Djanu curled his lips into a thin grin and prepared to throw his punch. However, in a split second, Alex had already caught his wrist.

And then....

“Fighting in the classroom? Do you still have any respect for me as your lecturer?”

A young man with a slightly muscular build, dressed neatly, entered the classroom together with Zonia.

Abel’s jaw stiffened. Djanu’s and even Ruyan’s expressions froze. For some reason, every time they were about to beat Alex, someone always appeared to stop them.

“Alex… once again, you’re truly lucky,” Abel said coldly. “But once you step outside campus grounds, I’ll continue this matter.”

Abel signaled Djanu to back off. Yet Alex’s grip was terrifyingly strong—like iron shackles that could only be unlocked with a special key.

“W–Why…?” Djanu choked out.

Alex suddenly released his grip and shoved Djanu aside.

“I’ll be waiting for that time to come.”

He sat down in the seat provided. Unexpectedly, Zonia sat down beside him.

“Isn’t your seat in the back?” Alex asked flatly, without any expression.

Zonia’s brows furrowed slightly. Lowering her voice and suppressing her anger, she explained,

“If it weren’t for my best friend’s order, do you think I’d sit beside you? And besides, you should be thanking me. I asked Lecturer Sofian to come earlier—otherwise… you might already be dead.”

The classroom gradually returned to silence. Lecturer Sofian stood at the front, his gaze sweeping across the students with a calm yet authoritative expression.

“Alright. Let’s continue the lesson,” he said briefly.

Sofian began explaining the core theory of the day’s lecture. Formula after formula was written on the board, accompanied by lengthy explanations that usually caused most students to lose focus. Some yawned, others simply copied notes without truly understanding.

But Alex was different.

From the very start, his gaze was calm and sharp. Every sentence Sofian spoke seemed to arrange itself neatly in Alex’s mind. Concepts that felt complicated to other students were, to him, like puzzle pieces locking together effortlessly.

“So that’s the flow…” Alex murmured inwardly.

When Sofian explained the connection between the fundamental theory and its application, Alex unconsciously nodded. There was no confusion on his face, no hesitation.

Zonia, sitting beside him, glanced over. At first, she thought Alex was just pretending to understand. But the longer she watched, the more her expression changed. Alex was even writing notes—far more concise, yet capturing the very essence.

“Alex,” Sofian suddenly called.

The classroom tensed.

“Explain again what I just taught.”

Several students immediately turned to watch, waiting for Alex’s downfall. Even Abel sneered faintly, convinced that Alex would be humiliated by Lecturer Sofian. After all, Sofian had always embarrassed Alex with his tricky questions.

Alex stood up slowly.

“Yes, Sir.”

Without hesitation, he began explaining—not merely repeating, but reorganizing the concept in clearer, more logical language. He even added an example of application that Sofian hadn’t yet mentioned.

The classroom fell silent again—this time not from tension, but from shock.

Sofian remained quiet for several seconds. His eyebrows, which had been slightly raised, now lifted even higher.

“Interesting,” he said softly.

He stared at Alex for a moment longer, then asked another question—this time at a higher level of difficulty. Alex answered again. Correctly. Clearly. Without a single pause.

From disdain, Sofian’s gaze gradually turned into admiration.

“Sit down,” he finally said. “Your answer is correct.”

Soft whispers rippled throughout the classroom. Zonia looked at Alex with an expression hard to decipher—somewhere between surprise and a faint sense of pride.

“It seems you’ve changed a little…”

“I haven’t changed,” Alex replied calmly. “I’m just doing what should be my responsibility.”

The lesson continued. Strangely enough, Sofian threw several targeted questions toward Alex. And each time, Alex answered them perfectly.

That made some of the students feel envy and jealousy. Usually, they only ever saw Sofian humiliating Alex with difficult material.

Before they realized it, time had passed.

“Alright, that concludes today’s class,” Sofian said, closing the lecture. “You may leave.”

Chairs scraped as students stood one by one. Yet in a corner of the room, Abel remained seated. His fists were clenched, his jaw tight.

His gaze was fixed on Alex’s back as he calmly walked out of the classroom.

