War VIII

A sudden explosion pushed Dreygo forward, shuddering until his face smashed the ground. Seemingly it was one of the Heaven’s aerial carrier. A Kraken wrapped around its humongous body with its gargantuan and thorny tentacles. With his vulnerability, the demons saw an opportunity to attack him, now it was different. Dreygo’s hearing, almost cracking his skull, was distorted much because of the explosion and eventually disoriented his vision.

In the skies, the golden armor glittered against the orange clouds. Angels flew overhead in a majestic manner. As if victory was at hand. They seemed to eradicate the first sent battalions of demons. They were delivering deaths to the remaining cowering and escaping demon warriors. With a slight glimpse, in between the demon horde, he saw Pride receding from his steps.
