Anxiousness and Curiosity

Laurel was already in bed when she got the call, her phone ringing was what woke her up, and hearing Lilian cry on the phone made her heart tighten. She quickly got up from her bed staring at her phone as she headed to her wardrobe to change her nightwear into something else.

The location of the hospital entered her phone and she picked up the pace. She wore a white tank top with a blue Jean and quickly grabbed a jacket because of the cold. It was midnight already, it’d be dead cold outside.

She hurried downstairs and grabbed her house key from the dining table. She was almost at the door when she remembered she didn’t take her car keys. Even though she didn’t like taking the old car, it was the only option she had that night. It would be difficult to get a cab at a time like that. She shrugged and hurried back to her room.
