Chapter 12: Bloody Message

Inferno's voice echoed through the grand hall, his tone harsh with anger. "I am Inferno, the messenger of the great Grimnar, the ruler of the dark covenant," he declared, stepping closer to Vulcan. His eyes blazed with fury as he threw the letter onto the floor.

Vulcan, without moving from his throne, used his magic to lift the letter. It floated toward him, and he snatched it out of the air with a flick of his wrist. As he unfolded the letter and read, a smirk crossed his face. He looked up at Inferno, whose face was twisted with rage.

"To Vulcan, the mighty blacksmith of the gods," Vulcan read aloud, his voice dripping with mockery. "I've heard of your victories, your power over fire and steel. But your time of triumph is ending. I challenge you to battle at the Forbidden Valley. There, I will prove I am the true ruler of the immortal realm. I look forward to seeing your head on a platter of gold, a sign of my dominance."
