2: ...Something Happened

Jace couldn't believe his eyes. He couldn't even believe all that was happening before his eyes. He couldn't believe that Nora of all people was saying this to him.

Nora whom he had loved so dearly that he could do anything for. The same Nora who had kept confessing and expressing her love to him and was the clingy type. That same Nora was saying all these to him.

"Oh..." the Billionaire nodded as he looked at Jace, "Now I understand what's happening. You despicable stalker and murderer just returned from jail and you decide to stalk her. What part of her don't you like that you didn't understand before?" He questioned coldly.

Jace didn't even look at him, his eyes were still on Nora who now held onto The man's hands "Darling, let's get out of here. He basically creeps me out now! I can't even stand a second staring at his face!"

The Billionaire held onto her hands as well, as he looked at Jace "You heard her. Now get lost. I don't want to see your despicable face again. Get out!" He snapped but Jace didn't leave.

Jace still stood there staring at Nora in disbelief "Nora, How can you say this to me? You basically loved me...We basically shared our love and all. We were even about preparing for our marriage before.."

"Oh shut up your disgusting mouth!" Nora snapped," How can someone like me like you? Something as low and humiliating as you?"

Nora laughed and then continued, "Didn't you find it strange that I even went out with you? Did you think you're so lucky to have me? No, I never even did like you at all. It was all just a fling for my pleasure and personal interest. So I bet you got too delusional with it."

She folded her hands glaring at him, "So wake up and see the reality. Because no lady in his right mind would agree to date and like someone like you for the so-called love! You can't even provide for your pathetic poor family! How could you have provided for me?"

"Nora...." Jace was angry as he clenched his fist, "Enough with your words..." He never liked the idea of someone talking down on his family.

"Why? Can't you handle the truth? Well, handle it because someone like you who has no stable job in life, who can't take care of their family even as the first son! Someone who has been living life like a dog, someone who is labelled as a murderer! And someone who walks around the street..." She pointed at his attire, "Like this...is not fit to be called a man in the society!"

The Billionaire laughed at her words as he rewarded her with a kiss on the cheeks.

She then said, "So you better get lost and find a way to get your life in check with such a disastrous reputation. Instead of stalking ladies up and down. As you can see, I have already moved on and found a reliable person for my relationship," She hugged the Billionaire.

"How can you say all those to me? A disastrous reputation? How dare you! Are we gonna pretend like we don't know the reason I went to jail now? I went to jail all because of you..."

"Shut up!" Nora snapped at him, interrupting his words, "Why are you being so clingy and annoying! How can you push your guilty murder blame on someone else? You went to jail for me? Oh, come on! It was all because of you and you alone, you despicable murderer!" She snapped as she looked back at the Billionaire.

"Kai dear! Please find a way to throw this jerk away from my sight! I can't even bear seeing him!" She said

"Don't worry...I have already called those for the job and they're here..." Kai smirked as he looked at Jace who was standing there in utmost shock and disbelief.

Jace was still trying to process all the shocking stuff that had just happened right now!

He couldn't believe that Nora whom he had literally gone to prison for was doing this to him now.

The girl that he liked so much that he was willing to put his reputation on the line for her safety. Now she was the one calling him a murderer and all..he felt devastated.

Just then, two cops arrived at the scene.

"Greetings Mr Matt, how can we help you?" The first one asked.

"Please take this disgusting man away. He literally got out of prison today after being there for the case of murder. And now he is here harassing and stalking my fiancée. Take this despicable man to jail now!" Kai ordered.

"OK, we'll get that done right now so he doesn't bother you anymore!" The second policeman said as they grabbed Jace in both hands.

Jace stared at Nora, still baffled. He didn't even bother struggling to set himself free from their grip.

Just now he had heard what Kai said about his fiancée. Then did this mean they were getting married soon? The idea of that shocked him. He didn't even know what to do.

And it was now pretty obvious that Kai wasn't a mere figure.. he seemed powerful enough in this business world. A Billionaire at that.

As the cops grabbed him by the hand and took him away, Jace watched as Nora grabbed onto Matt's hand as both of them walked into the jewellery shop.

He could overhear what Nora had said as they went in.

"Let's go and buy some pieces of jewellery for our upcoming wedding honey!" She expressed as both of them made their way in.

While on the other hand, Jace was being taken away. He didn't even complain or struggle even when knowing he was going to be taken to jail and questioned again.

He was calm about it. Because that wasn't his problem.

Now what seemed to be his problem was the fact that he had been betrayed!
