By 2:00AM the next morning, the cartel settled for another meeting. Victor Calderon, the cartel’s lead investigator, cleared his throat with an unsettled demeanor.

“We’ve checked every security feed, report, and intelligence source.” He informed them in a disturbed tone. ”We can’t find the masked rescuer.”

Marcel Vidal chimed in fiercely, “Are you telling us a ghost disrupted our sniper’s shot and had him miss for the first time?”

Calderon swallowed, confusion evident in his expression. “There’s no trace, footprints, connections, or leaked information available to track the mystery figure.”

He awkwardly cleared his throat and continued. “If it were Achilles Hector…” He paused, skeptical of finishing his thought.

The room oozed with stunned tension. Achilles was the only Warlord with eagle vision to spot a sniper from 3,000 meters away.

But they had no single evidence to prove he played a noble part in rescuing the Prime Minister.
