Good Upbringing

Lucas and Lucy woke up after an hour. They had a good nap and felt refreshed. Lucy rubbed her eyes a little and asked her mother

"Mama, what happened?" She asked in a sleepy state about what happened that made her fall asleep so suddenly.

Leya didn't understand what Lucy was asking. She said in a confused tone

"About what, baby?"

Lucy stopped rubbing her eyes and looked at her mother and said

"Why did I fall asleep suddenly?"

Leya understood and chuckled at Lucy's question. She patted her head and said with a smile

"I don't know either, baby. Once I picked you up, you fell asleep on your own.

Fufufu…I think it must be because you felt too relaxed in my arms."

"Mama, that shouldn't happen. We all came here after breakfast. We woke up umm, a few…hours ago? How can I be sleepy then?"

Leya tried to twist the truth and reason with Lucy but underestimated the intellect of her own kids and failed in reasoning.

Leya chuckled once again at how perceptive Lucy was. She said patting her head

"I haven't done the goodluck ceremony yet. Your brother fell asleep midway and the ceremony didn't happen.

Come, let's do the ceremony now. Instead of doing it separately, let's do it at once."

Leya changed the topic and got up after saying that. She held Lucas and Lucy's hands and walked with them for a few minutes and arrived at a random spot in the barrier she made.

She made the two stand together and started inscribing a magic circle on the ground. While she was doing it, Lucy gazed at her brother standing beside her.

Lucy was feeling a weird sense of closeness to Lucas. She didn't know why she was feeling such things all of a sudden but since it wasn't anything bad or harmful to her, she decided to drop the matter about it.

Lucas too felt a strange closeness to his mother and sister standing beside him. Like Lucy, he too had no idea as to why this was happening and since it was not a bad but a good feeling, he decided to drop the matter too.

Lucy held Lucas's hand and waited for her mother to start with the goodluck ceremony. Lucas too waited patiently. He was currently thinking of what happened a few moments ago.

He was asked to stand in the middle of some inscriptions on the ground and close his eyes but the next thing he knew, he was woke up in his mother's lap. He was about question his mother for it but Lucy beat him to it.

He didn't interrupt his sister and waited for his turn to ask his mother but Leya didn't give him any opportunities to do so and dragged both of them for the so called goodluck ceremony. She finished inscribing on the ground and went towards Lucas and Lucy.

The inscriptions weren't as large as the one she inscribed before. They were small and were present in the form a circle around a radius of a metre with Lucas and Lucy as center.

Leya stood in front of her children and muttered a chant and then hit Lucas and Lucy's head with the side of her palm gently. The inscriptions below lit up when Leya did such an action and Lucas and Lucy could see it clearly.

"Waah, so amazing!" Lucy said noticing the inscriptions glowing beneath her feet.

"Yes, it looks amazing." Lucas added from the side with a happy smile.

Leya chuckled at their reactions. The magic circle she inscribed this time was just meant to illuminate and then disappear. It's role was to be a little flashy, that's it.

She enjoyed their cute reaction and once the glow from the magic circle was gone, she picked both of them up and cradled them in her embrace. She smiled and said

"You wanted to see how we reached here right?"

Lucas and Lucy both nodded their head hurriedly. Leya let out a soft chuckle once again and said

"Then watch clearly, okay?"

She took a step ahead, instantly vanishing from her spot. The barrier she made broke upon her leave too and the core area of Gilmer forest returned to normal.

…..

Astaroth household, Levyne district.

"WAAAH!"

"WOW!"

Lucy and Lucas yelled in amazement respectively. They were thrilled and amazed by the magic their mother performed. At one moment they were in the forest and now they were back at home, this was simply mind boggling to them.

Even in the tv they had rarely seen anyone teleport and now experiencing for themselves, it was an experience they would never forget.

Lucas, holding his mother by her neck, looked at her and said excitedly

"Mama, please do it again."

