Victoria Stones chimed a calculated beam at him and reacted opposite by standing to her feet. She let out a low grunt after sitting for almost half an hour.

She cleared her throat and hummed one of her favorite jazz tunes while staring into the streets with the passerby having a purpose for the new day before dawn.

“I mean, like today, Victoria. Can you explain it already?”

Felix Jacobs said with a slight hitch of breath. He had been staring at her since she stood and still didn't understand how their discussion related to her darting at the passerby on the street.
