Britney’s Point of View

The other day...

I opened my eyes. I noticed that the van is still not moving anymore and Charlie is no longer by my side. I opened the door and I saw them standing outside. We reached San Jacinto. It’s a forest that’s why the rate is so expensive. Minmin go out of the van as well.

“You’re awake!” Charlie greeted me.

“Are we in San Jacinto?” I asked him

“Yes. It feels cool, right?” He asked and I observed the place. The air is fresh and the place is neat.

“Yep! Hooogh! It feels great!” I said while stretching.

“It feels great to sleep with someone you love” I heard Charlie murmured but I didn’t understand since his voice is too deep.

“What did you say?” I asked interrogatory

“M-me? No, I did not speak” He said. Am I hallucinating???

“Okay, guys we need to walk for half an hour. Our boat is waiting for us” Jun said and they began carrying their belongings.

“What? You rented a boat immediately?” I asked in shock.

“Yes. What’s the matter?”

“N-no. You’re so fast” I answered. We began walking. While walking, I feel something strange around. 

The wind approaches us as we get near to our destination. It’s weird because the air is cold while the weather is so hot.

I found a rare tree. Its leaves are orange and different to the trees that were planted here.

“Let me take you a photo!” I bring out my phone and started to capture the tree.

“I know it’s there~” 

I immediately turned off my phone. “Did you hear that, guys?” I asked my friends as I heard someone singing.

“What?” Jun asked and they looked at me.

“I heard someone is singing. Saying ‘I know it’s there’” 

“Is anyone singing?” Simon asked but no one responded.

“You’re just hallucinating due to the coffees you drank last night,” Jun said while laughing and they continued walking again. 

“What’s happening to you?” Charlie asked worryingly.

“No. Maybe I’m just hallucinating” I replied. Speaking of last night, I remember my dream. I dreamed about a dazzling city full of golds. It always vanishes before we get there. Is this the sign that El Dorado is still existing?

“Britney!” I came back to reality when Charlie called my name. I started walking. After a few minutes, we have reached the place where the boat is located. The boat is a modern type and it looks expensive. It is similar to a yacht and located in a sea.

A person gave a key to Jun and they do handshake. After it, we get into the boat.

“Let’s sail, everyone!” Jun said and started the engine of the boat. This boat is big for us. It has comfort room, 3 rooms, and a living room. There is a sink for the kitchen. Everything you could need is here.

We put our belongings to our rooms. The room is quite enough for 3-4 people. After putting it, we proceeded to the balcony of the ship. The view is stunning!

“So where are we going first?” I asked Jun who’s operating the ship. He looked at me seriously.

“In a secluded place where no one can see us” He said. I beaten him using my hand.

“You pervert” I answered while laughing.

“Just kidding. Based on the map, we will pass by to other places” He answered.

“Jeez!” I’m impatient!” I answered and he grinned.

“WAAAAAAH!” I screamed when I almost fell to sea. “What happened?” I added.

“I don’t know” Jun answered innocently.

“Don’t tell me this ship is already broken?” Simon asked but Jun didn’t answer and he’s forcing the engine to operate.

“What a scam” Kyle said. I noticed the sky became dark. It looks like it will be having a cyclone.

“Wait, the weather earlier is hot right?” Joy asked.

“Yes, you’re right! What’s happening?” Laine agreed. The heavy rain started to drop.

“Shit! That’s a bad timing!” Charlie said irritated.

“Hey look!” Kaye said and we looked at what she’s pointing. The rain stops to fall. It’s like the time pause.

“Wait? What?” Simon frowned his eyes and look at the sky clearly. “Wait, am I hallucinating?” He asked.

“No, you’re not. We can also see it” Jun replied calmly. Our eyes widened when a hexagon pendant appeared and arise in the sky.

“What’s that thing? A toy?” Charlie asked. The hexagon pentagon went in our direction that makes other girls scared. Jun took it and it lights up. The surrounding became different than it used to be. It became magical.

The moon appeared even though it’s still noon.

“Welcome to San Jacinto” we reacted in thrilled when we heard a deep voice.

“Where’s that voice came?” Simon asked.

“I am Superior Master. You can call me SM if you want to and I am a guardian of the Exagono Mentagion.” He said.

“Guys tell me I am hallucinating again” I said.

“No, it’s true” Jun responded.

“I am true and don’t be afraid of me. I will be your guide in this journey. In order to get the golds in El Dorado, you must get your powers and defeat the supernatural species” He added.

“Wait, we have powers? I thought this is only existing in the movies?” Jun asked.

