CHAPTER 86
Eric told Leher he wanted to meet his dad. Leher asked Parul, and then a meeting was arranged.

The meeting spot was a church.

While the pastor expounded on the verse, ‘No one who abides in him sins; no one who sins has either seen him or known him,’ Eric found Parul and sat next to him.

Parul looked much weaker than the last time he saw him. “How are you feeling, Dad?”

“To be honest, I didn’t think I’d see you again,” Parul replied with a rigid face. “What wind blew for you to beg Leher that you wanted to see me?”

“I want 100 million,” Eric didn’t beat around the bush.

“If it’s to buy a bigger jet than your sister, then give up.”

Eric frowned. “Why?”

“Being her elder brother, you should set her a good example,” Parul said.

“I will, but not this time, Dad,” Eric reasoned. “Just this once, help me teach her a lesson.”

Parul slowly turned his head and looked at Eric. “Like how you taught Debora a lesson?”

Eric’s expression froze. His throat got stuck. He couldn’t speak anymore.
