1. Logan Hale
'All this stress for nothing. Just one vile?’ Logan's thoughts swirled. Christopher had said the Crownfell stored the elixir here. ‘I always knew stealing was a bad idea…' The alien's voice boomed, making Logan's skin crawl. "I will ask you for the last time, what were you doing here? Are you spying on my people?" He circled Logan, his purple eyes blazing. His armor glowing faint blue. Logan didn't respond. His head lowered, totally oblivious to the towering alien. Slap! The sting of the slap jolted Logan back to reality. "Fuck!" he hissed, his face burning. The Pleiadian’s voice was cold as ice. "Do you even know where you are? You are not supposed to be anywhere around here, child. You are already stupid enough to be here, so answer my question and don't act a fool." Logan's jaw tightened. He knew exactly where he was—an uncharted territory, off limits to humans. Only the pleiadians lived here or came around here. But he had no other option, he came for the elixir, no ma
2. Lone Mission
At work, his shift had already started. Logan was working part-time as a janitor in Blue-Sky. He paced around, muttering under his breath. Could he trust a Pleiadian? The thoughts churned in his gut. He slumped onto a copper bench, face in his palm. Christopher, his best friend approached him, concern etched on his face. He hunkered down a bit, and ruffled Logan's hair. "Hey, what’s eating you up?"Logan's shoulder slumped, and he let out a heavy sigh. Christopher knew him too well. Their friendship dated back to childhood—then, he had no friends. Some kids teased and insulted Logan, they called him all manner of awful names, even called him the son of a traitor—to a time Logan stood up to a gang of bullies that had cornered Christopher on his way home. Despite his father's disapproval, Christopher had refused to abandon him, and their bond had only grown stronger."What isn't?" Logan’s voice cracked, and he felt a lump form in his throat. Desperate to vent, to unleash the emotion
3. Ginsel Bar
"What are you doing here!?" A short dark man with a pot belly seethed in anger as he pointed his stubby finger to Logan. "You good for nothing brat, who told you that you can sit and rest anytime you want."“John, I’m going back to work now.” "You must be very insane. You dare call me by my name? I am sir or supervisor to you. Don't forget I can get you thrown out of this company, I run things here.” He leaned closer to Logan. “You know, you don't deserve to be a staff here, you’re just a shameless loser Blue-Sky decided to take off the streets."Logan had gotten quite fond of people talking down on him, so supervisor John’s taunts meant nothing to him. He simply averted his gaze, and resumed work. The sun set, casting an orange glow over Greenville. Logan had already left work, focused on the mission at hand, he navigated shady streets, searching for answers. He made his way to the edgy corner of Cohun, where all sorts of shady transactions were done. The smell of cigarettes and c
4. Kano
Logan's eyes narrowed. “I’m not leaving till I get what I'm looking for.”“An early grave? To meet your father again, huh!? Is that what you want? Listen, you have to trust me.”Logan chuckled nervously. “Trust?” From where he stood, the word had no significance, it was an overrated word used to decieve ignorant men.The old man's expression was grim, “You see, kid, you made your choice. Now here’s mine.” Logan saw it coming, but it was too fast. The old man launched a devastating strike on Logan's neck, and everything went blank. As Logan collapsed, the man caught him and slugged him over his shoulder, leaving the bar in a haste.Four men wearing long black coats burst into the bar, not long after. One limping. The air was thick with tension as they scanned the room. Their presence oozed a different kind of aura. It was Drew—the menace mercenary that worked for Vaught—and his crew. Rumors had it that he killed hundreds of Pleiadians during the war and his limp was the only inju
5. Allies or Foe
Kano pushed him away, before the dagger dug deep in his chest, his eyes locked on Logan's. “Run, boy! Leave here while you still can. I will hold him off.”Logan hesitated.“Leave now, damn it. That's an order!”Kano's words sliced deep. He turned and ran, the sound of fighting and shouts fading into the distance. His breath came in ragged gasps as he sprinted through the darkness, his heart pounding in his chest. As he ran, he heard sounds of footsteps behind him, getting closer and closer. Some men were after him, and he knew he couldn't outrun them for long.Logan's breaths were short as he ducked between alleys, his stomach churning with anxiety. He cut to a corner, and found himself trapped with no way out.A menacing cackle filled the air as his pursuers closed in. Three figures, their faces twisted with malice.“You made us chase you all this way,” one of them sneered. “you're done for now. There's nowhere to run to.”“Little coward running for his dear life,” Another said.
