Samson staggered back, clutching his cheek, his expression twisted in disbelief and humiliation.

“Chloe... are you insane?!” he bellowed. “You just slapped me!”

Chloe’s eyes burned with fury as she stepped forward and landed another sharp slap across his other cheek. Crack!

“And I’ll do it again, if you don’t shut your filthy mouth!”

Sienna gasped audibly, frozen in shock, while Ivy’s eyes widened with disbelief. No one had ever dared lay hands on a member of the Harker family so publicly before—especially not Samson.

“You crazy bitch!” Samson roared, his temper exploding. “When my brother hears about this, he’ll—he’ll skin you alive! I swear—”

Megan had assumed his mere presence would be enough—that Adam would panic, release Damon, and bow his head like any sane man would. But to his rising irritation, Adam didn’t even flinch.Instead, Adam looked straight at him and said coolly, “Who do you think you are? Why should I listen to you?”A collective gasp rippled through the crowd like a wave crashing into stone.“Did he just say that to Megan Atla?”“This brat’s gone mad!”“He’s fearless—or suicidal!”From the side, someone muttered, “He really thinks he’s untouchable after beating Mr. Damon? He’s just a greenhorn getting lucky!”Another voice joined in, louder, “Mr. Megan isn’t some young upstart. He’s from the older generation—one of the legends! He’s fought on the battlefield, stood against assassins and monsters alike! His power is second only to the Dawnhaven Gods of War!”“He’s not someone you provoke and walk away from…”“This guy’s finished.”As the muttering and judgment swelled around them, Megan’s face darkened.“D

Whispers erupted.“That can’t be him... the Iron Fist’s just a myth!”“No. Look at his hands—those scars. That’s him, alright.”Brielle’s eyes lit up, lips curling with a mix of awe and sadistic excitement. “Mr. Trent,” she turned, almost breathless, “is he really that dangerous?”Trent smirked, savoring the moment like a man who’d just unveiled a loaded gun at a knife fight. “Dangerous? He’s a human weapon. They say his fists alone could shatter concrete. My father saved him years ago, that’s the only reason someone like Megan even bothers staying under our roof. Otherwise, a warrior of his caliber would be standing at the top of Dawnhaven’s power structure
