Chapter 1: Wounded Traveler

This mountain is secluded for a reason, rationally no one in their right mind would walk in this mountain, since these mountains are encircled with thick forest and on its peak, powerful beasts inhabit it.

Suddenly out of the blue, a small meteor pierce the sunny bluish sky, it descended *under the sun.

(*on the earth)

Upon landing, Boom! The ground trembles and leaves a massive crater on the soil,as the mountain remains unfazed from the meteor dismounted on the ground 2 km away from its point of origin.

As the surrounding shake and the mountains were immobile, The birds panicked from a strong massive wave of shock. "cawl3x" the birds ascended in disperse, animals, beast, monster with 4 legs and 2 legs ran away from the source of the tremble.

A wounded traveler saw the incident, he drew near and checked what happened, what he saw was a cute, majestic,and out of the blue baby boy. White skin as snow, long dazzling eye lashes, a beauty that even the gods will go green in envy, a long pointy nose, dazzling aqua marine eyes, platinum blonde hair and a perfect feminine build.

He was dumbfounded by what he saw, so he took the baby without suspicion and traveled with him.

(---Before the meteor fell, time frame---)

There were lots of beasts and monsters, in this mountain most of them were strong, the only thing he could do was run and hide as much as he could.

When he was traveling alone, he encountered a black yellow striped tiger, its size is similar to a tiger in the 21st century, it has a yellow stripe, instead of black, and it's background color of its skin is peach black, instead of orange, it's almost identical to a tiger and yet it isn't, because of it's peculiar appearance. Add to that it has two huge overlapping fangs at the front, like a saber-toothed tiger from "*Ice age" and has a tail of a lion, which can be assumed that it is a chimera or hybrid.

It was ferocious, agile and was ready to bear it's fangs and claws, it's claw was able to scratch on his abdomen, as he was on the ground ready to be killed by the beast, fortunately a meteor suddenly fell from the sky, the beast saw the meteor descended approximately, *He thought that it would hit against *Him, in fear the yellow striped tiger ran away.

(*He/Him: used as the object of a verb or preposition to refer to a male person or "animal" previously mentioned or easily identified.)

*He was spared thanks to the meteor coincidentally appearing on time.

(*He: referring to the traveler.)

"Ugh!" he was badly hurt, he applied pressure to his abdomen with his right palm, he stood and went to where the meteor descended.

(---After the meteor descended---)

He took the baby wrap it with his spare cloth, his left hand hold the baby, while his right hand is compress to cover the wound,

He walked slowly in a stealthy manner, looking for a place where he could find a shelter, upon walking for a few hours he found a cave. It was below mid on the cliff and the ground, the cave was a vast mammoth, the extent was long, cold and pitch black, when he checked it using a detection aura with a radius of 1 km it was empty and no beast living in it.

When the traveler arrives at the mouth of the cave he drops the baby, tears a piece of his used green cloth and covers his wounds to compress the affected area, and then he looks for woods to warm their bodies, while looking for food to eat.

The ecosystem they were in was perilous, since this thick green forest is at the center of jungle where the mountain peaks are located, and it is divided into two category, the inner and outer forest, right now they are in the inner forest, therefore he fall in the category of a prey, instead of a hunter. Since the beast living in the inner part is strong, good thing he found a fruit to fill his stomach.

A prey cannot hunt as a hunter, despite wanting to eat meat he had no choice, but to accept what he currently has right now.

He had nothing in him, he was a low level fist body refiner, level 8 late stage of body refining and a scout, he doesn't even have a bag, since he lost it while defending himself from the attack from the beast.

He carried a small amount of wood, enough to last for a night, on his palm were two sets of fruit he carried for consumption.

In his return, to his surprise the baby was calm and composed, and he believe that this baby is an unordinary for it to fall from the sky.

["I don't know the origin of this child, if he is nurtured well, I bet he will be born as a dragon or a tiger under the sun, no a greater existence that even greater, to him a dragon is just a snake and a tiger is just a kitten before his very own eyes. He must be an existence that can shake the murim world"

"Hahahaha"

"Unfortunately, I'm afraid I can't raise him"]

(---Camp fire in the cave--)

Several hours pass by and the night emerge,

He went outside from the cave and look at the starry sky,

[ "I don't have a milk on hand, how am i supposed to feed him, so far he fell asleep comfortably with an empty stomach, I feel envious"]

He shouted, "YOSH! starting tomorrow i'll leave you to someone who is rich and powerful"]

(---The sun rise from the north---)

Open his eyes, "looks like it's time"

He jumps via wall climbing on the cliff above the cave, upon reaching he looks for a tree taller than the rest. He climbs on it, and steps on the edge of the tree. He looked and scanned the topography. He saw a small figure upon concentrating his kii in the eye. He saw the city crystal clear 50 km away from him to the southern east.

He jumped in the ground with acceleration, he went in the cave back to take the baby, and went in the direction towards the southern east.

On their journey towards the southern east, they didn't encounter lots of beasts, and some of them were weaker ones.

["I bet this area towards the city are probably being cleared by a high level mercenaries]

Upon reaching 40 km he saw a road trail, he followed the direction towards the city, after reaching 3 km towards the city, he saw a carriage in front of him, he went at the side of the path and stood and observed at the back of a tree.

The carriage was encircled by 4 low level soldiers armed with weapons, while facing low level six beasts.

(5 gray wolves and 1 alpha wolf)

He saw the situation become grim, the body is willing to help, but the mind refuses.

["If I help my chance of survival is slim since I'm wounded, what about the baby" (clench his teeth)]

When the soldiers were fighting, he was found standing at the back of a tree dozing off, thinking of the best possible solution.

One of the four of the escort soldier shouted,

"HEY! Lend us a hand we are outnumber, our madam will reward you if you help us"

["darn, I was found out, either way I have no choice if they are finished, I'll be the next target by the beast, and who's going to raise the baby if I die?]

He rushes forward, and punches the leader of the pact in a blind spot, the beast leader faint and the beasts are in disorder and move next to another direction to help, Maoyi ( soldier C, leader of the unit) shouted, "WATCH OUT!" 

The traveler rush at Shindi's (soldier B) back and fill the vulnerable spot, where he is about to be attacked on the blind spot.

A few moments later,

All the wolves are dead on the ground, not knowing that a single beast leader will recover its consciousness and feign to be dead.

Shindi (Soldier B) said, "Thank you! I almost died back there".

Maoyi (Soldier C) was thankful also, "Thank you for helping us, we would like to repay you after we arrive at the capital"

He reply in return, "it's not a big deal, let me help you extract the beast core"

He approached the dead beast leader with a knife in hand, as he drew near, the beast leader's eyes opened in rage, he was shocked while left unguarded "wah...!" The beast jumped against him and bit off his neck. With his last remaining consciousness he stabs the beast leader on the head. And with last will, he breath heavily as  he was going to say his last words,

" please take good care of the baby he doesn't have anyone to rely"

Urus (soldier D) reply, "rest assured"

coach man lament on the tragedy on what happen to the young traveler, " what a pity, such a young man, I reckon this is the end of his journey"

Maoyi order around those soldiers around him, "take the baby we need to hurry, our madam is unconscious and needs to see a doctor"

"the rest go hurry make a proper burial to our savior, we can't stay long, the beast will be drawn by the smell of blood"

Geris (Soldier A) took the baby and went to the carriage where the madam lay unconscious, and gave him to a handmaid taking care of the madam.

He give the baby to the servant and he said, " please take good care of the baby the way you serve our madam"

After burying the traveler, they went directly to the Capital with haste.