6. The Harsh Truth
“You promise you won't do anything stupid,” the pleiadian said, his tone serious. Logan nodded, a weird sense of trust washing over him. If the pleiadian had wanted to hurt him, he would've done it by now. “I promise.”The pleiadian mumbled some words and the ropes fell off. Logan flexed his wrists, feeling a rush of relief. “I didn't know pleiadians were mages too.” Logan said, a bit surprised. “Only a few of us know magic,” the pleiadian replied. “The ability only comes to those with an open mind.” “What is your concern with what I'm doing?” Logan questioned, but hurriedly waved the curiosity aside. It had nothing to do with his mission. “Anyway, none of my business. I need to let Kregor know what I've found.” The pleiadian chuckled, a low rumbling sound. “Just as I figured. I see my brother is using a human to do his duty. He will rather send a human to die.”Kregor's brother?Logan's eyes darkened, his fist balled up beside him. “What do you mean by that?” “Kregor believes t
7. Sonia
The pleiadian gasped at the sight of Logan's transformation, and he raised his hand in a calming gesture. “You have to control your emotions, or you'd get yourself killed.” Logan's anger surged, and blue flame danced across his skin. “You're not answering my question.”“Do not give in to rage.”“Then, answer me!” The fire only grew more.“Logan, listen to me. Do not let your rage take over. You'd kill us both. The fate of a lot depends on you. Think about Meridith, she still needs you!” Hearing his mother's name, the flames died down, and Logan's fist unclenched; his body sagging as the energy drained from him. He fell to his knees, tears streaming down his face, and he let out a loud cry.The pleiadian approached him, placing a hand on his shoulder. “This power in you has to be forged properly, you need to find the main orb, and merge with it so you two can be one.”Logan looked up, his eyes red-rimmed. “What do you mean?”“There are things you need to find out for yourself, but y
8. What's The Catch
Sonia drove an indigo Mustang, and Logan sat beside her in silence, stealing glances at her as they drove to Blue-Sky. Who was she? He only remembered seeing her in Blue-Sky once. Her house was really spacious, filled with foreign artifacts, and breathtaking mural paintings on the walls. There was no doubt she was rich, yet, she seemed different. As they arrived, Logan jumped out of the car and rushed towards the company, while Sonia drove into the parking lot. John, the supervisor, spotted Logan and rushed towards him, nose flaring. “You brat, walking in by his hour like you own this company. What do you have to say for yourself now, are you not incompetent as I have always said.”Logan's patience wore thin, and he snapped. “John, I seriously don't have time for this right now.”The other cleaners watched, some giggling as Logan spoke back to the cocky supervisor. John's face reddened. He dragged Logan's shirt, trying to intimidate him. But, Logan didn't budge.“Oh! you're about
9. Crossing The Line
Logan felt the piercing look of Sonia, his mind racing with thoughts. What was he going to say to Sonia? She was not going to believe a word that he said now.“It’s personal,” he said, his tone flat.Sonia’s expression crumbled slightly. She bit her lower lip. Then she spoke again, this time lowering her voice. "Just be careful next time. You can leave now."Logan stomped towards the door, convinced that what he'd done was the right thing in keeping Sonia out of it. She has already done enough. He figured that she'd probably found out about the bar scandal anyway, that kind of information was not out of reach to people like Sonia. The smell of chemicals and the stench of the disinfectant welcomed Logan as he entered the lab, the muffled sound of machinery and the soft buzz of the fluorescent light emitting a clean ambiance.Christopher's eyes were protected by a pair of goggles as he worked expertly with a volume flask filled with a glowing green liquid.“Hey, Chris!” Logan called, hi
10. Tit for Tat
Two pleiadian guards halted him on his track, their eyes glowing faintly. “I'm here to see Kregor,” Logan said, raising his hands slowly. They exchanged a look.“What business do you have with Lord Kregor?” one said. They stepped closer to Logan, weapons drawn, “talk fast.”A voice cut through, “Let him in.” Logan's eyes narrowed—he knew that voice. Yuri.“The human returns,” he said. “Bold, or foolish.”“A bit of both,” Logan muttered. The guards searched him quickly, then motioned him forward. Yuri led the way. Logan followed, senses on high alert, until a structure came into view—smooth metallic walls blended with organic curves, pulsing faintly with blue light. ‘Here we go.’“He's waiting,” Yuri said, his lips curling into a sly smirk. Inside, Kregor stood rigid, no armour—just him, looking drained. His glowing eyes dimmer than before. Grief sat heavily on him, even across species it wouldn't go unnoticed. “You came,” Kregor said.“I didn't say I wouldn't,” Logan replied.
