ARTHUR FEELS RESPONSIBLE

"I just want to see it up close," Arthur replied very innocently.

"Don't do that stupidity. Just look, they look so starving there," Adam said once again.

Arthur also began to undo his intentions. For some reason, all his feelings of fear grew as some supposedly transformed creatures roamed and preyed on all the animals that passed there. Until, the four of them tried to contact a colleague who was still outside the city. Unfortunately, their four mobile phones were left in the laboratory room instead.

"Argh, how could it be left there? Why does this misfortune keep happening to all of us?" asked Adam. He was indeed the most emotional among the others.

"Ah, never mind. You don't expend a lot of energy in such an angry way. We'll be safe here. If we can, we won't make any remarks inside this residence. It's clear that they're also very aggressive towards noise," Arthur continued.

"We can also die here. Food supplies won't last long either," Adam protested once again.

"That's why we have to fill all the needs that exist. Don't complain mostly. This is already a test of the sky. My question now is, will the disease that people here already have also continue to spread to other places?" asked Arthur. He also began to glance at all the face that were there.

"It's possible. However, we also don't know what really happened in this place. Everything just seems safe once we get there. However, the beauty of it happens after we create that engineering. Could it be that they all contracted the virus we've created?" said Matteo. He also sharpened his gaze even more.

Arthur looked back at his close friend's face. He also began to suspect that the strangeness that had already occurred was due to their own actions. Not wanting to take the headache, he was also still silent while thinking about how to get out of there. He also needs a certainty to research the strange incident.

"How about we go back to researching all the compounds that exist?" proposed Arthur later.

"Uh, don't be kidding! We can't do that...," Rick's remarks came to a halt after the sun again shone very brightly. "Can you guys hear that painful scream?"

The four adult men immediately ran close to the window. It is unexpected that all infected humans will experience strange events after being exposed to the light of the sun. Their bodies are burning and weakening. Seeing this incident, Arthur began to make a good plan to be able to return to research in the laboratory.

"Don't take this big risk alone. You could also die from this, though," Rick said. He also felt uneasy about the actions his group mates would take.

Arthur frowned again and widened his smile. "Everything will be safe. We can't stay here either. How long do you want to go? We also need reassurance. Is what Matteo has said true? I just don't want to create a dangerous virus that could threaten human life."

"It's not our fault," Adam said.

"Yes, where do we know? Everything can be explained after we finish that experiment." Arthur looked back at the man who had refused just now.

The four adult men still dare not come out of the nest. They also don't understand how to get into the laboratory safely. A cloudy afternoon accidentally Arthur turned on the national radio broadcast. All the news regarding the problems that occurred where he stood.

"What does this mean? So, this existing problem comes from here?" asked Rick after listening to all the news.

Arthur was also even more amazed after listening to the broadcast. "Could it be that the virus that attacked them is the virus we have already created?"

It was obvious that the four men who were there began to feel more and more worried. In fact, they didn't talk to each other after knowing and suspecting this. Arthur also began to turn on the television broadcasts that were there. As it turns out, the virus that has occurred attacks the immune system along with human metabolism.

It is not yet known for sure where the dangerous virus came from. However, some infected people began to attack and consume similar meat. They say that the suspects are like cannibals who are starving. The chaos that occurred has also almost entered the southern city of Vago.

"This can't be left alone. We have to prevent all this before it's too late," Arthur said as he glanced at his close friend.

"What's the matter? Do you want to do something?" asked Matteo seriously.

"Can you help me to do that thing? We have to stop the problem before it's too late," Arthur said very firmly.

"Yes, but don't torture us either. Before doing so, we should first look at how they adapt and attack their enemies. Don't just run and act recklessly like you said earlier," Adam said once again.

"How long do we stay here? All the problems also come from us," said Arthur, who already feels very responsible for the chaos.

Rick started to Arthur's shoulders very gently. "We don't know for sure where the virus that had infected the humans came from. All are still conjectures. However, we do have to do further investigation into this. Everything will be clear once we manage to research it," he explained very maturely.

"Yes, but do you want to harm yourself by sacrificing yourself like that? I honestly don't want that bad thing to happen to all of us. Either way. We have to identify their movements first." Adam returned to sitting on the couch after getting a glare from some of his friends.

Arthur, who was already dizzy thinking about everything, also began to take a few syringes to take samples of the humans who had been sprawled charred in front of the residence.

"Well, then I will take the already helpless human liquid alone. You can all just be here. However, give me a code when you see you being attacked from various directions!" asserted Arthur. He is indeed a brave and responsible figure.

Matteo began to touch his close friend's hand. "Arthur, don't cause any harm─"

Arthur immediately interrupted his friend's remarks. "Don't worry. I am in charge of this mess. You can all stay inside. I'll get ready to take that look right away."

Arthur was undaunted and immediately put on self-protection equipment. Before leaving there, he also did not forget to pray that everything would go smoothly. After the door opened, he also felt that there was very strong air outside that penetrated his protective equipment.

"Arthur! Be careful!" shouted Matteo from inside the residence.
