009 Yin and yang

Xu Qing had already been terrifying on his own and yet when he used phantom charge, his power doubled exponentially…

It was more like two Xu Qings' were attacking at the same time with just enough power.

Kui Luo's heaven finger was shocked because the visualized finger started to crumble as its enormous frame caused the air to warp. 

But other than that, his crumbling finger could not achieve anything else before completely collapsing. 

Kui Luo did not know if any other battle techniques under the universe realm would help him defeat Xu Qing. 

A person's cultivation realm can accommodate the technique that it is compatible with so when Kui Luo had been a realm of man, he had learnt the realm of man battle techniques. But the moment he ascended to the realm of earth, the realm of man battle techniques could not leave even a single scratch on a realm of earth cultivator, showing the diverse difference between them… 

So Kui Luo did not know whether Xu Qing was in the universe realm…in fact, his heaven's finger could not cause Xu Qing to shake which means that he was either a rank higher or two ranks higher. 

A cold, stifling and chilling fear penetrated the depth of his heart and soul. 

Xu Qing smiled darkly as he used blink to close in the distance. 

"It's good that you're realizing it…so do not resist."

That smile did not leave his face and Kui Luo felt like the cold hands of death were already upon him…what remained now is to snuff out his soul.

Despite his tied tongue, he managed to choke out a few sentences. "P..please do not kill me."

Xu Qing chuckled. "It is already too late to beg me." 

At that moment, it felt as if Xu Qing was tapping into every power within him which made the scorching hot desert to chill and a piercing red aura to fill the place. 

The next thing Kui Luo realised is, something enveloping him and all he saw was blackness and numbness.

Kui Luo had just been killed and the moment he did, Xu Qing absorbed his essence as Kui Luo's body dissipated into thin air particles. 

After that, Xu Qing sat down in the middle of that desert as he started to cultivate, going through the six cycles of the universe realm one after another.

There was nothing more important than going to the immemorial estuary… if he ever wanted to grow exponentially, then he needed to go there. 

In fact, he already had a hunch that Bai Xue would be taken to the immemorial estuary to represent the Sky Beyond sect as the newest genius after the previous one's tragic fall so Xu Qing did not dare go there as Xu Qing. He needed an alias…an undercover persona that he might use to enter the estuary.

Just like that it is almost a year after Xu Qing had killed Kui Luo and absorbed his cultivation essence. 

Only now did he realise how deep the Precelestial realm really is because for one year, all alone in this hot and scorching desert he had been absorbing vitality Qi from the universe until finally, it was time to break through.

When he reached the last cycle, he did not need to break any barrier…he just stepped in as his aura distorted.

Finally opening his eyes, he spent another one year learning battle techniques or relearning his previous techniques. 

When that was done, he reappeared back into the human settlement only to realise that many things had happened in the course of these two years.

First of all, Bai Xue had gone to the immemorial estuary, then secondly, Xu Fan, his younger brother had become an elite in the universe realm. 

Finally, it was Kui Luo's disappearance. And the news actually traced that he had last attacked Xu Qing and they simply vanished into thin air together so when he reappeared, a lot of people gathered him as they started to question Kui Luo's whereabouts.

Even the ying yang ancestor decided to visit him at that moment.

Xu Qing chuckled seeing the old man staring at him with a murderous expression on his face, almost like he would kill Xu Qing if he didn't start speaking.

"You ungrateful brat, even after helping you, despite the fact that you're useless. You killed your own brother, a born genius of your own sect." 

Xu Qing did not know why sounded so funny to him, I mean, how can a bully, Kui Luo be his brother. 

"Ancestor ying yang, I do not know where he went to. The fact that we disappeared together doesn't mean that I did something to him. As a realm of man, what can I do to a Universe realm cultivator?" 

Xu Qing laughed again, as he continued to lie through his teeth. If not for the ancient god's sword, it would be difficult for a Precelestial realm cultivator to hide their aura, yet the sword granted to him another ability..

The ying yang ancestor looked into Xu Qing's eyes and then said calmly– no anger, just pain.

"I cultivated Ying and Yang for 600 years. I escaped the ancient god's assault as one of the survivors after he attacked our Sky Beyond sect. Ying and Yang is more like karma, the karma tied between you and Kui Luo. I have Kui Luo's essence and I have yours. When I trace his death with ying yang, it leads to you. Are you really only a realm of man cultivator or have you been hiding a lot of power?"

Xu Qing's expression finally changed…he did not understand ying yang, but the person who understood had told him what it can be used for…so he realised how terrifying it is.

However, if there was anything Xu Qing understood about ying yang, then it is that Xu Qing has every right to deny whatever has been deducted by ying and yang. 

Ying yang wasn't karma, neither was it destiny. Rather it is something that designs one's karma, but only if the person involved, chooses the right path…either they accept it or deny it. 

Xu Qing's expression turned serious as he stared into the ying yang ancestor's eyes and he said…

"I did not kill him."

Immediately, the ying yang ancestor's eyes widened and he spat out blood realising that his ying yang deduction had been destroyed.

That was one terrifying flaw that ying yang had, and the worst part is that…this flaw is actually see-through.

One just has to deny.

The ying yang ancestor immediately went offensive as he grabbed Xu Qing on the throat.
