Chapter 10: The god destroyer

"We have to get out of here." Grain grabbed his wrist, pulling him along.

They ran through a large hallway on a carpet of red roses. It had large painted windows and golden chandeliers.

It was an enchanting palace.

Statues of faeries hanging everywhere. With water pouring from their lips.

Grain threw a large door down. Shocking coming from a girl her size, the roof was burning down.

At the end of the large room, filled with creeping trees, was a large throne.

Made of gold, covering it were a million vines. With strange flowers made of crystals.

Grain walked in. "Come on, don't gloat."

He moved like a ghost, fascinated by the beauty of the room. In the room, Grain seemed to radiate a whole different aura.

A sweet-smelling aroma came from the candles floating in thin air. It smelt so good.

Suddenly, Grain wrapped a thin piece of clothing around his nose. "Careful, that sweet aroma will dull your senses."
