Tyson was aware that as the new chairman of the brilliance Corp,he had to at least show up but that did not mean he had to Introduce himself to the public.He planned to appoint a good and trustworthy general manager to oversee the operations of the company while he stayed in the shadows where he belongs.

After parting ways with Jordan, Tyson made his way to his room to retire for the night.

The following morning, he drove to his mother-in-law's house to pick Samantha and Tara for work and school respectively.

After dropping Samantha, Tyson Left for the brilliance Corp.

He had some matters he needed to fix. 

The brilliance Corp was under his name, but the top management officials were all lackeys who worked for the Carter family in DC.

If he wanted to establish his footing in Los Angeles,he had to start by taking full control of the brilliance Corp, Los Angeles branch.

Tyson Parked his jaguar at the parking lot of the Corp.

He had just taken a few steps when a guard bellowed angrily at him.

" You punk! Do you think you can just pack your car here as If it's a public parking lot? Don't you know that that spot belongs to the chairman's car?" A guard approached Tyson. His face held a grimace as he eyed Tyson with contempt.

From the look of the cheap clothes the man before him was wearing, he could tell that he was poor and probably a low ranking worker in the company.

How dare he Park his cheap car at the chairman's spot.

" Hurry and remove your car there before I smash it or to pieces." The guard added, rotating his baton, trying to intimidate Tyson.

Tyson watched the guard with a bored expression on his face. After the guard finished his rambling, he turned around and Left.

" Hey! How dare you ignore me and walk away. Do you know who I am? I am the person the next helmsman of the Carter family sent me here to be his eyes and ears. If I open my mouth and complain about your behaviour, nobody will ever hear about your name again." The guard boasted, his words catching Tyson's attention.

It turned out that the Carter's family influence in the company ran deep.

If they could manage to hire security guards to be their spies, what more of the top management.

Since the guy had a big mouth and kept on bragging about his connection to the Carter family, Tyson decided to use him to gather information about who else was here under the Instructions of the Carter family.

" I don't have time to argue with you. You should call your superior here, I want to talk to him personally." Tyson finally opened his mouth and Said. if he didn't want to extract information from the man, he wouldn't waste his breath on him . He wasn't worth his time.

" Hah! Who do you think you are to ask Mr Richard to speak to you personally? He's the assistant general manager and has more authority than the general manager himself. He is the trusted person appointed by the Carter family to run the company on their behalf.You should count yourself lucky you only met me today.You would not be lucky to walk with your head intact if it was him you run into." The guard said with a sneer.

He couldn't believe someone dressed so shabbily had the right to talk to the esteemed Richard Kane. Even he as the head security officer appointed by the Carter family has to bow before Mr Richard.

' So the assistant manager has more power than the general manager?' Tyson pondered.

That could mean that the general manager was someone hard to control so that's why they send an assistant manager to keep things in check.

Tyson also learnt that the assistant manager was here to monitor everything in the company and report back to the Carter family.

They only transferred the ownership rights to him but still wanted to control the Corp from the shadows?

" Anyway I am in a good mood today and don't want to argue. Mr Richard has already announced that we will be having a new chairman but he holds no power.He's just another useless person with a title but no power. The chairman will be arriving anytime,I suggest you move your car before he gets here." The guard added.

His words about the new chairman catching Tyson's attention.

He didn't think the Carter's would be so blatant as to spread the word that he was a name without power.

If only they knew how powerful he really was, they might pee in their pants.

With his power, Tyson was capable of making the Carter family disappear from the face of the earth and talk less about taking control over an insignificant company like the brilliance Corp.

Actually, if it wasn't for the fact that brilliance Corp was founded by his mother while they still resided in the Carter family residence, Tyson wouldn't be bothered to take a second glance at it.

Although it was under the Carter family, the brilliance Corp was underdeveloped. 

Its net worth was around five billion in Cash.

That was like a peanut compared to the main brilliance Corp branch in DC.

" What's happening here?" A loud and authoritative voice sounded from afar as a bald man made his way to where Tyson and the guard were standing.

" Good morning Mr Richard?" The guard greeted him respectfully.

The man referred to Mr Richard just nodded, acknowledging his greetings before his eyes shifted to Tyson who stood there with a bored expression on his face.

" Who is this person and what is he doing here in the VIP parking lot?" The man Inquired, observing Tyson with his eagle-like eyes.