In his eyes, jealousy and rage intertwined.

“How dare he steal my reputation…” Abel thought coldly. “Alex, this afternoon… I’ll make you understand that offending me is a grave mistake.”

He shot a sharp look at Djanu and Ruyan. Both nodded firmly, as if they already knew what needed to be done.

At the same time, right at the doorway, Alex curved his lips into a cold smile and muttered quietly,

“In my youth, before I became an unrivaled God Cultivator… I was quite wicked—a bully who knew no rules. Today, the past will repeat itself… but in a different world.”

Alex continued walking calmly, yet his gaze remained sharp. His steady steps carried him toward the back courtyard of the campus—the very place where his transmigration had begun.

“Alex… Alex… there are plenty of places you could hide,” Abel’s voice echoed from behind. “Yet you chose the place where we used to bully you. Not a bad choice.”

Alex didn’t reply. He stopped in his tracks and said calmly,

“You’re right. This place was hell for the old Alex. But the Alex of today… you won’t even be able to touch a single strand of my hair.”

He turned around, revealing an expressionless face.

The voice wasn’t unfamiliar. He walked slowly toward the door and opened it just a crack. A woman stood outside, wearing a simple beige coat. Her hair was neatly tied back, her face beautiful with sharp features and intelligent eyes. In her hand was a black leather handbag—expensive, but understated.“Wine Clara?” Alex asked flatly. The woman smiled faintly, relief evident on her face. “Thank goodness you still remember me.”Alex opened the door fully. “Come in.”Clara was slightly surprised. She had expected questions—or even to be driven away. But Alex’s demeanor was far too calm for someone who had once been at odds with her over a trivial matter.Once inside, Clara immediately observed the house. Simple. Clean. Yet cold and eerily quiet.“Are you alone?” she asked.“Always,” Alex replied briefly.Clara nodded

Djanu stepped forward first, followed by Abel and Ruyan, who spread out in a half-circle.A formation painfully familiar to the original body’s memories.Back then, the original owner of this body always stood in the center of that circle—head lowered, trembling in fear, silently enduring the bullying until his entire body was covered in wounds. But now, the positions were reversed. The Alex of today was no longer a loser. He was a former God Cultivator, once revered across countless regions of the Immortal Realm.“So you dare challenge us here,” Abel said coldly. “This place… wasn’t it always the graveyard of your dignity?”Alex smiled faintly—a smile utterly devoid of emotion.“That’s exactly why I chose this place,” he replied calmly. “So you can experience again what you used to do.”Djanu snorted. “Bullshit. You think answering a lecturer’s questions makes you someone important?”He lunged forward instantly, his fist shooting toward Alex’s face, powerful and filled with force.Bu

Casting a brief glance at Alex’s expressionless face, several of Clara’s attendants immediately exclaimed.“T–That necklace… the one that symbolizes absolute authority!”“That’s right! It’s said this necklace was valued at over ten million dollars! But due to a sudden act of greed, it vanished without a trace! Even now, rulers of various nations are still searching for the symbol of the Blue Ocean Dragon!”Clara carefully picked up the necklace. Her appraisal could not be wrong, yet suspicion still rose within her.“Where did you get this necklace?”“I’m the same as you—someone who can judge an item with just two eyes,” Alex replied calmly. “What makes you so suspicious? Right now, I just happen to need money. How much is this necklace worth?”Clara fell silent for a moment. Even in the past, its price had reached ten million dollars. Now, after the Blue Ocean Dragon Necklace had been lost for years and suddenly resurfaced, its value would surely multiply several times over.“Based on

Interesting…” Realizing who the old man truly was, Alex continued walking toward the best shop on the antique street. That shop belonged to Wine Clara—the finest antique appraiser in Draken City.Upon entering, Abel, who was browsing the items displayed on the shelves, immediately spoke to Alex.“Why are you tailing us?! Do you really think that rotten clay jar of yours can be exchanged for money here? Hahahaha! You must feel scammed, right?!”“Scammed? I don’t think so. I came here after seeing that this is the largest shop I’ve encountered… and I’m here to sell what’s inside this jar.