"Yes, yes, one more time please!" Lucy said in the same excited manner.

Leya chuckled at their cute behaviour and took a step ahead to fulfill their request. She reached the bedroom this time which was on the second floor.

"SO AMAZING!"

"SO COOL!"

Lucy and Lucas couldn't contain their excitement and yelled out again. Leya smiled and was happy watching her kids enjoy this small show she put up for them.

"Mama, once more please!"

Lucy said happily this time. Lucas looked at his mother intently with visible anticipation on his face.

Leya couldn't deny their requests and shook her head helplessly. It seemed that her children had found a new toy to play with and that was her, their mother who teleported from one place to another. She teleported into various areas of her house a few times and arrived back at the bedroom. She put the kids down and said to them

"That's about it for today, okay? You have to study and also practice sword. Only half a day has passed and we have a lot of time on hand. Come, let me change your clothes."

The two nodded their head and let their mother change their clothes. Leya then held their hands and walked downstairs to the backyard to practice the sword with Lucas and Lucy.

They practiced the basic sword movements and then had lunch together. They rested for a bit and then went back to duel with their mother one on one. The training was over after an hour when Lucas and Lucy were exhausted.

Leya picked them up and went to the bath. She cleaned them up and let them go sit in the bathtub while she washed herself up.

Lucy, like always, acted like an older sister and sat in the bathtub hugging Lucas from behind. There wasn't too big of a time difference between Lucas and Lucy's birth.

Leya knew about it when she first held Lucas. She had checked his bone age and judging from that, Lucas was born probably within a few minutes or a maximum of half an hour after Lucy's birth. Thus, she considered Lucas as the younger one among the two and made Lucy as his older twin sister.

The two never had any idea that one of them was adopted and they would never come to know about it as it was a secret known to only person and that being Leya, their mother herself.

Lucas turned his head and said to Lucy with a happy smile

"Mama is so cool! I want to do magic like her and become like her one day!"

Lucy giggled softly and ruffled Lucas's head. She said with a smile

"Yes, yes. Mama is very cool and I too want to become like her one day! Let's both try our best, okay?"

Lucas nodded his head hurriedly and then said with a smirk

"Big sis, you need to work hard or I'll leave you behind just like how I did in training today, hehe!"

Lucas did better in the one on one duel today and got a compliment from his mother. Lucy on the other hand didn't get any and so Lucas considered it a small win against his older sister and mentioned about it to her now.

Lucy pulled Lucas's cheeks and said pouting her face

"The lunch in the middle made me feel sluggish, I'll ensure it never happens again and win against you next time!"

Lucas giggled this time and kissed Lucy on her lips. He turned, hugged her and laid his head on her shoulder and said closing his eyes

"Yes! Do your best, big sis."

Leya had taught them good manners. Although they seemed to be rivals, they didn't pull each other down and uplifted one another and only felt happy when the other was doing better. Although Lucas was only five in age, due to Leya's good upbringing, he was very well mannered and so was Lucy.

Lucy kissed Lucas on his lips too and hugged him back. Ever since Lucas and Lucy realised that kissing on the lips meant showing they loved each other, they did it more than often to show their concern and love for one another.

The two stayed in such a hugging position until their mother arrived. Leya looked at them and teased

"Ara, it seems you two are enjoying your time together without mama."

The two heard their mother's teasing and didn't mind it. They seperated and gave Leya the way to come in between them, which Leya followed and they hugged her from the sides and suckled milk from her breasts like they did everyday.

Leya caressed their hair gently and patiently waited for them to sleep. She was very happy today for all the things that happened and she naturally could hear whatever Lucas and Lucy were talking about. She felt even more happy knowing her children were having a healthy competition together.

After a while, Lucas and Lucy fell asleep in their mother's embrace after being full. Leya picked them up gently and took a step. She reached the bedroom and then taking another step, got all of them dried. She slept with Lucas and Lucy together once again like she did everyday.
