First, you make a box big enough to house the thing that you wish to cast plus a few centimeters to the sides, then you put in the thing that will hold the cast while it cools down and when you pour it.

Then you do the same thing with the other half of the box or you fill half of the box.

The next step is to carve the mold, weather it is by hand or just pressing a plastic, wax or a cast made of any other material into the sand, if the box is split in two, you can remove the cast, but if it’s one, then leave the cast, but make sure it is made of a material that burn really well and really quick.

Then, if the box is separated in two, then you put it together and don’t forget to make a couple of wholes where you will pour in the metal.

And then you take your molten metal and pour it.

This time I used a wooden box and clay, plus a foam cast.

My cast turned out unsuccessful, because the metal didn’t completely fill in a corner,
