"I'm not just gonna sneak into the Roth's Tower and get information, am I?" George asked as he realized he had been duped.
Agent Jefferson smiled, "That's basically what you are gonna do. But, you will have to do a couple of things to get to that part." He replied as he started collecting information on the computer.
George sighed and closed his before staring at Agent Jefferson, "Just give me the mission..." He said while sitting on the floor.
Agent Jefferson stopped using the computer and turned to George, "That's the spirit! Now would you help me to just open that drawer?" He muttered while pointing at the drawer on top.
George stood and rolled his eyes, "Sure." He responded before opening the drawer and as he did, a body fell out of the drawer and fell to the ground. "Oh shit!!! Why the hell is there a body in there?!" He shouted before he saw the face of the man who drop out of the drawer, "And isn't that Dick McConnell? The Senator?" He asked as he looked at him in shock.
"Yeah, you will be pretending to be him." Agent Jefferson replied calmly.
"Isn't this illegal?" George asked as he started sweating.
in
"Don't be silly, we are the government, all government does illegal stuff. And don't worry, the senator isn't dead. We just knocked him out with an undetectable drug. Now bring him here to me." Agent Jefferson said while gesturing for George to drag the Senator to him.
After George dragged the Senator, Agent Jefferson held the senator by the head and took out a camera scanning the face of the senator. As he did that, one of the metallic spheres in the van started turning into the shape of the Senator's face. A thick rubber-like substance slowly then came out of the holes that were embedded into the sphere and covered the whole thing.
The color of the rubber was hot red but eventually turned into the color of the Senator's skin. It was a hairless mask that looked exactly like the Senator. Agent Jefferson then pulled out the rubber mask and stuck fake eyebrows and hair on the mask making the mask look more identical to the Senator. "Holy shit, that thing looks terrifyingly real..." George commented while pointing at the mask.
"Yeah, it needs to be." Agent Jefferson replied while handing George the mask. "This technology is still in its early stages, it looks exactly like the senator, but it is very fragile, so dont accidentally scratch it." He added while handing George a small chip.
George looked at the chip with curiosity and raised his eyebrow, "What's this?" He asked.
"That is a Voice Altering Chip, just stick it on your neck and you should be able to sound just like McConnel here." Agent Jefferson responded.
George took the chip and stuck it on his neck just like a sticker, "Uhm, oh Gosh, my voice sounds so dull..." He said sounding exactly like Dick McConnel.
"Now put on the mask, and keep the slouched back." Agent Jefferson said while taking the Senator's id from his pocket and giving it to George. "Make sure you dont talk too much with the other politicians. Dont forget your mission." He added while giving to George a briefcase, "And you will need this briefcase. Don't ever let this briefcase in another person's hands. If you get caught, the mission will be over, and you will be immediately disavowed by the American government." He continued while George was putting on the mask.
The backdoor of the van opened, and George walked out of it making sure nobody is there. "I will talk to you through your micro earphones. Give me an update every 5 minutes, okay?" He asked.
"Of course," George replied as he started walking towards the building.
He could see the most expensive cars being parked here, and military trucks parked around the gate with the place crowded with journalists taking pictures of celebrities, "I thought this was a military convention?" He asked.
"Well, since it involves the most advance technology of our generation, those wealthy elites are welcomed as well." Agent Jefferson replied through the micro earphones.
As George got closer to the gate, the journalist started focusing their attention on George who was pretending to be the Senator, but before they could even get close to him, the guards walked and blocked them from nearing him, "Senator, please follow us. Brad Roth has prepared seats for you and the other Senators." The muscular guard said.
George nodded, "Bring me there then." He said.
---
As he was escorted into the building he was amazed by the luxury and the beauty inside, the chandelier made out of the rarest crystals imaginable, the floor made out of marble and strips of gold, and the staff there was using clothing that was worth more than his entire house. "Focus, Corporal. You will want to get to the toilet first." Agent Jefferson reminded.
"Yeah," George whispered before turning to the guard behind him. "Where is the restroom?" He asked.
"Follow me, Senator." The guard said while walking towards the restroom. As they arrived the guard turned to George, "This is the restroom, Brad Roth has assigned one guard to protect one Senator, so I will be outside if you need any help." He continued before looking at the bag that the Senator was carrying, "And do you need me to help you with that bag?" He asked.
