Marcus' throat caught for a splitting second, before he gushed. "Yo, it's a fucking Royce Rolls," He screamed. "Outside our hostel!"

Dylan dropped the pants in his hand, heading for the window with a spiking curiosity.

"You must be kidding, Marc," He was saying as he pressed forward, towards the window.

His jaw dropped in astonishment. "It— it's a Royce...rolls...." His words were incoherent. "...that's money at our door step, but definitely we can't be their host. Some rich rookie on campus, maybe. Or a polished guest or parents who came to see some wards."

Outside was buzzing. Never had a Royce Rolls pull over in the school, even though the school is more of rich kids. But Royce Rolls was beyond their normal lifestyles.

It was spectacular.

Gasps rolled over the air, girls squealing in awe, some posing not too close, almost cautious of getting close to the coal black Royce Rolls that gleamed unnaturally under the light, a few guys from kings hostel whispering words like "money on the move"

Phones hung mid-air streaming the exotic car.

A group of girls— three, whispered among themselves, drooling over the Car.

"This is what I mean when I say Car," One tossed her hair behind as she squealed. "I can't wait to see the owner of the luxury. He's my catch." She adjusted her mini gown.

"Your catch, Huh? He's not going to resist me. I'm going head-first for him." The second girl with fixed lashes and manicured nails said in determination, adjusting her appearance to look more catchy.

The last girl, Rosa, with nose piecing chuckled sharply, mocking the girl's words. Her eyes gleamed with assurance and hope as she gently pulled her dress up a bit higher such that her inner thigh was nearly visible.

She flaunted her beauty, rolling her eyes on the two girls like they had failed in their scheme.

"I'm the most beautiful, sexy,....am hotter than fire," She purred, her voice rolling gently, seductively, as she squirmed practically. "I'll have the heart of the charming prince in the Car burning."

But how would they know.

The guy they've once humiliated, lashed derogatory words at, the boy who was less significant than trash. He was the one— Dominic Reid. He owns the Car.

The Royce Rolls stood there like sleeping beats, polished accents gleaming under the natural light. The plate was gold, private, the kind that only executives mount to important gatherings.

Dominic walked out at that moment, leaving Marcus and Dylan still gaping from the window.

He approached the car, each comment from the clustered students picking in his ear as he walked casually with gentle stride. He smiled very slightly, a knowing smile, wondering about the depth of their obliviousness.

Dominic reached out to the door handle, when a strong hand tugged at his shirt, dragging him with force that made him stumble back, but he caught himself in time before a fall.

Rosa loomed, her eyes simmering with rage, her face twisted ever so derisive that line formed his forehead . She'd always detested Dominic, but seeing him about to touch the car ignited a different fire of disgust in her.

"What the heck do you think you're doing, Dom," She hissed. She tossed her hair back, rolling eyes on him in detest. "You want to touch the car? You think it's the beat up car your papa got at his scrapyard?"

Laughter rang!

  • $30 million price ransom

Inside of a long abandoned warehouse skittered with planks and cartons. The ambiance was dim, the kind that's creepy for any souls, and the location was farther away from the metropolis, at the fringe of the city where internet connection had been severed, signals completely snapped. In summary, the connections had been cut off entirely. No call access. No signal. This place was designed by Tristan Cole to Carry out his dangerous operations, and unfortunately...maybe unfortunately for him, Vanessa became his next target. In the centre of the hall was Vanessa, her hands tired to the armrest of the chair. Her head dropped low, seemingly unconsciousness. The smell of cigarettes hit in the air as smoke curled in the air from a cigarette clipped between Rico's finger, piercing faint red light into the darkness. His height was average, but he loomed, scary like a shadow, his eyes marked with scars that could make a kid wet his pants. He pulled out the cigarette from his lips. "Wake her.

  • The assailants and Vanessa

Vanessa's car tore through the night along a quiet street, her knuckles paled on the steering wheel as she held it tight like her life depended on it— which of course it does. On the next seat was her phone, glowing with Dominic's name. He was the only one she thought of calling at that moment. She'd noticed a car following her from behind since the moment she went to Hakkasan. That same car had been on her tail when she left the restaurant too. She'd been uncertain if actually she was being followed, and so she accelerated the car and turned another corner only for the car to take her direction too. Fear ran her blood cold. She kept glancing at the side mirror. The car headlamp was off, but she could see it through the streetlight. "What am I gonna do. What am I gonna do." Dominic wasn't picking her call. With a racing heart, she quickly typed text on her phone with shaking hands. "I'm n dangee." It wasn't so correct but it was comprehensive enough. She sent the text to Dominic quic

  • A call to conflict

Connor's phone buzzed. His heart seemed to pause for a long time but it was fleeting, before it skipped a beat. It was his dad calling. Why now? Why all of a sudden when he should be in deep slumber in his bedroom.Hesitations flickered in his eyes, his finger shaking on the phone screen. For what reason could his father be calling by that late hour of the night? The symphonic rhythm of the music suddenly faded in his ear, the chatters turned to mourning in his ear.Rosa leaned closer.
