"1!" The system's voice echoed through Vedic’s fading consciousness.

Vedic refused to let himself just vanish. In the final second, as the light particles on his arm were nearly gone, he summoned every last bit of his remaining glitch energy. He didn't try to fight the system with brute force; instead, he manipulated the base code of the deletion command itself. With the touch of his few remaining fingers, he altered the "Delete" command to "Delay."

A brilliant burst of purple digital energy exploded within the room. Hans, who had been smiling smugly, widened his eyes in shock. The device in his hand detonated, sending shards flying into his face.

"What the hell did you do?" Hans screamed, his calm demeanor shattered. He looked ridiculous, his hair half-scorched from the small explosion.

Vedic felt his body materialize again, though he was incredibly weak. He collapsed into the lap of Sanan, who was still half-naked from the nearly completed deletion process. Sanan was gasping for air, her face flushed from the adrenaline and the strange sensation of the glitch that had just erupted.

"Sanan, are you okay?" Vedic asked weakly, still gripping her waist tightly.

Sanan looked at Vedic, then at Hans, who was currently cursing up a storm because his device was completely dead. Sanan laughed, a sharp, sarcastic sound. "You just triggered an apocalypse within the system, Vedic. And honestly, it’s the most exhilarating thing I’ve ever done in my life."

Hans stepped forward, stumbling over floating debris caused by the unstable gravity. "The two of you are absolutely insane! Do you have any idea how much energy is required to stall a deletion command? You’re going to trigger an error far worse than this!"

Vedic climbed to his feet, despite his shaking legs. He fixed Hans with a sharp glare. "I don't give a damn about errors. I care about staying alive. So, Hans, you better explain exactly who you are before I decide to turn your existence into a pile of useless pixels."

Hans scoffed. He took a deep breath, trying to compose himself amidst the room now filled with flashing red error messages. "I am an Observer. I’m not 'Hans the scavenger.' I am a component of the system tasked with ensuring both of you stay within the parameters of the experiment."

But as it turns out, the two of you are pests even more revolting than a virus.

Vedic let out a soft chuckle. He stepped toward Hans, his fingers still pulsing with a violet glow as he reached out to touch the man's shoulder. In an instant, Hans's polished attire morphed into a clown suit, clashing in an array of garish, tacky colors.

"Oops, my mistake," Vedic said with a playful smirk. "It seems your own system has a bit of a grudge against your boring fashion sense."

Sanan couldn't help but burst out laughing at the sight. She rose and walked toward them, her gaze lingering on Vedic with a possessive intensity. "Look at you, Hans. You finally look like the clown you were always meant to be. Now, tell us where the exit to this wretched place is, or I’ll make you regret the day you were ever programmed into existence."

Hans was livid, his face flushing a deep, angry crimson. "You’ll never make it out! This is a quarantine zone! Once the reset is complete, your data will be purged, and you’ll be nothing but mindless, hollow shells!"

Vedic glanced at the notification screen, where a countdown had begun to tick away. [SYSTEM RESET: 10 PERCENT]. He knew they were running out of time. He looked over at Sanan, catching her eye with a knowing look.

"Sanan, are you ready for the most ridiculous mission we've ever pulled off?" Vedic asked.

Sanan let out a sharp grin. "Anything to stay alive, sweetheart. What's the plan?"

"We have to dive straight into the heart of the system. We aren't going to run from the reset, we’re going to ride it," Vedic replied.

Vedic grabbed Sanan’s hand and they sprinted toward the center of the room. They leaped headfirst into the swirling vortex of energy left behind by the explosion. Hans tried to scramble after them, but he slipped and fell as the floor beneath him transformed into a slick, treacherous gel.

"Damn you both!" Hans screamed, his voice cracking as he crawled pathetically across the slippery floor.

Vedic and Sanan plummeted into the center of the energy vortex. The sensation was overwhelming, a violent pull that felt like their very atoms were being unraveled and rewoven. The energy surging between them crackled like a lightning storm. Sanan pulled Vedic closer, pressing her body against his until there wasn't an inch of space left between them.

"Vedic, it's so hot," Sanan whispered, her breath ragged against his ear.

"Don't let go," Vedic gritted out. He could feel his glitch powers fusing with the dark energy of Sanan’s curse. The light radiating from them was no longer just white or black; it was a lethal, shimmering kaleidoscope of color.

Suddenly, they were thrown into an entirely different environment. It wasn't a dungeon or a war room, but a sprawling, opulent bedroom. Everything felt impossibly real, far too visceral for a mere simulation. Sanan and Vedic were sprawled across a massive bed draped in heavy black silk.

