Two pleiadian guards halted him on his track, their eyes glowing faintly.

“I'm here to see Kregor,” Logan said, raising his hands slowly.

They exchanged a look.

“What business do you have with Lord Kregor?” one said. They stepped closer to Logan, weapons drawn, “talk fast.”

A voice cut through, “Let him in.” Logan's eyes narrowed—he knew that voice.

Yuri.

“The human returns,” he said. “Bold, or foolish.”

“A bit of both,” Logan muttered.

The guards searched him quickly, then motioned him forward.

Yuri led the way.

Logan followed, senses on high alert, until a structure came into view—smooth metallic walls blended with organic curves, pulsing faintly with blue light. ‘Here we go.’

“He's waiting,” Yuri said, his lips curling into a sly smirk.

Inside, Kregor stood rigid, no armour—just him, looking drained.

His glowing eyes dimmer than before. Grief sat heavily on him, even across species it wouldn't go unnoticed.

“You came,” Kregor said.

“I didn't say I wouldn't,” Logan replied. “I did what I had to.”

Kregor nodded in understanding. “And?”

Logan inhaled deeply. “Louis was investigating stolen elixir.”

“I suspected as much,” Kregor said quietly, jaw clenched. “Someone was diverting it before it reached Greenville.”

“You knew already,” Logan said. But, how wouldn't he, he’s like the King around here.

“Indeed.” Kregor turned away, fist tightening. “He was close wasn't he?”

Logan paused, “I think so.”

Silence stretched.

Kregor's voice dropped low. “What else?”

“Crownfell.”

The name hung between them like poison.

“Shawn Crownfell,” Kregor growled. “He’s always been a thorn on this side.”

He's been a thorn on every side.

Logan thought Crownfell and the pleiadians were in league, but turns out the pleiadians hated him as much.

“He stole everything from my family,” Logan said. “Now he's stealing yours.”

Kregor stared intently at Logan, studying him. Longer this time. “You hate us.”

Logan laughed humorlessly.

‘Isn’t it obvious?’ But when it came to his mother's life, any feeling had to move aside. He raked his brain for a much subtle response.

“You invaded my city,” he said.

“And still you chose to be here,” Kregor replied. “Why?”

Logan's resolve faltered, and his shoulder became tense. “Because my mother is dying,” he said, his voice low.

Kregor's expression turned somber for a split second.

“She needs the elixir,” Logan continued. “And I'll do whatever it takes to get it.”

The elixir arrived in Greenville under Crownfell's supervision, and it came with a hefty price tag only a few could afford. Logan had once considered stealing from Crownfell, but now he had a chance to get it through honorable means. Did I forget to mention, a very dangerous means.

Kregor nodded slowly. “Then we share a common enemy.”

Yuri stepped in. “Lord Kregor, the elders call for you,” he said, glancing once at Logan.

“Louis uncovered something else, vital information,” Kregor said. “And it cost him his life.”

Logan stared blankly at the retreating pleiadian. “So what do you want from me?”

Kregor halted, and he turned to face Logan. “You live among them. You have access.”

“You want me to spy?”

“I want you to expose them,” Kregor stated. “Crownfell, and anyone else involved.”

He would do anything to see Crownfell exposed, and thrown in jail.

“And the elixir?” Logan asked.

Kregor stepped closer. “You succeed, and your mother will have all the elixir she wants.”

Yuri scoffed. “You trust this human?”

Kregor gaze sliced at him, shutting him up. “Prepare a vial.”

“Now?” Yuri’s eyes widened.

“Now,” Kregor said. “This human has done well.”

The vial was placed in Logan's hand. The liquid inside shimmering like liquid night sky, the elixir.

Logan stared at it.

“This will make her feel better,” Kregor said. “Not cure. Yet.”

Logan held the vile tightly. “Thank you.”

Kregor tilted his head. “Don’t get soft, kid. This is war.”

Logan turned to leave.

“Logan,” Kregor called after him.

He paused.

“Be careful,” Kregor said. “Betrayal and hurt often comes from the ones you trust.”

Logan didn't respond.

He stepped back into the city, filled with hope and promises. The task ahead of him was becoming more dangerous and intertwined with dark secrets, but it didn't faze him—not with his mom's treatment on the line.

One step at a time.

The vial burned cold in his pocket, a sharp reminder—he needs to unravel this mystery, like yesterday.