“Yes each on your group has their own unique powers. You can use them to defeat the other guards of El Dorado” Superior Master said.

“El Dorado has guards? Oh shit, we should not continue our plan” I said and I am supposed to go inside of the ship when Charlie pulled my hand.

“Why you’re helping us?” Laine asked.

“I was locked in the form I didn’t wish for. In order to break the spell of El Dorado’s guardians, you need to defeat them and I can finally come back to my planet and you will receive your golds as an exchange” Superior Master explained deeply. I got persuaded and interested. Woah, powers? I have powers?

“So how will we get our powers?” Minmin asked.

“It’s like a logic. You must define how” He answered.

“In the exagon metagion, there are nine badges that symbolizes your powers. As of now, it doesn’t light since you still don’t catch your powers yet but once you received yours, it will light” He added.

“Oh, interesting” Kaye replied.

“Your journey starts now. Good luck, fighters!” He said. The place remains magical and it doesn’t back to the ordinary one.

“I think we are dreaming” Charlie said and Minmin bite his arms.

“Aww!”

“See, you’re not dreaming!” he replied.

“Are we going to believe in him?” Kyle doubted.

“As far as I know, El Dorado isn’t only the city of gold. It’s city of different species including magic so we should believe SM” Jun responded.

“Really? Are you out of your mind? Are we toddlers who believes in magic?” Kyle asked and he laughed. A little later, an unexplainable giant species appeared. Its height is almost the height of a building.

“What was that?” Kaye asked unbelievably.

“Wait, this is not true. We’re just hallucinating” I interfered but the Giant almost attacked us.

“Shit! Our boat might be broken. Let’s go out here” Jun said and we followed him. He parked first the boat to a safe place before we leave. When we get in the ground, the giant started attacking us.

“Keep yourself safe!” Charlie yelled. The giant kicks a water going to us. It’s looks like a tsunami that will destroy anything.

“Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!” I shouted when I got hit by the water. Charlie helped me to get up.

“Are you okay?” He asked and I smiled at him as my answer.

“How we can defeat that?” Kyle asked annoyed. Everyone thinks deeply but the giant started attacking us. He pulled a tree and used it as a sword.

“What the heck!” Laine reacted. She went near the giant and started yelling. “What’s your problem huh? See, we don’t have our powers yet!” She screamed that make the giant upset.

“Laine, duck!!!” Joy shouted when the giant supposed to attacked Laine using the tree. Laine didn’t hear what Joy have said and she was hit by the giant that make her roll. We immediately went to her direction and supported her.

“Are you okay?” I asked and she nodded. I noticed that the exagon metagion lights up and turned into violet. Kaye instantly grabbed the pendant and raise it. A purple ball appeared and it went to Kaye’s direction.

“I think, that’s your super power badge, Caye” Jun said. The giant will attack us again but Kaye controlled the big rock and throw it to the giant’s spot that make it more upset.

“Woah, so it’s true!” Kyle praised when he witnessed what Kaye have done. The giant focus on Kaye.

“Take care, buddy!” Kyle screamed. The giant attacked Kaye but she waves her hands and she make a shield that was built using rocks.

“What’s her power?” Simon questioned.

“I think, power is her power” I answered.

“What?”

“What I mean is her power is about strength” I clarified. Kaye grabbed our attention as we saw her jump and punch the giant’s face that make lie down.

“Woah, you’re so strong!!!” Kyle praised again. The giant shuttered. He became dust and went inside of the pendant.

“That’s it? I am not satisfied!” Kyle said and Laine kick him.

“Well me, I am not satisfied” and she rolled her eyes while holding her face. I can see she’s in pain.

“Is my fault that you screamed to the giant? You still don’t have your powers so stop acting like a brave” Kyle added and Joy raised her middle finger to him. She started walking going to the ship and we followed her as well.

We got in the ship and Laine went straightly to our room and she lie down to the bed. “Are you okay, dear?” I asked her and sat beside her.

“Dear my ass. Yes, I’m okay but my body hurts so much” she replied. I saw her bruised that’s why I bring out immediately the first aid kit from the cabinet.

I put povidone iodone to her wound to make it heal fast. After it, I put bandage to make it secured.

“Tell me if you feel something painful, okay?” I asked her and she nodded. She closed her eyes as a sign of sleepiness. I decided to leave her alone so she could take rest. I went out of our room and I can see the boys having a meal without me...

While they’re busy eating, I can’t still believe what’s happening. Is this true? Or is this a long dream and we need to wake up soon. It’s unbelievable. I can only see this in fictional movies and now, I am in their situation.