A new notification flashed before Vedic’s eyes. [SECRET MISSION: PERFORM DATA UNIFICATION. REWARD: GODLY AURA SKILL].

Vedic stared at the text, then turned to Sanan, who was watching him with a raw, undeniable hunger. She stripped away the tattered remains of her clothing, her eyes locked onto his with a dominant, unwavering confidence.

"The system gave us a mission, Vedic," Sanan whispered, her fingers tugging slowly at his shirt. "Surely you don't want to fail this one?"

Vedic felt like his mind was short-circuiting. He knew it was likely a trap set by the system, but the physical reality of Sanan was too powerful to ignore. "This is absurd. The world is ending around us and you want to do this?"

Sanan pulled him down and kissed him deeply, a kiss that was both a demand and a promise. "This isn't just about desire. It’s about survival. The energy from this union is the only thing that can make us strong enough to stand against the system’s creators."

Vedic met her intensity, returning the kiss with equal fervor. He could feel her heart hammering against his. Every touch sent shockwaves of energy through the room, causing it to tremble. The lights overhead shattered one by one, plunging them into a darkness lit only by the glow of their combined auras.

"I'm going to make sure you never forget me," Sanan whispered between breaths.

Vedic let out a low laugh. "I don't think I have much of a choice, Madam Guild Leader."

Suddenly, a thunderous boom shook the door. It wasn't a human knock, but the sound of heavy metal battering the frame. A massive silhouette loomed behind the splintered wood, wielding a weapon that crackled with blue energy. It was the Fixer, the same entity they had fought in the dungeon.

"You think you can hide from me in here?" the Fixer’s voice boomed, thick with malice.

Sanan didn't pull away. She cast a brief, cold glance toward the door before turning her gaze back to Vedic. "Let her watch. Let her see exactly what happens when she tries to interfere with us."

Vedic felt the power of the Godly Aura beginning to surge through his veins. He looked toward the Fixer with a cocky, arrogant grin. With a flick of his wrist, he conjured a shimmering barrier across the doorway, cutting the Fixer off mid-stride.

"My apologies, ma'am," Vedic said, his arms still wrapped around Sanan. "We’re a bit occupied. Feel free to wait out there until we're done, or if you're in a hurry, you can go straight to hell right now."

The Fixer went into a rage, slamming against the barrier with everything she had. But with every impact, Vedic and Sanan only seemed to grow stronger. They lost themselves in the intimacy of the moment, surrounded by an uncontrollable storm of raw power.

Outside the room, the world was falling apart. The sky was splintering, the ground was heaving, and system alerts were scrolling by at a dizzying speed. But inside, time had stopped. There was nothing but the heat of their bodies and the locking of their powers.

Vedic felt as if every part of Sanan was now an extension of himself. The notifications in his peripheral vision were a blur of shifting code, as if the system was struggling to process the anomaly they had become.

"Do you feel that?" Sanan whispered. Her eyes had shifted to a brilliant violet, matching the hue of Vedic’s glitch energy.

"Yeah," Vedic panted. "The system... it’s trying to digest us."

Suddenly, the barrier Vedic had erected was obliterated, not by the Fixer, but by something far more massive. A colossal hand smashed through the wall, seizing the entire structure of the room in its grip. It was the Creator, or at least, a manifestation of their power.

"You are errors that should have been purged long ago," a voice thundered, vibrating through the room until Vedic’s head throbbed.

Sanan and Vedic shared a final look. They knew the end was upon them. Sanan pulled him into one last, searing kiss, her eyes full of defiance.

"Are you afraid, little glitch?" Sanan asked.

Vedic laughed out loud as the world crumbled around them. "Afraid? I’m enjoying every single second."

As the giant hand began to crush the room, Vedic reached upward. He didn't call upon destruction. Instead, he channeled the full power of the Godly Aura they had just unlocked. A blinding white light erupted from them, consuming the room, the massive hand, and the Creator watching from the heavens.

The explosion of light swallowed everything, leaving behind only a profound, absolute silence.

There was no sound of crumbling ruins. There were no notification pings. There was only an incredibly peaceful silence.

As the light slowly faded, Vedic opened his eyes. He saw himself and Sanan standing amidst a sprawling, vibrant green meadow, far from the dungeons, far from the city, and far from the reach of the system. They were both lying in the grass with their clothes fully restored, but something was different. Around each of their wrists was a band of light, pulsing in a steady, synchronized rhythm.

Sanan sat up slowly, looking around with a dazed expression. "Where are we?"

Vedic stood up and looked at the sky. It was a clear, brilliant blue, free of cracks and devoid of the system. "I think we've reached a place where the system can't get to us."

