Massive tremors rippled through the obsidian floor of the underwater temple. Axel glared sharply at the water dome directly above him. The impossibly massive black shadow descended slowly. It parted the murky seawater and revealed its true form beneath the dim light of the temple's marble.

This was not just an ordinary sea monster. This was a living natural disaster.

Its shape resembled a gargantuan sea dragon. However, its body was covered entirely in pitch-black scales as thick as tectonic plates. The absolute size of the monster was completely insane. Its mouth alone was large enough to swallow the entire Horizon Apartment complex in a single bite. Its glowing reddish-yellow eyes were exactly the size of a football stadium. They stared coldly down at the tiny temple where Axel stood.

The system's voice chimed loudly inside Axel's head. A flashing red screen instantly filled his entire field of vision.

[Critical Warning! Level 6 Mutant Detected: Ancient Leviathan!]
[Threat Category: Continental Annihilator!]
[Status: Awakened by a massive cosmic energy surge. Highly Aggressive!]

Thalassa had only just sworn her absolute loyalty. She immediately stood right beside Axel. The Ocean Queen's face remained incredibly pale, yet her eyes radiated absolute resolve. "Master Axel, this Leviathan is a creature from an era long before humanity even existed. The Khamul meteor must have corrupted its life core entirely and transformed it into a mindless mutant monster."

"So basically he is just an oversized aquatic zombie?" Axel asked. He casually twirled the Ocean Conqueror's Trident in his hand.

"This is absolutely no joke, Sir!" Thalassa warned frantically. "Its skin cannot be pierced by any magic or weapon in this world. Even the Trident in your hand might not be able to cleave through its ancient, diamond-hard scales."

Valerie, Maya, and Seraphina took several steps backward. Their typically sharp combat instincts were completely dulled by overwhelming terror. Fighting zombies or a military army was one thing. However, facing a monster the exact size of a metropolitan city at the bottom of an oceanic trench completely shattered their mental fortitude.

"Valerie, do you still want to shoot that monster with your plasma rifle?" Axel asked, turning his head with a teasing smile.

Valerie swallowed hard. She looked at her plasma rifle and then stared back at the stadium-sized eyes of the monster. "Boss, my rifle bullets are not even bigger than a booger to that monster. If I shoot, he will just feel exactly like he is getting picked by a toothpick."

Axel chuckled softly. "A highly excellent answer. You three, stay perfectly hidden behind me."

The Leviathan finally roared.

The roar did not sound like any living animal. It sounded exactly like the violent screeching of colossal metal plates grinding against one another. The sonic wave generated by that roar instantly caused the seawater above the temple to churn violently. The water dome sustained by Axel's power began to ripple aggressively.

The giant monster had absolutely no intention of attacking using its physical body. Its reddish-yellow eyes narrowed. It locked onto the temple and everyone inside as a dense energy source that needed to be completely obliterated.

Slowly, the Leviathan's massive jaw stretched incredibly wide open.

The view inside its mouth looked exactly like staring directly into the crater of an active volcano. A blinding reddish-blue light began to gather deep within its throat. The surrounding seawater was suddenly sucked straight into the giant maw at an insane speed. It created a colossal whirlpool shaped exactly like a horizontal tornado.

"It is inhaling the seawater!" Maya screamed, pointing upward with a violently trembling hand.

Thalassa widened her eyes in pure horror. "It is not just seawater! It is absorbing the pure ambient energy from this entire trench! It is preparing to fire the Breath of Ruin!"

Deep inside the Leviathan's mouth, a plasma energy sphere the exact size of a skyscraper began to materialize. The concentrated energy crackled violently, emitting fierce, wild lightning bolts in every direction. The immense heat generated by that energy sphere caused the surrounding seawater to instantly boil and evaporate into massive bubbles.

Axel narrowed his eyes, analytically evaluating the surging energy. He could feel exactly how incredibly dense the power currently being gathered by the monster truly was. If that plasma sphere was fired, the resulting explosion would not merely vaporize this temple. The massive shockwave would pierce straight up to the ocean surface and trigger a colossal tsunami that would completely wipe out half of the Eldoria Continent.

"Master Axel, we must create a portal or find a way to escape right now!" Thalassa pleaded, desperately pulling at Axel's sleeve. "If that energy explodes, we will all be instantly pulverized into atomic dust!"

