Advent Of A Demonic Vampire Lord

During the first war between the Devils and the Gods, the world trembled and portals were cracked, allowing so many beings of different types to escape and occupy the human planet called Earth.

Even magic and superpowers were leaked into the human world, allowing humans to possess powers they never dreamed of having.

But even at that, the world suffered greatly from the impact of the war, losing lives and homes and so many other things.

During this war, the God of war decided to put an end to the suffering of all living beings and as such, she sacrificed her life. After she died, the Supreme Lord of all the devils disappeared with no trace.

After the war, Earth was no longer the same.

The appearance of magic and superpowers, monsters, magic beasts, and many different beings like vampires, demons, and so on, turned Earth into a fantasy world.

The world came together and decided to give Earth another name. 'Eera'

Humans began to co-exist with the new beings, not because they wanted but because they were given no choice. But because they co-exist with each other doesn't mean that they couldn't kill each other.

The new policy governing Eera was to kill or get killed. And as such, these different beings do not fail to kill each other, especially the weak ones. They hunt those who are weaker and kill them, this is how they survive while co-existing with one another.

The appearance of power also gave rise to the rate of evil being committed every day. Humans have been known as greedy and selfish beings and that is something that can't be changed. With the use of these powers, they commit crimes daily with no fear or remorse, they even go as far as killing themselves just to be on top.

Yet, nothing was done.

The Gods keep watching them yet, they do nothing about them. They were silent on the matter because it'll be against the law of nature if they should get involved with the affairs of mortals.

They silently watch as humans sink deeper into evil.

It is a sunny day today with the weather being nice and warm. The street is filled with happy people, all going about their daily lives.

The little children are running around the street, the older ones are displaying their powers to their friends while the old men and women are carrying about their work.

Everything looked pleasant until all of a sudden, a woman's cry was heard. Everyone on the street stopped whatever they were doing to know the source of the cry and when they looked ahead, they saw a group of people approaching them.

"Isn't that the Chief and his family?" Someone from the street asked.

"It is. But why is the woman crying?"

"Haven't you heard? That lady you see there had an affair with a vampire and gave birth to a vampire child!"

At what this person said, the people around gasped in shock.

"Guess where they are taking the child to?"

"To kill him?"

"No! They are taking him to the devil's lake!"

"What?"

"The lake is just above that mountain but the chief sealed it with a powerful barrier that no one can break through. The devil's lake is said to have been the last place the supreme Lord of the devils was seen before his disappearance. I get it that he must have been shocked by the child's identity but taking him to that place is so inhuman!" A man said with a displeased look written on his face.

The people around him scoffed, it was obvious that he was the only person thinking that way.

"Inhuman you say? Have you forgotten the rule governing this town? It says that we shouldn't have anything to do with the demons and even vampires, we are enemies to each other, have you forgotten?"

"There's no point wasting your spit on him. I blame the chief's daughter for her stupidity, now she's going to watch her child being thrown into the devil's lake

"Hmm, it serves her right!"

The man listened to what the people around him were saying, he could not blame them or speak badly about them. It has been the rule of their town to not have anything to do with the demons and vampires for ages and so what the chief was about to do is nothing but carry out his responsibility as the head.

But still...

The chief led the crowd of followers up to the mountain where a strong barrier was placed. Getting to the place, he stopped and raised the staff in his hand, waving it in a circular motion and then stabbing it to the ground.

A rumbling sound was heard coming from the ground and soon, the barrier surrounding the mountain disappeared.

The man then pulled his staff out of the ground and continued the journey, he led the people inside the mountain where a beautiful lake was located.

"I heard the lake is so beautiful," a young boy mumbled to his friends.

"So I heard. It's just hard to believe that such a breathtaking lake is the said devil's lake," another boy chipped in.

"Same here, let's walk faster. We won't want to miss any detail, right?"

"Sure!"

The crowd got to the lake and stood behind the chief. He was staring deep into the lake, he had an extremely sad yet angry look on his face. The older lady by his side looked sad while the younger lady behind them was weeping silently.

"Give me the baby!" The man ordered and a baby wrapped in cloth was handed over to him. He held the baby, staring deep into his innocent eyes. The baby had beautiful red eyes and white skin, his eyes were innocent and he was stretching out his little arm to touch the man. "You are a mistake, an evil child. Never forget that as you die," the man mumbled and then placed him inside a basket that was next to him.

He carried the basket and then placed it inside the lake, giving it a slight push and sending it away without a second thought.

"This is a warning to anyone who will have anything to do with those cursed monsters," the man said and began to leave the place.

The crowd watched as the basket flowed away. Most of them felt pity for the baby because of his innocence but the rest felt that there was no need of doing so. One by one, they all left the mountain. Including the mother of the baby who was being dragged away by her father's men.

The moment they left, the mountain was sealed again.

Now, it was just the mountain, the lake, and the baby floating on it. Everything seemed normal at first but all of a sudden, the sky darkened causing darkness to fall upon the mountain. Thunder sounds rumbled through the sky as lightning danced around it.

The once beautiful lake darkened and it began to move back and forth, the baby's cries filled the atmosphere, and there was no one to help him.

As the lake flowed back and forth, a dark mist surrounded the basket and suddenly, the baby was floating in the air.
