CHAPTER 1
Host name: Yuchen.][Class: Merchant Level 1][Unique Skill: Master of Bargaining. Merchant Gaze.]“What is this? How am I going to fight monsters with a skill like this? I need to be strong to defeat the demon king.” Yuchen groaned out. He had just woken up from a terrible dream.Had he been transmigrated?“The demon king? Son, what are you talking about?” A woman's voice made Yuchen look up.There was a worried look on her face and Yuchen went blank. This wasn't just a normal transmigration. Then he looked down at his body, he was in another person's body. The body of a NPC character in the game.“Did you hit your head so hard that you are imagining things now?” Another man said, lifting him up from the floor. At that voice, a rush of memories filled Yuchen's head.“Oh my goodness, there's so much blood.” The woman's eyes widened in true terror, but Yuchen was dazed. This was the first time someone had actually cared about him.He kept quiet while his new parents rushed around and
CHAPTER 2
Yuchen ignored the statement. “You can't afford to do this to other buyers. This city needs to become a better place.”“Just because you were duped, doesn't mean you have to dupe others too. What if someone died using this badly crafted sword? Their blood would be on your hands” Yuchen's voice became softer, and he gripped the man by his shoulders. The seller was moved and then he took a look at the sword. He could now see that there were some mistakes in the crafting of the sword. However, he was so excited to get such a premium sword that he didn't look at those mistakes. Now this bad egg, Yuchen had opened his eyes.“You are right. Just bring whatever amount you have, and I'd sell it to you. My mistake shouldn't cost a life.” The seller saidHearing this, Yuchen wanted to do a fist pump into the air. This skill was tremendous.“You freaking slick fraudster.” Taion’s voice resounded in Yuchen's head.Taion was the creature that he had seen in his dream. The chibi-like creature congr
CHAPTER 3
Yuchen was thrown harshly to the floor and the aches in his back came around again. The fighter-class was about to unsheath his sword when another man came forward and placed his hand on his shoulders.“We can't do this now, Rufus.”Hearing the name, Yuchen chuckled but masked it with a cough. Rufus was exactly the name of his neighbour's dog in his past life.“We still have to report to the guild master. After that, you can take your time with this scum.” The man said.Rufus growled and turned to Yuchen, drawing a line across his neck.“Cough.” Yuchen said and picked himself from the floor.“To think I'd get my first hater without even doing anything. Now I have to faceslap that guy somehow.” Yuchen sighed, this wasn't part of his to-do list.“But in order to be safe. The only being who should kill me should be the demon king, not some random person.”He said, and then walked to the merchant guild, from his memory of the game.It was a bit hard to link everything to the game, but the

Yuchen frowned when he saw the small crowds that gathered around them.“What the heck are you old geezers coming around for? It's just a simple appraisal.”Taion, on the other hand, was holding a bag of popcorn. The higher ups had given him the job to watch this particular person but he couldn't understand why.So for now, he could only enjoy this comedy gold.“Your money?” Flora stretched out her hand.Yuchen could only succumb. However he trusted his skill. There was no way that stuff could sell for so low.He knew how hard he had played the game to get a spatial item.Unless that stupid Taion and his team wanted to make fun of him.“Wait. Why didn't I think of that? They could have sabotaged me.” Yuchen suddenly felt fear creep up his spine.Taion sneezed on the other side and wondered who was talking about him.It was hard to give out the silver coin now that Yuchen thought of this but Flora was faster and she snatched the coin out of his hands.“Time for the appraisal, and in the
CHAPTER 5
Yuchen broke the ashen core into pieces, grinding it into a paste on the pot, before pouring in a good amount of water. This was what he needed to do.Once the paste was liquid enough, Yuchen didn't waste any more time and poured it directly into his parent's mouth.“Would it work, Brother Yuchen?” Yuling asked him, looking up at him with teary eyes.Yuchen nodded, “Yeah it would.” He gave her a smile.Using the merchant Gaze, he was able to see that this paste he had formed was even better than the ashen core in its true nature.Yuchen watched, and a glow covered his parent’s body, healing the wounds on them.“It worked.”His father took a deep breath and his mother opened her eyes. Then they looked at him blankly.Yuchen smiled. Although it looked crooked, he was genuinely happy.“I'm glad you are alive.” He said, and rose up from the floor, while helping them to stand up.His mother rushed and enveloped him in a hug. “You saved us, Yuchen. I'm proud of you!” Yuchen felt a warm fee
CHAPTER 6
Yuchen didn't waste time. The best thing to do was to head out, and he had just the right place in mind. The alleyway. The strength to a swordsman was the space they needed to swing their weapon.“Speeding two months on that game is finally paying off.” Yuchen said as he gripped his sword, waiting for the appearance of the leader.“Don't try to escape. This would be your final destination.” The leader appeared with a dark gaze. His initial thoughts were to seize this boy's money but after seeing the rare display of talent, there was no way he could stand the boy surpassing him.Death was the final decision. But there was a huge miscalculationYuchen swiftly dropped the sword, and rushed forward.“You are courting death.” The leader said and swung his flame sword down. With a side step, Yuchen dodged, and threw a handful of sand into the eyes of the leader, momentarily blinding him.In battle, a moment was enough to decide the winner.Without wasting time, Yuchen leaped into the air, a
CHAPTER 7
The mage class??It was like a dream come true.Even while playing the game, Yuchen had only been able to get the mage role once. This was enough to show how rare it was.“Nice one kid.” Tyron chuckled and patted him on the back.“This was even more than what we expected.” He laughed.Yuchen was confused. Had the Ashen core even done more than expected.“A mage class?” Yuchen was confused.“Yeah! Congratulations.” Even Jade was visibly surprised. In her five years of working here, she had only given mage class cards to five people, and this new boy was the fifth. She couldn't tell if this was just extreme luck or mere talent, as the concentration of colours was something she had never seenThe mages she had assigned cards to, they all had one colour shown. But this young man had two.“This is better than we thought.” Tyron chuckled to himself.Jade smiled back, “I'd prepare your card soon. Is there anything else you'd like me to do?”“Jade, we'd need the list of the active dungeons ar
CHAPTER 8
The reason why that player had even made a fortune was because a month later, the dungeon had collapsed and no one could get spirit iron ore again.Yuchen wasn't going to let that happen to him.He walked inside, ignoring the sound of laughter behind him.“You are going to see it's a waste of time and come back crying to us.” Those men laughed to themselves, before walking away.Meanwhile Yuchen smiled, he placed his hands on the sides of the dungeon. It was a wet surface and yet it was still quite soft, unlike the hard surface of normal cave walls.Yuchen blinked and a golden glow covered his eyes.[Merchant Gaze activated.]“Now I can see where to actually find something good.”He said, holding on to the pick axe he had gotten from a shop.Even the owner had looked at him in a weird way but he didn't care.Yuchen walked deeper into the cave, and then he reached the second floor. There was nothing here either. However, that didn't stop him.If there was any trace of spirit iron ore,
