WORLD NEEDS YOU
“Leave!” Delilah’s voice thundered across the chamber, sharp and commanding. The maids, who had been forced onto Prince Frederick’s bed against their will, flinched at the sound. Their faces were pale, their eyes wide with fear. They scrambled off the bed, skirts tangled, and rushed toward the door. They did not look back as they fled, the heavy door slamming shut behind them. The room was suddenly quiet, save for the distant sounds of the palace courtyard outside. The golden rays of the afternoon sun fell across Frederick’s disheveled figure, highlighting the arrogance in his grin. Frederick turned, his hair untidy. “Come, Mother,” he said with careless pride. “Let’s celebrate.” Delilah closed her eyes briefly, exhaling as though steadying herself. When she opened them, her gaze was cold and sharp. “Put on your clothes first,” she ordered. “This appearance is not fit for a prince.” Frederick sighed, rolling his eyes, but obeyed. He put on his garments, fastening them la
THE Beginning Of Katrina's Pain
The banquet hall glowed with candlelight, but the atmosphere was heavy. King Aldric sat stiffly at the head of the table, his jaw tight, his eyes narrowed. Across from him lounged King Varon Deymar, ruler of the neighboring kingdom. Varon was everything Aldric despised: loud, careless, indulgent. He laughed too easily, drank too much, and let his eyes linger far too long on the palace maids who moved nervously around the table. “Ah, such fine wine, Aldric!” Varon exclaimed, raising his goblet high. “And such fine company. Your maids are prettier than the stars. Come, girl, pour me another.” He winked at a trembling servant, who flushed and hurried to refill his cup. Aldric clenched his teeth. “He treats my hall like a tavern,” he thought bitterly. Yet he said nothing, for though he hated Varon, he feared him. Varon’s armies were vast, his influence wide. Delilah, seated gracefully beside Aldric, smiled faintly at Varon’s antics. Her eyes sparkled with amusement as she watched
EXILED PRINCE REVEALED
The crowd was shocked.“Did someone actually outdo Prince Frederick?”“I can't wait to see who that is.” Mr. Leo raised his hand again, quieting the murmurs. “First place… with a shocking 60,000 points… Lior Raz!”The arena erupted. Students stood up, shouting, disbelief written across every face. “This is a first in history.”“Impossible! There must be some kind of mistake.”Even Lior himself was shocked. He didn't know that defeating the AA level beast would give him a 30 thousand point advantage, added to the previous thirty he had.As Lior stepped forward, Ruth’s eyes widened, and then she smiled—a bright, knowing smile. “I finally found him!” she whispered to herself.Lior walked slowly up to the winner’s stand. Cameras swarmed, their lenses zooming in, projecting his face onto the giant screen for everyone to see.Prince Frederick couldn’t contain himself. “He cheated! This isn’t possible!” he shouted, his voice cracking.Miss Shawn frowned.” Are you saying we couldn't superv
SECOND PLACE? WHO'S FIRST?
Mr. Leo and Miss Severine stood frozen, their gazes locked onto the large, glowing holographic screen that hovered above the academy arena. The air around them was thick with tension. On the screen, the leaderboard pulsed with light, and at the very top, Prince Frederick’s name blazed in gold letters, his point total sitting at a commanding 25,000. With each passing second, his lead over the others seemed to stretch wider and wider.Around them, the other teachers clustered in small groups, their voices low but filled with open admiration. “Impressive control of mana output,” one instructor whispered. “His technique is flawless for his age,” another replied, nodding slowly. But then, without warning, the steady rhythm of the rankings was broken. A new name, previously buried deep in the middle of the list, began to climb at an unnatural speed—Lior Raz.At first, it was barely noticeable. Lior’s name flickered past tenth place, then surged past seventh, then fifth, as if defyin
THE SUDDEN B LEVEL BEAST
The fog was thick, curling around the dead trees like ghostly fingers. Growls echoed in the distance as the shadow beasts prowled. Students scattered in groups, weapons drawn, their watches glowing faintly as they prepared for battle. Lior stood calmly, his eyes scanning the mist. “So this is the C-level area,” he murmured. Arkanos’s voice rang in his mind, amused. “Easy prey. Let’s warm up.” A shadow beast lunged from the fog—its claws sharp, its eyes glowing red. Lior didn’t even flinch. He sidestepped, his movements fluid, and with one swift strike, the beast collapsed. His watch beeped. +100 points. Lior grinned. “Too easy.” He cracked his knuckles, his confidence rising. Another beast charged, snarling. Lior spun, his blade slicing through its neck. +100 points. “Ha! This is nothing,” he said, his grin widening. Back at the academy, Mr. Leo and another teacher, Miss Severine, stood in front of the giant screens that displayed the rankings. Numbers flickered rapi
OPENING DAY OF THE ACADEMY
It was finally the first day of school resumption. The grand courtyard of the Royal Academy was buzzing with voices, banners of every kingdom swaying in the breeze. The air was thick with ambition, rivalry, and pride. This was because students of this school came from top noble families from different continents, countries and kingdoms. There were also secret races of beings which weren't humans. It wasn't the only school in the city, but it was the most prestigious. Lior stepped forward, his eyes scanning the crowd. He felt alive—this was the place where strength would be tested, where ranks would be earned. He used his Divine eyes skill on some few people and noticed that they had very high combat abilities. “Ah, at last a place to face worthy opponents.” I am getting fired up, Arkanos commented, and lior could only imagine that if he could see Arkanos's face, there'll be a wide grin. But before Lior could take in the atmosphere fully, a sharp, mocking voice cut through
