The Beginning
Centuries ago, there was once lived a powerful Dragon Lord.He ruled over the heavens and the earth. He was known, and crowned with a Title, as the balance between Death and Life, Despair and Rebirth. His powers were strong enough to make his palace avoided by almost every living soul. From this fear, Humans avoided any act which would anger him.Soon, he was known as The Shadow Lord, The King of the Realms, The Ancient Serpent.Every five years, The Four Elemental Dragons would come together at his Palace on the mountain top, to have a simple talk, or rather still worship his existence. This continued, for a hundred years...Until, The Darkness arrived. The Void of Destruction. The end of all.Doomsday.It threatened the existence of life itself and sought to bring about the collapse of the realms. So, the Ancient Dragon challenged the darkness, something the old gods were afraid to accomplish. This challenge caused the Earth to rumble, the volcanoes, erupted... Nothing was at peace.
Black Card
"A Card?" Kael held the small black piece, "A business or a credit card? Or what?"The black card, had the drawing of golden dragon's head, carefully lined to fit perfectly on the middle. He flipped the card to the other side, then saw clearly, 'B-S 12'."B... S.... 12?," Kael read out, "Is that like a codename or a..."He shook his head, then placed it into the grocery bag. "I'll read it later..."Although with the incident that had just happened, the City quickly regained its business, and with the buzzing and car honking, it was back to Busy Mode .Kael quickly arranged the grocery bag, "Need to cross," He mumbled, when a boy walked to his side."Hey," Kael looked at the boy, who seemed to be about nine-years-old, but had the look in his eyes, of someone with reverend knowledge."Can you help me cross to the other side of the road?," The boy asked, popping in a lollipop into his mouth.Kael looked at the boy, then back to the street. It definitely had a busy setup, so, he said, "S
A Stranger
10:00 PM.The old laundry store far from Kael's apartment had the same problems, almost every day.Faulty washing machines, long lines, and unfortunately, nowhere to sit inside while waiting. So Kael opted waiting outside. Rather than join the chaos inside, he let the others fight it out. He'd learned it wasn't worth the stress. After seven hours of soul-crushing waiting, he finally got in, when everyone had gotten their items cleaned."I could've slept through all that," Kael muttered, dumping his clothes into one washers. The fading sounds of the city, still buzzing at night, washed over him like soft white noise. He climbed onto the washer and pulled out his phone to scroll.Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a boy—maybe nine years old—standing beside him. Kael glanced at the kid, then back at his screen.Wait a second. He turned sharply. "You?!"The boy unwrapped a lollipop, cool as ever. "Hey—""What? When did you—? Why are you here?!"The boy tilted his head, eyes locked o
Into a New World
"Eclipsera? What are you talking about? Who are you? Why are you here? What was that creature which just attacked me... What... What is going on?.."The man jumped down, closing the distance, after hearing a multiple question, "Kael—""How do you know my name?" Kael's voice sharpened. Every part of him was alert. He wasn't about to trust this man, especially not after what just happened."First, you must know— I'm not here to harm you." The man stretched out a hand. "Even if I tried... I wouldn't be able to."Kael's eyes scanned him warily before he reluctantly accepted the hand and stood, "Who are you?""Cedric. Principal of Eclipsera Academy. A place devoted to training future Dragonslayers—""Wait. Dragonslayers?"Cedric nodded, "Yes. Individuals with Pure Blood who've awakened the Blessings—""What are you even saying?" Kael raised a hand, his expression clear, in disbelief."During the incident this afternoon, you held a dying man, didn't you?"Kael nodded slowly."He isn't human

Questions...?Kael frowned, having a thought, 'First thing first, I don't know who this man is, although he had just introduced himself as the Principal of an odd named School, so, I must remain cautious...'Cedric as well, stared at Kael, having his own thoughts, 'This boy is someone who knows what to do, and when to ask some questions. From my view on him, he actually isn't a silly one... Hmm, he definitely would be placing on some suspicious hints on me.' Kael's thoughts resurfaced, keeping the entire space between them, quiet, 'Secondly, I must be careful with the Questions I ask. Some questions can be used to evaluate someone's thinking..., To bring out the truth in their hearts and at the same time, understand what is going on in their head., So, if I must ask some questions, it should be the one straight to the answers....' Kael finally asked out, "What does it mean to have Dragon Blood? Isn't it the same as Pure Blood?.. or whatsoever Blood it's called... Also, Why are you w
