By those spilling voices drawn from behind, Inoyva detected a sudden movement of pig. Strangely enough, through a malfunction perhaps caused by the slight tremor, the doors opened a wide gap.

“And where are you going?”

Also, detecting unusual movement from the one pupil, the driver of the bus asked. Clear as day was his tone deeper in order to halt him from going away further.

Inoyva followed in pursuit. He was in an estranged position towards the only person he could possibly hope of conversing with.

“Pig…”

However as his unyielding gaze and voice reached, he took notice of the drastic expression displaying nervousness. Beads of sweat raced crazily down. This was a probably a panic attack, Inoyva thought to his self. Still, what kind of advice would be able to impart?

“Pig…”

SMASH! SPLAT!

It was in that moment, before the echo of Inoyva’s voice reached a slightly unnerved peer, there was a sickening sound of “something” smashing “something.”

“Hahh…”

Having obliterated the so-called pig’s body, a thing which was a height of 20 meters with long legs as if an insect, naturally stomped as it walked away. He then realized that the person having been a near distance away had been turned into utter remnants of a once-existing body.

Inoyva found dread wash over as he made an expression prompting awareness.

However before he could regal at a tragedy, another “collision” from behind would catch his attention.

A creature too monstrous to detail! With an effortless movement of its arm, the bus carrying the one driver and rest of his peers, was lifted across desolare air as if it was the equivalent of a piece of plastic.

“Wha.. What the hell is that thing?!”

“Uwakkk!”

“Ahhhh!”

The collection of worries, new and old would be at a display of a no prejudice at the strong creature.

For a second time before he could gather his thoughts, the monster quite literally ripped off the front end of the bus, engine and all with a slight action of the claws and thick hand. And what followed made him break into a cold sweat.

Inoyva shuddered.

Regarding the eventuality that they were entrapped inside, it almost appeared like a person having trying to get the last remnants of cereal out the box. With large nudges, they all moved accordingly towards the natural law of gravity and at the end, found their selves at the jaws of death.

A single arm crashed upon the ground, so too was a leg and then he contemplated right before him, were the flailing about body parts of classmates and the one driver. As their thickening blood danced in the air, Inoyva’s eyes widened.

The converse thoughts would be at a hasty speed.

Inoyva hurriedly dashed on forth away from such a calamity with a step.

What the hell… What the hell… What the hell… What the hell?

Prompting words would reverberate within the barriers of the mind whilst trailing off at the distance. Fortunately, the beast had its utmost attention enshrouded at the buffet of prey only an arm’s distance away.

However before he could take towards any form of shelter, he again realized.

All around, in almost each direction, the horrid bodies too monstrous to gaze at, the stomping of the earth with their large bodies and the fear which clasped upon a hold over him, Inoyva found himself lost for words.

Nevertheless, he was not complacent.

While the beads of tears ran down the length of his face, he could find safety within the walls of what appeared to be an abandoned building, left as quite a shell of its’ former glory.

Within the movement of a quick step or two, he hid his form away from this unsightly display of rampaging creatures.

Inoyva sought to quiet down his breath, while also lessening the beat of his heart that ran crazily.

***

In terms of societal circumstances, something the lone lad had witnessed in description would be far as a cry for help. But before the full wave of monsters hit at the core, there was a gathering crowd.

Having found something peculiar, they had swarmed around this anomaly that piqued at their interest.

“What the hell is this supposed to be?”

“It kind of looks like one of those creatures in anime!”

“Seriously, isn’t there supposed to be a cosplay event then?”

Scoffing at a particular creature walking on all fours, the pair found their selves at the forefront of the crowd. Well it was one thing to find interest in, but their assumption proved null. The very second that thing was aware of its’ surroundings and what kind of things flooded its’ sight.

“It probab…” The swift movement of a claw ripped his head in half from the mouth.

His friend to the side caught a glimmer of splattered remains, as he would also be adorned by the sharpness of those claws, killing him instantly, “Wha…”

The pair behind followed swiftly.

A wave of the claw, additional bodies were cut up.

“What the fuck?!”

Well, it wasn’t that hard in deducing what occurred.

“What is that thing?”

“Get the fuck out off the way!”

A monster crept forth clad of sharp claws and did away with the closest creatures that attempted to flee in a opposing direction. Multiple voices of panic flooded that space. However, turning around was not a pleasing action, either.

Large claws pierced through her eyes and mouth, exiting out the cranium of the skull.

“There are more of them?!”

Right as they would attempt to throw their selves away from a monster, a new change transpire as of that second that monstrous creature was no longer a single calamity. The road and surrounding buildings were crawling with these strange creatures having a similarity to a demon-like nature.

Corpses smoldered the ground.

***

‘I sat here for a while now. There shouldn’t be any lurking monsters…’

Finding the thought of escape out of this place play inside of his mind, Inoyva put his hand towards his mouth to lessen the degree of sound released from breathing.

Well, in contrast to those in broad daylight, the walls of buildings offered much needed support and shelter. He accounted for that since he found no traces of monsters heading his way. He ultimately was endowed with luck.

However at the corner of the eye, he caught signs of movement. And when fully focusing on whatever it may be: the emergence of a monster.

Immediately, he released a pale ghost expression.

Inoyva threw his self outside of that building; the creature following at hot pursuit.

Regardless of a head-start, the difference of their bodies proved to lessen the distance.

