“ Dad,” Olivia called for her father's attention. “ Do you know him?” she asked with anticipation to hear what he had to say.

Mr. Smith remained silent for a few seconds before turning around and replying to her.“ Yeah, I knew him a long time ago.”

“ Huh? A long time ago?” Olivia was lost and diverted her gaze to Fernando, who had innocently composed himself.

“ How did you know him?” she asked her father.

Mr. Smith sighed before offering Fernando a seat.“ please have a seat.” he said, and Fernando slowly motioned to one of the sofas and sat down.

“ You can also sit, please.” Mr. Smith told Olivia and her mother.

Mr. Smith sat beside his wife and crossed his legs as he balanced his hands on the headrest.

“ This young man you are seeing here,” Mr. Smith began.“ Once saved you from drowning in a beach a few years ago,” he explained to Olivia, who sat on the sofa with her arms folded above her chest as she rested her back against the sofa.
