Werewolves (1)

Dark shadows crept from the woods toward the house, taking care not to tip off the prey they had come to collect. The shadows growled softly as they moved, taking precedence before they lay up beside the door and listened.

It was silent inside. There was no spoon clanking, neither was there any noise being made. Perhaps he had already gone to sleep? That would make it overly better and easier for them to do their job. The shadows retreated as a large one suddenly hurled towards the door and knocked it down.

The door came down with a loud bang, making the little girl inside jump up and help. But when she saw the true form of the shadows, she screamed even more. They stood like men but they were actually wolves. They were large and had long sharp claws, and the black fur which covered their skin seemed like it had been soaked in something oily.