The timing of his actions was too slow, a big hand slammed at his side, catching him in its firm grip.

“Get off me!”

In saying so, this monster was not as large as the two he saw at first. It was relatively the size of large adult person, but there were traces of lacking strength in his fight.

“Get off me!”

He peered towards what the monster had its’ eye on.

It caught his miniscule arm in those sharp jaws after steady movement. Inoyva turned towards the head which was directing attention to the one hand, smashing, punching to what the result of damage was to no avail.

What followed was the deafening sound of a “crunch.”

Instantly, Inoyva felt a sharp pain surge within his body as if something had bombarded his nervous system. And he could nevertheless tell what that pain was caused.

The monster let go of a grip, he thoroughly crashed down the ground.

With the hazing of dust being drawn into the air, Inoyva turned his eyes towards the “result.” From the cracking sounds and an appearance of his right arm in the jaws of a monster, fate had deemed a result.

He further shuddered; the lack of existence of the once long arm was gone, leaving a wound that released a thickened liquid.

And a pain so severe, he could lose consciousness that very second.

Even still, within that little body was the spirit of someone who wanted to live.

Whilst the monster made a meal of his limb, Inoyva wordlessly dashed away with a boost in step.

That kind of speed was irregular for someone who had lost blood of that quantity. Still, it could be accounted for of the adrenaline pumping throughout his veins that prompted the increase in speed.

This is a dream, right? Yeah, this is the unfortunate part that happens before waking up. Of course, I’ll be jolted back into reality when opening my eyes, my mother telling that it’s time to wake up, right?

A dream…

A dream…

A drea…

It was in that second when turning at the corner: a massive shadow loomed.

However said shadow was not generated from any large buildings, as that horrid thing destroyed said buildings…

His eyes tainted with a brown shade, peered far and wide whilst drastically widening. His heartbeat ran crazily. There remained a lackluster of joyous sensation in relation to dread washing over and the dreary ensemble of what the contents of reality were in store, silenced the lad.

This was neither a figment of imagination nor a dream, as every scattering gaze near attained a non-existent hold over their wills to live and to even fight against what would almost appear to be a… moving mountain.

Leaving a picturesque scene, its monstrous and colossal body over a height of 50 meters accompanied through by a lifeless gaze that expelled towards ground-level, rendered every living creature within a near distance, unmoving and only awaiting for an eventual de

After all, one of the strong Legions would have obviously encountered and fought Abyss of a difficult rank exactly like this one or maybe a horde much more fierce. “…” To that area, at the outskirts, he gazed far and wide while gliding through the air. Certainly those could be reinforcements from other Legions that could have finally reached the battlefield to offer some much needed support. They came after the climax already reached peak and now just helped in cleaning up the scraps left. Scraps of the defeated horde when compared to the initial force when the first 5 Legions entered the fray still posed a threat if they could run hurriedly and unchecked. And also, the citizens who lived there obviously wanted to return to their former homes and lives.Following that, the female Knight’s lips opened.“Clean it up.”Immediately, all gathering forces diverged into different directions as if they cut through the air like bullets. With the head, the leader of the horde of Abyss, the boss defeated the proceeding underlings it reigned over would scatter in every direction. Abyss gathered into a single formation known as a horde but due to their animalistic traits, they sometimes strayed from said formation to essentially do whatever they desired. And not necessarily to execute their role of being soldiers or guards since Abyss could care less about what occurred to their brethren. If they found prey to fill their stomachs, everything else was a bother.Except for the boss, the remaining monsters were ruled over. With an iron fist and understandable power in hand, the boss acted as a beckon, a sort of antenna that coordinate all movements in the horde and initiated for their formation to consist of the outer layer and mid layer for the purpose of fighting and pillaging enemies and prey, but still leave enough room for it to not be in the firing line. In that sense of train of thought, it was a strategist feigni

The boss was the strongest in a horde and noticing the sheer number of Abyss that crawled through the streets and everywhere else, they would be commanded. And a slightly capable boss could not maintain control of all those numbers. That glinted at a possibility at least that this one sole humaniod monster could potentially be a C-rank Abyss. As such, letting it go could be detrimental to the counterattack.A repeat of past events, the Knight would disappear like before as if she turned invisible. What was not clear from that point was that she would not let it escape. Up until then, the boss felt like a lesser individual that grasped at straws but now, a feeling of being trapped like a plaything before receiving a fatal strike became its reality. Suddenly, the boss felt a painful sensation as if its limb was being crushed. It was not an attack, but a hold over its left arm. The Knight once more appeared from thin air to the left side.Obviously, her power was unmatched. She used

  • Chapter 68 - The Strongest 2

The boss expected a difficult fight, but this was rather not interesting in the least. If the opponent already figured the gap in numbers between them, she might have turned tail in order to save her own life or even call for further assistance. A difference in the overall forces ended up being the deciding factor. The boss would smirk but then notice something aloof with the stationed soldiers on the ground. A passing gust of wind blew slightly. In its insignificance, a rising tension among the Abyss lowered, this would guarantee the victory. But then, one head out of the heads among the stationed soldiers seemed to fall off the body and land to the ground. The next soldier near also found its head proceeding to land on the ground like a ball and roll over. Blood immediately spilled out of the decapitated bodies and finally fell to the earth. Surprisingly, another group lost the command of their bodies and fell, partly due to the heads that landed to the ground first. As if
