Goblin Dungeon

"What's that?"

Alex exclaimed with surprise as he was flying and suddenly saw a circular mirror floating in the air, on a small clearing. It was enough for a group of people to walk together. it was rotating clockwise and there was the scenery of a rainforest inside. It was very clear and looked like a high-definition picture.

There was a faint light radiating from it, and mana was gathering around it slowly. It was obvious that it was the so-called dungeon. Alex went around it to take a look but it was the same on both sides with the scenery inside being the same.

"I did think about going in there as the dungeon should only be the boundary between the two gates and it shouldn't have many stronger beings inside but now that I am standing right in front of it. It looks really dangerous and I have an ominous feeling about going in there."

Alex mumbled as he looked deeply at the calm scenery inside. He shuddered slightly and then laughed.

"Oh, I almost forgot, I have clones to do that so why would I be scared of exploring the dungeon."

He cried out with this realization and made a clone. he then made a strong blade. Gave it to the clone and sent it inside. giving it the command to kill all monsters silently by the sneak attack but stay in the area close to the gate after clearing it. come back through the same gate, the clone walked inside and passed through the mirror-like portal. it looked like sinking into the water without creating a ripple.

Alex stood there with a grin on his face watching it goes inside and a thought pervaded his mind, "I can get the memories of the clone after absorbing or dispelling it, so why can't I do it while the clone is summoned?"

"There is no need not to be able to do it, I just have to figure out a way."

He said with confidence and then called out.

A bewildered expression appeared on his face as he looked at the new section on his status sheet.

"Nice, so I already created two techniques huh?"

Alex mumbled with bewilderment as he looked thoughtfully at the status screen in front of him. trying to figure out the uses of these techniques. replication construct allows him to create constructs like guns or blades from replication.

While replication empowerment is the ability to get stronger through replication like he used his clones to cultivate.

"It's really simple and useful."

He whispered as the thought of fighting together with his clones illuminated his mind. he was eager to learn about the possibilities.

"I should be able to create something like Hive Mind to share a single consciousness in multiple bodies, allowing me to fight together with the clones like a giant using puppets to fight in a coordinated manner."

"Well, I will do it when the time comes and before that, I should cultivate while the clone explores the dungeon and comes back."

Clone's POV

As the clone passed through the portal, the strange feeling of spacial movement extended throughout his body, making his mana disrupt a little. But he stabilized in a few moments.

He entered a forest that was denser than the one he was in before. looking up, there was no sky and only a dome filled with light could be seen. looking back, the portal was the same and even the scenery was the same. A strong stench permeated the atmosphere.

As he looked around, there was nothing unusual so he moved to complete the task and began to walk forward holding the blue double-edged blade. it was stronger than before and sharper than any iron blade. Well, stronger than the one he had seen at least.

After walking for just a few minutes he could already hear the faint but irregular sounds of footsteps. he levitated upwards by using telekinesis. the clone could use it but it was very difficult, and even levitating itself was straining for the clone.

He sat on a branch and moved around by jumping along with using telekinesis a little, and soon he saw those small child-like disgusting creatures. they were green and had huge ears, big noses, and small eyes.

Wearing only the loin-cloth and having all sorts of marks all over their body made them repulsive to look at. but it was only a clone and it didn't have feelings or a sense of beauty so it didn't hesitate to attack. the goblins were holding rusted iron swords and one of them was wearing armor that was very coarse and in a bad shape.

The clone attacked the one with the armor directly. as they were unaware of the enemy and were sneak-attacked. So, they couldn't defend themselves and the one with the armor was beheaded on the spot. by the time they could understand what happened another one was dead. the clone used telekinesis and stopped them from moving and killed them one by one. there were 5 of them, it must have been an exploring party.

As the clone stood there, with the blade in hand and green blood scattered around. he saw the bodies of the goblins turn into light particles. defying the laws of nature and when the light settled, blue-colored egg-sized orbs and a book were lying around their bodies.

But he ignored them as he only had to kill the monsters. So, he started to roam again and started his killing spree.

One after another, he met exploration teams of varying sizes and there were goblin shamans, archers, and warriors among them.

But before they could even make a sound the clone had already killed them cleanly by using telekinesis to restrict their movement and sneaking from behind.

Of course, another reason for their slaughter and these easy kills was also the fact that they were D-Ranked monsters with low intelligence.

And only one stat among their strength, mana, or health was higher. unlike Alex who had maxed the three stats like mage and would have high strength for tanking. this made him a warrior that was stronger at long, medium, and short range, making him an ultimate warrior.

And his soul strength was also very strong that making his perception stronger than most people.

So killing these low-leveled monsters was not a great task even with the low combat ability that they had.

As the clone wandered about killing goblins. he gradually cleared the peripheral area and moved toward the center. where the goblins should most likely gather.

it should be noted that the clone was told to stay close to the gate and come back after clearing the area but it went straight toward the center. the reason for this disobedience was unknown and even the fact that the clone had the thought of going inside was unexplainable.

The clone strode forward and soon found a fence he jumped over it and got inside. It looked like a tribe with various wooden huts and a big hut at the back.

There were goblins everywhere, in the huts, walking on the pavement, talking in strange voices, and there were all kinds of loud voices coming but it didn't matter to him as he started to kill those secrets that will not be noticed immediately. but with such a crowd there was bound to be someone who noticed it.

And one of the goblins discovered a body and shouted that even though he was killed right after, the goblins were still made aware of the invasion, and chaos spread like wildfire.

Goblins were running everywhere, screaming and shouting in rage as they gradually discovered the bodies, and prepared for a battle, the clone took advantage of the situation and killed even more of the goblins.

Then a scream of rage was heard from the big hut located at the back, and a fat goblin with an appearance similar to the other goblins came forward. it was bigger and more ferocious. It had a necklace around its neck with a loincloth covering its crotch and holding a spiked club, only 20-25 goblins were left behind it and it looked to be a C-Rank monster.

As it strides forward its eyes turned red slightly and smoke rose from its body seeing its companion's dead bodies. It pounced forward to attack and kill the damn invader that killed its brethren and disrupted its sleep.

The clone dodged to the right at the last moment and struck his blade from the left to the right, wanting to sever its neck in one go. Of course, it was not that easy and the reason for this easier kill was that the chief goblin had its movement restricted by telekinesis so it couldn't move during the attack.

The death of the chieftain devastated the mobs and they tried to run, but before they could have the chance, the clone killed them all quickly.

After killing the last of the goblins, the clone looked around for a while but didn't find anyone.

So, it made its way back to the original.

Meanwhile, Alex was bored after waiting and cultivating for a few hours and hunted for a small beast, and had a delightful dinner. he started to cultivate right after but at this moment. there was a ripple on the surface of the portal and the clone appeared.