The door shut as they stormed in. Beth locked it quickly, sliding the bolt with trembling hands, before pressing his back against the wood. His chest rose and fell rapidly as he tried to control his breathing. The room was dim, lit only by a single lamp placed on a crooked table. Shadows stretched across the walls of the small apartment, flickering as the light buzzed faintly. Logan stood still near the doorway. His chest rose in slow, irregular motions. Blue light pulsed weakly just beneath his skin, fading in and out like smoldering embers. His fists clenched and unclenched at his sides, trembling with restrained energy. No one said anything for a moment. Untill… “You're… safe here. No one comes here, it's been abandoned for a long, long time,” Beth said, glancing once at Logan. Logan sniffled. His jaw was clenched. His eyes, which were still glowing faintly, were locked intently on the wall as if he could see through it. “They're making it,” he said quietly. Beth swallo

Logan's heart rate quickened as the footsteps approached. All his instincts screamed at him to move, to run—but the chains dug deeper into his wrists with every tug, a sharp sting of metal into his tender flesh. His heartbeat escalated—then suddenly stilled. The shift came without warning. A low hum began to thrum softly beneath his skin, then it became stronger. Heat pooled his chest, spreading like molten fire through his veins. His vision blurred, the edges glowing faintly blue. ‘No…not now’ The footsteps came towards the doorway, and halted. “Hey, didn't we lock this door tightly?” a voice muttered. Logan's jaw clenched. The air around him thickened, heavy and electric, pressing against his lungs. His heartbeat synchronized with the hum alive under his skin, and it continued like that in harmony, until it felt like the world was moving to its rhythm. The metal chains shook violently. Beth could only watch in horror as he hid behind the crates. He stared at the mesmeriz

Across the city, deep beneath Blue-Sky pharmaceuticals, alarms chimed softly. Christopher stood alone in the underground lab, staring at the screen as the genetic markers flared, and graphs surged violently. “Second time today,” he muttered, typing rapidly. Bold texts appeared on the screen. SUBJECT: LOGAN HALE ANOMALY STATUS: ACTIVE Christopher’s lips curled in a slow, dangerous smile. “So it's awakening,” he said quietly. A figure moved behind the glass wall. “We should proceed to phase two.” Christopher nodded, eyes fixed on the screen. “Yes,” he said. “Get the chamber prepared.” His gaze sharpened, obsession burning beneath it as he leaned closer. “Logan has no idea what he is yet.” …………… Logan's surroundings were a haze. His legs buckled, and he barely managed to lean against the wall, before sliding down. ‘What is this?’ . Whatever it was, it wasn't good. It left him vulnerable—too weak. Anyone could've harmed him right there as he was unconscious. As his vi

The large phone call record book weighed heavy on Logan's hand, like his chest. ‘What am I doing? Maybe Christopher’s clean.’ Can't believe I'm doing this for the Pleiadians. Sonia walked in. “Found the book?” she asked, her face neutral. “Yes, can I take it home. It's bigger than I thought.” Sonia glanced once at Logan. “Sure, but be careful. Return it in one peice,” she said, drumming her fingers on the desk. “You won't tell me what this is about?” “It's just… a call I want the date for.” He was about to leave the office. Then it hit. A sharp pain sliced through his arm. He gasped, gripping his forearm. Heat pulsed beneath his skin, and faint lines of light danced under his skin before disappearing in a flash. Vision blurred. His heart pounded with intensity. “What the…” The pain intensified, crawling up his veins, and Logan staggered back, breathing hard. “Logan, are you okay?” Sonia asked, concern etched on her face. She held his arm, and immediately

Blue-Sky looked different at night. The building towered like a vampire's liar, its glass walls reflecting the city's dim glow. Logan stood across the street, hands jammed in his jacket, staring at the logo he’d passed a thousand times. Tonight, it felt different, heavier. Like it was haunted. Christopher was here, he knew it. The door slid open with a quiet hiss when he swiped his card at the side entrance. Inside, the halls were silent. The usual hum of daytime activity was gone, replaced by the soft buzz of fluorescent lights. Logan's boots echoed as he walked, every step heavy, as his mind kept reeling. He couldn't stop thinking about the Orb the pleiadian told him about. About Louis. About… Sonia? He shrugged. If someone was stealing elixir before it reached Greenville, and Crownfell's name kept surfacing then it's possible he was the culprit. Logan stepped off the elevator onto the lab floor. Christopher was there, just like he'd predicted. He was hun

Morning came too quickly. Logan didn't waste time, he grabbed what he needed, and split to see his mom. Leaving home before sunrise. Logan didn't slow down till he got to the hospital. That hospital smell—strong scent of bleach, sickness, meds of all sorts—hit him like a slap the moment he stepped inside. At this hour, the corridors were dim, nurses gliding softly like ghosts, their shoes barely making a sound against the polished floor. His hands remained tightly wrapped around the vial in his pocket. ‘Here we go.’Ward B, Room 307.He hesitated, his hands on the door knob, chest rising and falling too fast. What if Kregor lied? What if the elixir wasn't active anymore? What if it was dangerous for his mother?‘You don't get to do that now,’ he told himself. Logan pushed the door open. His eyes welled at the sight of his mom's fragile form on the bed, barely breathing. She was thinner than she should have been, her pale skin almost translucent under the faint light. Tubes ran in
