Chapter 7 - Betrayed

A faint sound, like a gibberish hit his ear, making his heart leap in fear.

With a racing heart, he halted!

The voice was feminine, screaming with a mixture of little pain and joy.

It was the same sound Jin used to hear from Jack's room whenever his girlfriend comes visiting. Could Anabelle be with a man!

No, she can't! She loves him to the moon and star.

Jin shook the thought off and pressed forward. Each step he took towards the bedroom brings the gibberish voice more audible to his hearing!

Slowly, he held the door knob and clutched it, revealing a dim room because the curtains were closed but the outline of two people bouncing on the bed was comprehensive!

“Ahh..Ouch..Alex!! You're hitting the spot.. yeah..” the gibberish voice continued ecstatically.

Jin stood still at the door. His hand quivered visibly on it. The voice he just heard is that of Anabelle!!

His heart ruptured!

Pain and betrayal swell in his heart!

Like a roaring thunder, Jin shouted, his voice cutting through loudly.

“Ana!!!!” He had called, breathing heavily.

The two naked figures jumped out of the bed.

Ana hurriedly grabbed a duvet and covered up herself. She slid the curtain aside, bringing in light from outside.

She trembled visibly to the sight of Jin.

“An..drew!” She called surprisingly. “What are you doing here?” She was hell surprised to see him at the door.

Jin was on fire! His eyes were filled with rage.

 “How dare you Ana!! How dare you do this to me!! You promised it'll be you and I alone.. who..who is this guy here?” He angrily pointed at the man at the corner.

The man stepped forward, his posture challenging.

“I should be asking you mehn! Who the heck are you! Do you know you just fucking disturbed my fun!!” He roared.

“Alex..no..don't shout at him.” Ana stepped in between the two. “Tell this fool here to get lost!!” Jin shrieked.

Alex chuckled, with a mockery grin crossing his lips. “Who the heck are you!? Some fucking authorities!!? Tell this bastard to get out before I lose it!”

Anabelle stood in between the two guys without knowing what to do. He looked at Alex and looked at Jin.

“Ana, tell this guy to leave, now!!” Jin raised his voice.

“You don't shout at me Andrew! You don't!!” Anabelle barked at him, firing an aggressive glare.

Jin was stunned.

“Get out!!”

Anabelle spilled the words out before he could come out of his shock.

“An..”

“I said get lost!! Are you deaf!!” She barked at Jin and stepped closer to him.

“Who do you think you are?! Oh I don't need to ask.” She chuckled mockingly.

"You’re just an online beggar! A failure in his family!!”

Jin was shocked. Ana was mocking him about his past.

“Ana, you are..” Jin was talking but Ana interrupted him harshly.

“Yes Andrew! I'm not interested! I was never interested! I only see you as someone who wipes away my boredom and I paid you! Do you remember that!” She continued, sneering out loudly.

Jin shook his head. He couldn't believe Anabelle never loved him.

 All the promises!

All the secret night calls!

It was all to mend her boredom! Oh no!

“And who lent you this suit? Did you steal one of Jack's clothes to impress me?” She eyed him disdainfully and Chuckled.

“I’m really impressed Andrew. Keep it up. Keep stealing till you get caught like a rat! Poor thing!!” She spat.

“Is this the guy you told me borrows a lot?” Alex chipped in with a mockery tone.

Anabelle laughed softly. “Yes he is.” She answered.

Alex eyed him in disgust. “Such a hopeless being!”

“ Do you have an extra $50 there? Throw it at him so he'll pick and leave!” He chuckled.

Jin smiled slightly, though boiling in anger and drowning in pain but he knew it was over and he wouldn't care.

“Fine! I'm leaving but mark my words Anabelle foster!” He pointed at her.

“You’ll regret every second, every word and every reaction you gave me here! I swear, you will!

Meanwhile, in the car, Chloe kept glancing at his wrist Watch restlessly, expecting the return of his master but he was nowhere in sight.

If it wasn't for his instructions, she could have gone after him because Jin had used up to an hour in the house!

“What is going on?” She glanced at her watch again, feeling restless.

She couldn't take it anymore. She knew she'd be disobeying her master and a brutal consequence might await her this time around but she didn't care.

She stepped out of the car after telling the driver. “I’ll be back shortly.”

The driver merely nodded.

 Impatiently, he turned the door knob and pushed the door open.

Taking a step into the house, she heard her master's voice.

“You’ll regret every second, every word and every reaction you gave me here! I swear, you will!”

She gulped hard wondering who her master was exchanging words with.

Curiosity took her further. She pressed forward, heading toward the bedroom.

First she caught sight of Jin's back and when she looked inside of the room, she froze!

“Alex!!” She called in surprise.

Alex is her boyfriend. The one she told Jin about.

Jin turned sharply, surprised to see her at the door.

“What are you doing here!! I told you to stay in the car!!!” He barked at her.

Chloe shivered to his voice and fell on her knees.

“I’m sorry mas..”

“Quiet!!!” He cut her off, stopping her from revealing his identity.

Alex and Anabelle were slightly taken aback by the drama they were performing but Alex suddenly laughed.

“I can't believe you have been a puppet to this poor thing here!” He directed his words to Chloe. “Did you know her? She just mentioned your name.” Anabelle asked him.

He laughed. “Yes. I do. She's just a maid who wants my attention but she's just a common maid who doesn't even deserve my friendship!” He said, his voice dripping with irritation.

“It fits both of them. A beggar and a maid!”

Anabelle tagged and they both laughed. “Sounds like an epic story!” They laughed again, their voice dripping with mockery.
