Arion’s words made Martin slightly taken aback. He wondered if Arion was feeling offended to the point of risking his own life.

Arion had worked in his company for six months, and Martin had never once seen him display any particular talent.

Martin, who had long mastered basic martial arts, clenched his fists tightly, gave Arion a harsh signal, and said, “I’ll make you die in the most miserable way! I’m certain with just one punch, I can finish you off!”

Unfortunately, Arion regarded the clenched fist in Martin’s hand as nothing more than a tiny grain of sand, leaving him completely unfazed. His expression didn’t change at all, remaining calm since the beginning.

Martin hated Arion’s uncaring attitude.

“Hu!”

Martin’s fist, carrying a strong gust of wind, came crashing toward Arion’s eye.

As Arion felt the pressure of the strong wind, he quickly stretched out both arms, crossing them in front of his face to block Martin’s punch. Arion even slid back several steps on his feet before finally stopping.

“Hehe, Arion, I truly didn’t realize you had some skill. But it’s useless. Just now, I only used seventy percent of my strength!” Martin admitted he was still a little surprised that Arion had managed to block his punch.

After sneering, Martin’s other fist suddenly came with an even fiercer force! If Arion had been able to block the first one, this time, no matter what he tried, there was no way he could stop it.

“Nara, help me!” Arion called to Nara in his heart.

“Of course, My Lord,” Nara replied eagerly.

As soon as Nara’s clear voice rang in his mind, Arion suddenly felt a power not of this world surge into his arms. At that moment, his hands no longer obeyed his brain’s commands.

“Hurry! That punch is about to hit me!” Arion screamed inwardly.

The next moment, Arion didn’t even clearly see how his arms moved, for his fist had already collided hard with Martin’s.

Crack!

In Arion’s ears, the sound of breaking bones echoed. Without a doubt, it was Martin’s bone that had been displaced.

Even Arion was shocked. Just how much power did Nara possess? The girl truly deserved to be called a monster—or more accurately, a terrifying disaster!

“Arrgh!” Martin screamed in pain.

He staggered backward, clutching his wrist, not even knowing how many steps he had taken, as he only kept retreating. Then—Thud!—he suddenly fell to the ground.

Meanwhile, Arion felt that dreadful power vanish from his body. He had returned to his original self.

To Arion, this felt like a dishonest fight, since it wasn’t truly him who struck Martin. But he couldn’t deny—it was far too satisfying!

Arion wasn’t going to give Martin the chance to get up. With quick steps forward, he stomped on Martin’s chest and declared, “Mr. Martin, you’ve fallen. That means you’ve lost!”

Martin was too occupied with the excruciating pain in his arms. A wild energy was rampaging inside his body. He lay helpless on the asphalt, unable to move! This strange force terrified him deeply, especially with Arion trampling him underfoot.

Even though he had been utterly defeated, someone like Martin refused to admit defeat.

“Mr. Martin, it’s time for you to fulfill your wager!” Arion demanded.

Martin’s eyes widened in disbelief at what had just happened to him. Only when he heard Arion’s words did he snap back to reality.

He pressed his lips tightly together, signaling his refusal to speak.

Arion pressed his foot down harder. In a cold voice, he asked, “Well? Do you regret it?”

“Argh, Arion, stop using that power!” Martin cried in pain.

At that moment, the strange sensation in his body began to fade. Finally, Martin was able to release the voice that had been trapped with his pain.

But Arion showed no mercy. He bent down slightly and spoke with disdain, “Do you surrender!?”

“I… I will never surrender!” How could Martin Winzy ever give in? All his life, he had always trampled others beneath his feet.

Arion also knew Martin would never easily yield.

Slap!

Arion struck Martin’s left cheek and asked coldly, “Do you admit your defeat?”

Martin shook his head, refusing to acknowledge it.