Lessons to be learned
~Did you know: You can actually breathe beneath the single blue waterfall at the East Wing of the Eclipsera Academy. It's made of Aqua Vital—not as dense as water, and infused with breath-light particles. Try it..As the door slid open, Kael took a step forward, and almost slipped."Watch your step," Cedric said from behind, not even looking, "We haven't landed yet." He then tossed out the burnt out cigarette, whispering underneath his breathe, "99th Blessings of Death."Kael on the other hand, pulled back, then looked up.What he saw… wasn't what he expected.Built into the mountains, stretching far into the sky, was the Academy.Stone towers stacked one above another, bridges curled around cliffs, and waterfalls dropped from high walls into rivers below. Lights burned in lanterns that floated without ropes, swaying slightly in the cold wind. The spires of some towers were what actually caught his attention. From the spiked tops, straight into the sky, a blue light dashed up, contin
A New Strange Student
~ Did you know: New high-rank students at Eclipsera receive a Black Card that grants access to the Academy's private transport system. Kael received his too... He just forgot it back in his apartment..After leaving the garden, Cedric led Kael to his office, just a few steps from the Garden, but a thousand walks through a 'non-ending' hallway. It was only after they had entered, he deactivated the 99th Blessings of Death, then said, "Just take a look around, I will search for the accessing artifact," Before walking to the end of the room, to ransack a large box, enough to fit a grown man in, but filled with scraps and junks, but, also, less conspicuous to have anything valuable in it.Kael moved around the rather large room, which had towers of shelves, opposite of the other, filled with old scrolls, and Tomes, aging decades without a single dust.Beside one of the Shelf, was a glass box with trophies of various sizes and shapes.'Looks like this Academy win a lot of awards... but wh
Code RED
~Did You Know: An Ancient Dragon is basically immortal, living up to more than 10,000 years—far outlasting Vampires. And in addition, can grow stronger as centuries past?.."A new Rank S?," The girl looked at Kael from head to toe. "When did we have a new Rank S?"The boy, though, stayed silent, his eyes judging Kael; 'He definitely looks powerful, although with how casually he dresses. And he's the only new face in the room... I can bet a billion dollars, even with how powerful Principal Cedric's Blessings of Death is, he couldn't have caused this much destruction beyond repair, especially with how upright he is. The damage all points inward... the windows are shattered, and majority of these shattered glasses aren't present, meaning it all landed outside, so the blast came from inside. Something isn't right, or maybe... Someone.. Or probably Me and my theory.'Kael met the boy's gaze, who frowned back at him. Kael just had to say, "Um... Hi?.."The boy spoke up at once, "Principal

Lost Old Friendship
~ Did you know: On certain nights, the gods play chess with the stars, and whenever one loses, the fallen piece becomes a shooting star..The silence was heavy.Everyone inside the Monitor room, watched Rei's every move.On the screen, his calm demeanor hadn't changed, and it gave those watching a slight calmness he wouldn't know about.Kael on the other hand swallowed a lump of air. He could see it... The Black Spider made no move... Yet.'Why is it waiting? I have a ton of questions, but I can't ask one...,' He gripped tightly on his sleeve.Lyra glanced at Kael. Her eyes narrowed, not in suspicion, but with curiosity."Are you seeing something weird? Or is there something that's bothering you?" She asked.Kael blinked, "Actually, No, I'm just worried, you know, the whole thought about fighting something you can't see, but only rely on some Energy Reading stuffs, it's still hard to process.""Hmm," She murmured, eyes still on him, before returning back on the screen.Rei, bent forw