Sanan grinned from ear to ear. She threw her arms around Vedic, hugging him tightly. "We did it, Vedic. We actually did it."

Vedic looked at the bracelet on his wrist, then back at Sanan. He felt something strange. He could no longer see the system notifications. The display that usually hovered before his eyes was completely gone.

"Sanan, can you see the system?" Vedic asked.

Sanan shook her head. She tried to summon her guild interface, but nothing appeared. "Nothing. Everything is gone."

Vedic stared at the horizon. He felt a sense of pride, but a small seed of anxiety began to take root in his heart. Without the system, were they truly free? Or had they just stumbled into a deeper, more complex experiment?

Suddenly, something massive began to rise from beyond the horizon. A giant black pyramid floated in the sky, looking far more tangible and terrifying than any system they had ever encountered before.

Sanan turned pale as she stared at the pyramid. "Vedic, what is that?"

Vedic didn't answer. He gripped Sanan's hand tightly. He knew their journey was far from over; in fact, it was just beginning, and this time, they had no system to guide them.

Just as the pyramid began to emit a blue light that swept across the entire meadow, the sound of a knock echoed from behind them. It wasn't a door in the physical world, but a door that had manifested out of nowhere in the middle of the field. It was an old wooden door that looked completely out of place against its surroundings.

Vedic turned toward the door. It felt familiar. It was the door to Sanan’s old guild headquarters, the place where they had first met.

"What’s happening?" Sanan whispered.

Vedic stepped toward the door, but before he could reach for the handle, it swung open on its own. A blonde man in pristine white robes stepped out. It was Hans. But this time, he didn't look like a scavenger or an observer. He looked like an ordinary man carrying a tray with two cups of warm tea.

"You two look exhausted after such a long journey," Hans said in a calm, steady tone, as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. "Please, come in. The Owner would like to speak with you."

Vedic and Sanan exchanged a look of pure confusion. They didn't know what was going on, but they knew one thing, there was no turning back. They stepped through the doorway, leaving behind the beautiful meadow and the black pyramid that was now starting to emit a terrifying, low rumble.

As they stepped inside, the door slammed shut behind them, severing their connection to the outside world. They found themselves in a dimly lit room, illuminated only by a single vintage chandelier. At the far end of the room, someone sat in a large high-backed chair, facing away from them.

"Welcome, Vedic. Welcome, Sanan," the man’s voice sounded hauntingly familiar, the same voice they had heard in the system notifications. "I’ve been waiting for you since the beginning of time."

Vedic felt his heart skip a beat. He knew that voice. It was the voice of the system, but it was no longer a cold, digital recording. It was the voice of a man who commanded authority and was steeped in mystery.

The man slowly turned his chair around, revealing a face that left Vedic and Sanan speechless. It was a face they knew all too well, the face they saw in the mirror every single day.

"Impossible," Vedic whispered.

The man grinned widely, a smile that was chilling to the bone. "Welcome home, myself."

They weren't just falling; they were caught in the grip of an artificial gravitational pull generated by entities in the sky. Vedic reached out and snagged Sanan by the waist, pulling her flush against him amidst a swirling vortex of concrete debris."Hold on tight!" Sanan, usually fierce, stood frozen, her nails digging into Vedic's arm as she gripped him."What is the meaning of this?" Vedic asked, his voice trembling. He tried to step back, but his feet felt as though they were bolted to the cold marble floor. "I am Vedic. I'm the one standing here. So who are you? Are you some kind of clone from a system experiment?"The man laughed. His voice sounded like the smooth, grand friction of fine metal. He stood up slowly, smoothing out his black suit, an outfit that looked far too luxurious and out of place for such a chaotic world. "I'm no clone. I am the final result of everything you’ve been through. I am the Vedic from a timeline that successfully erased the boundaries between

He could feel Sanan holding his breath behind him. A heavy, suffocating silence settled over the ruined remains of the dungeon."The end of what?" Vedic asked, forcing a dry chuckle. "I was just starting to get comfortable with all this chaos. You’re a little late to the party, Lady in White."The woman didn't respond. Her vacant eyes didn't see Vedic as a person, but rather as a line of corrupted code that needed to be purged. Sanan slowly rose from the rubble, wiping a smudge of blood from the corner of his lip with his thumb. A strange flicker of fury and desire danced in his eyes as he stared at the Fixer."Let him go," Sanan ordered, his voice low and heavy with authority. The Fixer didn't even look at him. His voice echoed through the chaos, sounding liberated and slightly deranged. He turned to Sanan, who stood right beside him, watching him with a look of admiration mixed with a certain hunger."You see that, Sanan?"
