Edward's - [P.O.V]

Ding!

Goes the bell as I stood in front of the door waiting for it to be opened. A young fully shaped and average height looking lady opened the door.

"Greetings Mr. Omega." The rogue attendant said.

I was shocked.

The Quantum of disrespect!

"Are you mad!?" I was getting pissed off.

She dared to call me an Omega?

In other words, trying to say I'm a weak wolf.

"Sorry sir, Madam asked me to call you that, please how can I help you?" She added.

"You stand there asking me how you can help me in my own house?... You must be kidding me." I said angrily.

"I'm sorry sir, I didn't know." She said.

"Well now you do, come here." I responded, knowing that she was new and easily manipulated by my toxic mate.

"Where is my son?" I added.

"I think he's playing up stairs, sir." She said.

"You think?" I asked angrily, glaring at her.

I went up the stairs to Mason's room and found him lying on the door helplessly struggling with his breathing so badly. I was in total shock to see Mason lying helplessly on the floor. I picked him up and I rushed straight to the car.

"Oh my… What happened sir?" The maid asked.

"Don't ask me stupid questions now, just get my car keys on the table!" I yelled.

I got the keys, layed Mason at the back seat and drove off as fast as I could.

"Don't worry, okay, everything will be fine." I said, taking a quick glance at my son as I headed straight to the nearest Sherman hospital.

Fifteen minutes had passed and after a quick second we reached a traffic jam.

"No no no… not today!" I said in a sad expression.

At this Moment I felt my body tearing apart.

My wolf was beginning to roar inside of me.

What am I going to do now?

My son needs a witch Sherman's touch.

"The hospital is still half a mile from here." I said, honking and hitting my head on the steering wheel as my wolf kept begging to creep out.

I looked around and found a road in the woods by the roadside, one that looked very familiar to the one I used to follow to school during my teen years and it gave me a good idea.

"Maybe that road will get the tickets to the hospital quicker." My wolf winks at me

Without any hesitation I came out of the car.

"Awoo!" I howled, transforming into my wolf self with Mason in my arms, and ran through the traffic jam, and then through the woods.

I continued my journey to the sherman hospital on foot as fast as I could run.

Mason had already passed out minutes ago and so this got me scared to the core.

I ran and ran through the bushes until I finally saw the end part of the road and then I sighed in exhaustion. Mason began to struggle again.

I began to panic thinking the worst.

I continued to run until I saw the hospital gate, then I began to yell for the witches.

Three witches came running with a bed as they took him from my arms and laid him on the bed pushing him to the patient warde.

I stood reminiscing about all that had happened and fear filled up my body. I began to pray to the moon goddess that my son will be alright.

After a while the sherman came.

I was so glad he finally came out.

"Tell me, What happened to my son? How's he now? I trust he's better now right?... How soon can he be discharged?" I asked hastily.

"Calm down your wolf, according to the tests we ran on him we discovered that your son has a rare wolf blood poison that has affected his heart and he will need to perform the moon day ritual immediately to take the poisoned blood out, but we can start with his heart surgery." the sherman said.

I felt my world crashing down as I heard the doctor's words.

"Okay then, please carry on doing the ritual." I said in tears.

"Unfortunately, I can't do that.'' the doctor responded.

"Sherman, why… Not?" I asked.

"His treatment costs $300,000 but a down payment of at least $150,000 before I can perform any kind of treatment on your son."

I stood speechless, thinking of what to do, then it hit me, my savings had reached $350,000 already meaning I could pay the hospital bills.

"Sherman, start the operation please. I beg of you, I'm going home right now to get the payment in full." I said as I hurriedly ran back home.

On Reaching home I rushed straight to my room scattering through the cupboard.

I remembered I had kept it in the wardrobe.

I searched and found the envelope in which the money was empty.

Heading down stairs I saw my wife Celine. Who was about to say something when I interrupted.

"Where is the money!?" I yelled.

"Calm down your wolf daddy…" She said.

"I said, where is the money Celine?" I yelled in anger and frustration.

I could tell she got a little frightened from the tune of my voice but I couldn't care less.

All I could think of was my son and getting the money for his treatment.

"I know I didn't tell you but my car needed some upgrading and so I used the money to get a new car… isn't she beautiful…" She asked, looking at the car and smiling like a confused puppet.

"You used $350,000 to upgrade a car!" I said furiously and without thinking.

"Yes I did, and so what!?" She slams at me.

"You must be insane, aren't we mates?" I asked.

"Pow!" She storms a slap at me.

"I deserve a better wolf, don't you think?" She added, shocking me.

"You used a whole $350,000 to upgrade your car Celine… When your son is in the hospital fighting for his life and you just used the money I was going to use to fix a car." I said breaking.

"Yes, I did! You're all worthless!" She added.

"Arh!" I angrily raised my hand and landed a light touch of my palm to her cheek, breathing out, and she acted up immediately.

"I didn't slap you though." I defended myself.

"Edward, so a low rated beta like you… dared to raise your hand against me!?" She said.

I turned the other way without altering a word.

"Look at me!" She screamed at me.

"Pow!" She landed a claw slap to my chest.

I turned in pain and misery to stare at her.

She was in her wolf demon form.

"I reject you as my mate!" Celine fires at him.