"It is fine," George replied as he entered the restroom.
"I'm at the restroom," George informed Agent Jefferson while putting the briefcase on the golden sink table.
"Great! Remember, the device that I used to scan the Senator's face? That scanner is in the briefcase, and you will need to kill the nearest guard that you can find, and steal their identity." Agent Jefferson continued.
Upon hearing this, George face palmed himself, "Oh gosh, if I have to kill then I am in trouble. I didn't bring my gun." He said this while looking at the door, where the muscular guard was stationed.

Chapter 56: D.C Manoeuvre
The Ginjets flew over the vast sea while the soldiers were looking at their sea scanning radar to find any signs of strange movement that might hint at the movement of the submarine. "Any signs?" General Howard asked while pacing back and forth, his mind racing with possibilities of what Jordan might be planning. "Sir, we have contacted the National Reconnaissance Office. They will be checking for any visible signs of the enemy when they go on land, but for now, we don't have any." "Think! There must be some way to find them; if they are using a nuclear-powered submarine, then there must be a way that we can somehow find them through scanning nuclear energy nearby." "Sir, the whole base was filled with nuclear waste… We won't be able to find them… the nuclear waste has been spreaded out.” Howard punched the window, nearly breaking it, and could feel his heart beating with his stomach aching in anxiety; as he looked at his watch, he could see that it was 14:00. He didn't know what
Chapter 55: Sea Base Part 2
“Sir, we are ready. We are waiting for your orders.” General Howard looked down upon the sea base, “They must be scared… None of them are outside….” “Perhaps they thought that we would be attacking them directly?” One of the strategists responded while looking at the base using her binoculars before seeing a figure in one of the doors. “I see someone peeking at us… It seems that they really think that we will be going for a direct attack.” “Well, that’s for the best then. Destroy them.” He ordered just loud enough for all of them to hear. As the soldiers prepared to drop the heavy explosives on the sea base, the strategist could see the figure that was peeking at them from the sea base, entering and hiding back at the sea base. That figure to be exact, was Major Ivan. “Ivan, so what’s the condition outside?” “Not good. They are going to blow this place up. We should leave right now. We might have only 2 minutes max.” General Jordan sighed in relief as the both of them continued
Chapter 54: Sea Base
"Where are they!?" The former Colonel, now turned Four Star General Howard screamed at the soldiers. "Satellites indicate they are in the Sea Base, Sir!" "Sea Base?" The Colonel paused before his phone rang. "General Howard?" Another General, who had more badges on his chest, walked towards him as he tried talking. "Wait." Howard pulled out his phone before answering it. His whole stature and persona that fit a strong and harsh leader had changed to a more respectful one, "Yes, sir?" He answered in a very polite tone, a vast difference from the one that he used not long ago. Everyone there stood quiet; they knew who General Howard was talking to. In fact, the news broke out that some unknown entity within the UN had promoted Howard for some unknown reason. And the other 37 Generals who had a position similar to the one he recently had all been demoted to Lower 4 Star General to increase the status and the authority that Howard received. But this information had been made priva
Chapter 53: Flying Part 2
The pilot pulled back on his controls, ascending the plane to its maximum altitude. "Come on!" the pilot shouted, straining to align the plane directly above the sky. The metal covering the aircraft shook intensely, compressed by the high-speed flight. Seated in the co-pilot's chair, the Major was covered in the blood of the deceased co-pilot, his seatbelt securely fastened. The g-force pulled everyone's skin back, giving them the appearance of aging by four decades. Some even fainted due to the force. The pilot glanced at the fuel gauge, anticipating the low fuel level. With the slow leakage and the maneuvers performed, it was no surprise that their fuel was running low so early. Turning to his left, the pilot checked on the condition of the Major. The Major held onto his seatbelt tightly, struggling to communicate with the pilot through distorted mouth movements, saying, "Wha... ah ... we... asen?" "What?" the pilot asked, attempting to decipher the Major's message. But befor
Chapter 52: Flying Part 1
