18. Trouble in paradise

I don't know how long I've been here but i never want to leave.

The girl who dragged me into the party gave me a drink and cheered me on while I rode on one of the bikes in the arcade. The whole place was doused in energy and the smell of sweat as everyone danced away their problems. It was a euphoric feeling where nothing else mattered. I didn't care for my name or her name or anyone else for that matter. It was a good day to party indeed.

With a big smile on plastered on my face, i navigate the arcade and the party. Someone throws an arm over my shoulder and i turn to the man.

“You need to leave” he says.

“Leave? Why would i want to leave paradise?“ The words leave a sour taste in my mouth but I still don't want to leave. If I'm being honest, i don't even remember which way is the exit. “Everything is so bright and beautiful here”

He grabs my arm and starts pulling me away from the crowd.