"Escape?" Axel scoffed softly. "I am the new emperor who just officially conquered this ocean, Thalassa. If I run away on my very first day on the job, what would my subordinates say about me?"

Axel took a single, solid step forward. The tip of the Ocean Conqueror's Trident in his hand began to radiate a blindingly bright blue light. It resonated perfectly with the Absolute Water Control skill actively flowing through his veins. He stared dead straight at the rapidly expanding energy sphere inside the Leviathan's mouth.

Suddenly, the communicator in Axel's ear beeped loudly with absolute panic.

Scarlett's usually calm voice now sounded incredibly hysterical. Up in the Floating City hovering thousands of meters directly above them, every single radar screen and security sensor flashed a glaring, warning red.

"Boss! Can you hear me?!" Scarlett shrieked with ragged breaths. "The fortress sensors are detecting a completely illogical energy surge originating exactly from your position! The firing trajectory of that monster is aimed dead straight vertically upward!"

Axel pressed the earpiece in his ear. "I can see it perfectly well from down here, Scarlett. Why the sudden panic? Our fortress shield has already been fully upgraded."

"That is exactly the problem!" Scarlett replied in a tone of pure despair. "That monster's energy output is the direct equivalent of ten nuclear missiles combined! If it fires straight up, the plasma beam will pierce directly through the ocean and slam right into our city!"

On Scarlett's monitor screen, the tactical simulation clearly indicated that the Leviathan's blast would violently cleave the ocean in two. It would pierce the atmosphere and completely obliterate the Floating City along with every single one of its inhabitants without a single trace.

The Leviathan down below opened its mouth even wider. The devastating plasma sphere had finally reached its absolute saturation point, fully prepared to be unleashed. Its light was so blindingly intense that the pitch-black ocean floor was now illuminated as brightly as broad daylight.

"Boss! The shield energy of the Floating City up here will absolutely not be enough to withstand a laser beam of that massive magnitude! We have to evacuate right now!" Scarlett screamed frantically through the communicator.

The brilliant sunlight that should have illuminated the Earth and the Icarus Base was now completely eclipsed by a gargantuan black silhouette. It only radiated an aura of pure dark matter that violently distorted the very fabric of space surrounding it.Inside Axel's protective lightning bubble, the temperature plummeted below freezing. This was not due to the chill of outer space, but originated purely from the absolute terror radiating from Stella's body. The silver-haired girl collapsed to her knees on the station's iron floor. Her brilliant purple eyes widened completely, perfectly reflecting the shadow of the gargantuan doomsday ship. Her breathing came in short, ragged gasps."Those are The Harvesters," Stella whispered, her voice trembling violently. "The Harvesting Armada. Your AI calculati

For ordinary humans, this was an inescapable death sentence. But Axel Edward was absolutely not an ordinary human."Anya, turn off those red lights. They are blinding," Axel commanded casually while slicing the remaining wagyu beef on his plate. "Change them to green. We are not waiting for the apocalypse. We are simply waiting for a delivery of building materials to arrive."The room lights returned to normal. The goddesses sitting around the dining table exchanged knowing glances. They were completely accustomed to their boss's insane level of confidence."Boss," Scarlett spoke up, tapping rapidly on her tablet screen. "If we are going to fight aliens in outer space, the Floating City cannot just hover inside the Earth's atmosphere. We must transform this city into a Space Fortress. I urgen

He could feel a brand new power coursing through his blood vessels. The Cloning System fragment he had just stolen felt perfectly integrated with his Infinity Rebate."Master Axel," Elena stepped closer with extreme caution. Her beautiful face was still slightly pale from Zark's chokehold, yet her eyes sparkled with profound relief. She held a glass tube filled with a crystal-clear blue liquid. "This is the anti-Khamul virus vaccine serum I successfully perfected last night. This vaccine can revert early-stage zombies back into humans and completely eradicate the airborne virus.

He believed with absolute certainty that no matter how immensely powerful Axel was, the man would never allow his beloved woman to die."How about it, Axel?" The air inside the underwater temple felt completely frozen. Axel Edward's fury detonated in a highly lethal silence. His eyes, radiating brilliant silver-white lightning, narrowed sharply. Yet his words echoed with highly terrifying clarity. "Come closer."The four women immediately gathered around Axel without asking a single question.