"We're here, General." The pilot announced as he saw the land where they were set their base again. The sleek military planes descended gracefully, their wings slicing through the air as they touched down upon the rugged expanse of the Texas land base. The pilots then manoeuvred their aircraft, bringing them to a halt, As the dust settled and the engines powered down, the pilot looked towards his co-pilot before seeing a glim of light right behind his head. Before the window behind his co-pilot shattered, a bullet shot through his head, causing his whole body to turn lifeless and drop to the ground. The pilot quickly ducked before taking his microphone," Take cover. We are being attacked!!!" "Not here too?!" The General shouted as he peeked out of the window and could see soldiers hiding and blending into the environment; if it weren't for the light that was reflecting from their scope, he would have never known that they were there. "Sir, do we attack??!" Major Ivan ran towards
Chapter 51: Impossible
The commissioner's hand trembled as he heard General Jordan's voice instead of General Damien's. "Sir... Where's General Damien?" Beep... General Jordan abruptly ended the call, leaving the commissioner dumbfounded. He slumped into his chair, scanning the room in search of answers. It was inconceivable that General Jordan's army could have defeated the soldiers under the command of the highly esteemed 5th Star General. They weren't even prepared for a fight. "What the hell happened...?" He glanced at the phone directory once more, searching for another number. He dialled the guard's phone, which he had borrowed. "Colonel Howard... I think General Damien might be dead." The Colonel froze, disbelief etched on his face as he looked at the commissioner, shrouded in darkness. He whispered into the phone, "Is that really you, Commissioner?" "Yeah, it's me. My damn phone broke, so I'm using this one for now. But listen, there's a good chance General Damien is dead." "Come on, Commission
Chapter 50: Only Jordan
Astentstein quickly retrieved a small smartphone from his pocket, only to find its screen shattered. "Damn it!" he exclaimed, hurling the phone to the ground as he rushed out of his room, ensuring that George and Ivan were nowhere in sight. "Sir, should we stop the Major and Corporal from leaving?" one of the guards asked, observing the Commissioner's panicked state. "Forget about them. Do you have a phone?" Astentstein inquired. The guard nodded, searching his pockets until he produced a small smartphone. He unlocked it and handed it to the Commissioner. Astentstein snatched the phone and swiftly navigated to the call application. Pulling out a small booklet from his back pocket, he located a number he had written down and dialed it. As he pressed the call button, he approached the window, hoping to catch a glimpse of General Jordan. However, the only figures in sight were the Major, the Corporal, and the remaining soldier still aboard the plane. "Where the hell are you, Jordan?"
Chapter 49: Fight With Damien Part 4
George's eyes opened, his mind still throbbing from the overwhelming influx of information. He glanced at his watch, noting that it was only 6 o'clock. Just as he prepared to rise from his bed, a knock came at the door. "Major, I'm awake," George called out. The door swung open, revealing the figure of Major Ivan. "You recognized it was me; did you foresee it again?" he asked, a hint of exhaustion in his voice. George nodded, and the Major let out a sigh. "When will we have a day where we can simply survive without complications?" "I need you to convince the General to change his plan. Some things can't be fixed even with my ability," George implored. Major Ivan nodded in agreement. "Funny you should mention that. I was actually on my way to his office. Care to join me?" Rubbing his temples to alleviate the pounding headache, George replied, "Sure, just give me five minutes." "Take your time. Meet me outside when you're ready," Ivan said, leaving the room and closing the door be
Chapter 48: Fight With Damien Part 3
George stood firmly in front of Damien, his body tense with anticipation. It was the second time he had experienced this day, and he knew exactly what moves Damien would execute. Yet, even armed with this knowledge, George couldn't shake the feeling of inferiority that washed over him. He still felt small, weak, and utterly unaware of the circumstances surrounding him. But George couldn't afford to dwell on these thoughts. Failure was not an option, for if he faltered now, he would be forced to relive the entire day using his time loop abilities. Fatigue weighed on George's mind, though it didn't manifest in his physical form. It was evident in his eyes, which carried the weariness of experiencing the same events twice over. With determination fueling his every move, George launched a punch towards Damien. Yet, just as he predicted, Damien effortlessly sidestepped the attack, evading it as he had done before. Undeterred by his missed punch, George unleashed a rapid series of strike