So Arion kept slapping him. After more than a dozen slaps, Martin could no longer endure it. Fresh blood flowed from the corner of his mouth. He couldn’t hold on anymore. If he didn’t surrender now, Arion might truly kill him this way.

He no longer cared about saving face or about his luxury car. Martin hurriedly lowered his pride and pleaded, “I admit defeat, I admit defeat!”

Yet even after Martin surrendered, Arion didn’t lift his foot. He continued pressing it down and asked, “If you’ve surrendered, then…”

Martin was already overwhelmed, the earlier punch having pushed him to his limit. His chest felt tight, and if Arion pressed down any longer, his life might end right there. Not waiting for Arion to finish speaking, Martin hurriedly shouted, “This car is yours now! It’s already yours!”

All Martin wanted was for Arion to leave and go toward the car, so that he could breathe in relief.

Arion let out a cold snort and finally lifted his foot. But instead of even glancing at the Land Rover, he picked up a brick from the roadside and walked toward the front of the car with it in hand.

The onlookers had no idea what Arion intended to do. But the next moment, what happened made their jaws drop.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Arion smashed the Land Rover hard with the brick. With just two strikes, the windshield shattered into pieces. Arion didn’t even blink, nor did he plan to stop, continuing his blows relentlessly.

Within less than three minutes, the expensive, luxurious Land Rover had been wrecked beyond recognition by Arion. For the finishing touch, he hurled the brick hard at the top of the car.

Boom!

The front bumper of the Land Rover broke off and crashed to the ground.

He didn’t dare provoke her now.“Arion… who are you, really?!” Sandra demanded suddenly, eyes filled with suspicion.“You’ve already investigated me so thoroughly, and you’re still asking that?” Arion replied dryly, tension thick in the air.“Whatever. Just listen, stay close to Nadine. Don’t leave her side, no matter what happens,” Sandra said sternly, rubbing her temples as if her head were splitting open.“What happened?” Arion asked, frowning. Whatever could make this woman panic

“Where are you taking me?” he asked, gripping the car door handle tightly as the car roared forward. He began to wonder if Sandra’s car ran on gasoline, or pure alcohol, judging by the way she was driving like a madwoman.“Relax. I’m taking you to see your lovely lady,” she said with a smirk, eyes fixed on the road. “Nadine, the woman who actually sees you, this scoundrel, as something precious.”Arion blinked, confused. He didn’t know Clarissa that well. Was it really fine to have so many people suddenly staying at her place? Sandra snorted, clearly unconvinced. “Really? You think I’m going to believe that nonsense?” Arion just shrugged, not bothering to argue. “See? I told you, you wouldn’t believe me.” Sandra folded her arms across her chest, her gaze sharp as a blade. “These four men all have gunshot wounds. Do you think I’m blind?” Arion remained calm, as if he had anticipated the question. “Actually, there were five of them. Four here were already weakened, and the last one… he killed them. I just took the opportunity and struck when he was off guard. The rest… you can see for yourself.” Without hesitation, Arion pointed out the location where the fifth man had fallen. Sandra fell silent for a moment, her expression pensive, as if she was starting to consider that Arion might not be entirely lying. “Chec

She quickly ordered her team to secure the scene, then approached Nadine with concern. “Nadine, are you all right?”Nadine shook her head faintly, regret shadowing her eyes.Sandra, usually cool and composed, softened her tone, perhaps because of her friendship with Nadine. She even turned to Olafia kindly. “Don’t worry. We’ll keep you both safe,” she assured.“Thank you… I’m all right,” Olafia replied, her voice steadier now though still trembling.“Olafia, your house is a disaster, it’s not safe to stay here. The station has a staff residence. I can arrange two rooms for you,” Sandra offered thoughtfully.Nadine shook her head gently. “Sandra, you have work to do here. Don’t worry about us. I’ll take Olafia to Clarissa’s place.”“All right,” Sandra agreed, signaling two officers. “I’ll have my men escort you.”But before they could move, Arion interjected, “That won’t be necessary.
