Chapter 6 - visiting his lover

Chloe, the maid stood before a mirror in one of the opulent rooms Jin gave her. She couldn't believe her transformation from her reflection in the mirror.

It was the same white shirt and black shirt she used to wear as a maid but it was a designed one and she had upgraded from a common maid to Jin's PA.

She is still in disbelief and shock because she had at least expected Jin to order the guards to kill her but he shocked her with his response.

Chloe couldn't help but think Jin had an in depth motive by making her his personal assistant. As she thought spiralled, a knock came on the door.

“Master Jin is waiting outside.” The voice of a guard came from outside, reminding Chloe that her task to her master had changed so she stepped out with a beating heart and joined Jin inside of the helicopter which took off immediately.

It was only Jin, Chloe and the pilot. No bodyguard!

Though Axel tried to follow him too and also plead with him to take two guards along but he refused because going with the guards would divert unwanted attention from people towards him.

Chloe couldn't look up where she sat beside Him. She kept playing with one of her fingers nervously with her head down.

Jin averted his eyes from the window of the helicopter and looked at her hand. Obviously she's nervous. He simply smiled and leaned back on the chair.

“You look beautiful in the dress.” He said with a slight smile.

Chloe forced a smile without raising her head. “Thanks.. master.” Her voice trembled. 

“Do you have someone you're eager to see? I mean someone who means the whole world to you.” He pressed further, surprising Chloe with the brewing conversation.

Chloe raised her head with a smile and nodded. “Yes master.” She still kept fondling her finger. Jin smiled at her reaction. “He must be so special to you.” He observed.

 Chloe looked at her for the pronoun he just used(he) “How do you know it's a he?” She asked, going with the flow and feeling more comfortable to speak with her master regardless of what happened earlier. 

Jib glanced at her with a smile. “Love does communicate. Only those who are in love can understand the language of love is speaking” He said smartly.

Chloe looked at him, admiring his intelligence. “If you understand love language that means you're also in love, right master?” Her gaze lingered on him but Jin put her in suspense, giving a slight smile as a response.

Chloe smartly concluded her master is in love and she can't wait to know who the lucky lady is.

During one of the online classes in the online University, Jin met Anabelle and one thing led to another before they started dating online.

“I can't wait to see you, my diamond prince, my world.” Annabelle would always chorus anytime they are on video calls.

That was the first time Jin ventured into a relationship and it wasn't a regret for him. Their love was divine. It blooms like a watered red rose flower.

Several occasions, Anabelle would send some bucks for Jin to use as his upkeep because he had explained his situation to him in the family. Sometimes $100..$200..$500...”

Anabelle is from a prominent and wealthy family. Just at the age of 18, she's already a CEO, heading one of the biggest companies in the city.

Today, Jin had decided to surprise her by visiting her, using the address she gave him during one of these numerous video calls.

The helicopter landed at the fringe of the city. A black tinted Hyundai Elantra was already there waiting for Jin. He could have taken a more luxurious car but the car before him is less flashy and would not divert attentions. 

“55, Johansson street.” He informed the driver at the start of the journey. “Yes sir.” The driver nodded and set the car in motion.

As they drove through the busy streets of Elf wood city, Jin couldnt help but recall how heartlessly his father casted him out of his house in the rainy night.

It was a night he won't forget. A cruel night that miraculously turned a night of elevation for him!

 He knew his family would thought..No, they're not his family.

The Dante family would thought he's dead or maybe wiped away by the current of the previous night flood or drowned by to dead but he's alive! He lives as Jin Hale, not Andrew anymore!

Nonetheless, the car located a parking spot along the road and pulled over slowly.

“Are we there?” Jin leaned forward and looked around.

“Yes master.” The driver asserted.

Just some metres away from the road is a modern bungalow which was the house which has the address Annabelle gave to Jin.

“Stay in the car, I'll be back. No matter how long I stay, don't step out.” Jin instructed Chloe before he stepped down from the car.

He exhaled deeply abd tugged on his suit before proceeding forward, heading in the direction of the building.

He couldn't help but wonder how Anabelle would feel when she eventually see him. She's be surprised. She might even jump on him, pulling him to a tight hug or even kiss him.

Jin smiled at the thought.

Getting to the door, he activated the door bell and waited patiently, stepping aside, anticipating someone to open the door. if not Anabelle.

After waiting without any response from within, activated the bell again yet no response. “Is she not at home?” He mused and at the same time, his hand gripped the door knob.

He gulped and clutched it, revealing a breathtaking living room. Chloe isn't less afterall. She lives the luxurious lifestyle.

Jin didn't expect less because being a CEO, she must live in the finest. This must be one of one of her cheapest house.

Jin thought, darting his eyes around till his gaze fell on a frame picture on the wall which has her portrait. She looks gorgeous and enchanting even in the picture.

He smiled after admiring her. He looked around the room but she was nowhere around.

 “She must be in her bedroom. She'll be so shocked to see me.” Jin muttered, heading towards her bedroom.

How would he know he'll be the one to receive the shockest encounter of his life!
