Stories About Ghost (Again)

There isn't anything. His sense of sight only saw an empty, dark room. Then, he moved his eyeballs in all directions, but he also found nothing. He still couldn't tell whether it was just a dream or reality. But if it's real, why is there no form of the owner of the voice?

"Was it just a dream?" he asked himself.

It feels like tonight time is running so slow. And worse, for Thomas, every second that goes is fear. The ghost's shadow seemed to be unforgettable from memory. That scary face seemed to have stuck tightly in Thomas's mind. He wanted to cry to pour out his feelings of fear and frustration tonight. But he realized that he was a man. Only weak men cry in these circumstances, and he doesn't want to be a part of it.

"If you are here, please don't disturb me. I want to sleep peacefully. I never bothered you. So don't mess with me! If you have something to say, just say it and then leave. Don't even bother!" Thomas said quietly.

He was very annoyed now. That's why the words just came out of his mouth. He does look very brave, but in truth, that cowardly nature is still attached to him. If only now the ghost appeared in front of him in a terrible form, surely Thomas would show an expression he had never shown before. Luckily, the ghost didn't show up. Maybe the ghost felt touched by the words spoken by Thomas, so he felt sorry if he had to keep bothering Thomas.

This morning Thomas woke up in a bad state. Not because he was bothered again by the ghost, but because he was the one who immediately imagined the ghost.

"Huh, damn it! Because of last night's incident, I'm still in the dark," he said.

"Ouch! Forgotten too. How will it be when I meet mom and dad?" he asked himself while scratching his head.

Yes, once again the incident last night was still haunting his mind. When he remembered it somehow even he who felt embarrassed. Even though his father and mother should be ashamed. But, I don't know. That's his thought. No one knows except himself.

Today he has to go to school. And exactly what he thought. When he and his father and mother had breakfast, there was a sudden silence. There is a clear difference from the previous days. It must be because of last night's incident.

Thomas felt both bad and embarrassed about it. If he had not seen the activity of unifying the heirlooms, perhaps events would not have come to this. Maybe it was only temporary, but somehow his heart felt uneasy.

"Erm... Dad, Mom?" Thomas called. He was actually a bit hesitant to start the conversation.

"Yes, Thomas. What's wrong?" asked her mother.

"Didn't mom and dad hear that crying last night?" asked Thomas.

His father and mother looked at each other, as if asking through eye signals. After that, the mother answered what Thomas asked.

"No. Mother did not hear," replied his mother.

"Maybe I'm the only one who heard it. But strangely, why does the ghost know my name?" he asked.

"Know your name how?"

"Last night when I just closed my eyes, I heard a woman's voice calling my name. I'm sure it's a ghost," said Thomas.

"Hmm... Maybe you're just too scared, Thomas. And you are so scared that you are hallucinating," said his mother.

Thomas clucked angrily. Even though he knew that his mother was only pretending not to believe it, but somehow he didn't like it. He himself is strange. He who initially always insisted on hiding his fear from anyone, now that he has met the ghost in person, he even openly shows his fear.

"Dad, don't go home too late, can you? If you can, before dusk, you have to go home. I'm afraid that the ghost will be in your car again," said Thomas.

"I don't think I can, Thomas. I'll still be home tonight," said his father.

"Huff ... I see, huh? Alright. But you always have to be careful. I don't want anything to happen to Dad," said Thomas.

"Hmm... Take it easy. I can take care of myself, really," said his father.

It's not a matter of believing or not believing. But this is a matter of concern. Even if his father was an international level wrestler, those worries would still exist. Because it is a feeling that comes naturally.

Yes, that's how a child feels. He knew the situation had been dire lately. That's why he wants the best for his father. But what can I do? He also could not force his father to comply with his request.

This morning he went to school. It turned out that when he was at school, many of his friends told him about ghost sightings. Yes, it just so happened that out of all of Thomas's classmates, many of them came from the same village.

"What's going on here?" Thomas asked.

"Agus is sick. He's not going to school now. He said last night he saw a ghost in the bathroom," replied Sendy.

There was a slight feeling of pride inside Thomas. His friend, Agus, has only seen him once and has fallen ill, while he who was constantly disturbed by the ghost last night is proof that he is still fine. However, after that he dismissed such thoughts, and replaced with resentment towards the ghosts that terrorized his village.

"Cih, again the ghost," said Thomas.

"Yes. Actually, it's not just Agus. See, Nana also saw the ghost last night," said Sendy.

"I thought I was the only one being visited," said Thomas.

"Ha? You saw the ghost too?"

"Yes. More precisely staring directly from a very close distance," said Thomas.

"Hiii ... What's the story?"

"So…" Thomas trailed off.

"Ouch, dammit! I'm dying to piss. I'll tell you the story later," said Thomas as he walked away.

"Woi. Be careful! Maybe now he's also in the toilet. Hahaha," said Sendy. Thomas ignored him.

He wasn't kidding. He really had the urge to pee. It seems to have reached the top. That's why he immediately ran to the school toilet to relieve himself.

Tok! Tok! Tok!

"Yes, just a moment. There are still people," said Thomas.

He's so annoyed. Then he quickly finished his business of urinating as he immediately opened the door to let the knocker enter. However, something surprising happened. Turns out there was no one there. he wondered. Who was knocking on the door?
