Everything went normal today. Ran to school, did my easy school work, went to lunch, and then to the library. People even acknowledged my existence and new height but that didn’t ease my worry.
The Black Listers are missing and I’m searching everywhere before lunch is over.

I even swapped out mind-reading for paralysis. I thought about magic missile but…I rather not risk it.
Eventually, I come to find the truth at the last place I wanted to be. The place where I did the unthinkable.

Right before me, my friends are being beaten to an inch of their lives. All…because of me. Because I fought these 3 and got off the black list. I won’t let this happen!

One of the 3 stepped up and tried to intimidate me. But, I don’t feel fear like usual. Whether because of my height or because I dealt with them before, it doesn’t matter.
“Hey, doesn’t this guy seem taller than usual?”
I look towards my friends who are barely breathing. Only Anthony is somewhat conscious. These fucking monsters! I could end this now but these fuckers…

“What are you doing man, it’s Napoleon.”
“Shut up, that actually hurt.”
“We’re not going to help you with that midget.”

He bounces back with a left hook which I barely dodge. I can…see the punches but only barely.
“I don’t know what you did before but we won’t let you do it again.”
Nao: “You mean this?”
I wink and make a small fire appear in front of the bully.
“The fuck!?”
Before he stumbles too far I give him another punch to the face knocking him down next to the wall.
Nao: “You like kicking people when they’re down right?”
I use the wall as leverage and kick him hard and fast. The fast, the gut and more. I put everything into stomping his face into the dirt where it belongs.
You know…this feels….really good.
*Bash*
“Get off him you freak!”
Now the other 2 come in and tackle me to the ground. I feel a tinge of disappointment but that quickly vanishes. I’ll just do the same to these 2.
“Hey dude, you okay. Bro, dude’s out.”
“You’re going to pay for that!”
Nao: “That’s what I should say!”
I give the one on top of me a blow to the chin, knocking him off. The other one takes that chance to kick me in the head.
Nao: “GAH!”
That hurt! I should’ve boosted my endurance but it doesn’t matter, I won’t get knocked out from this.
I quickly get back off the ground and counter the second kick with a groin punch.
“Aw, fuck! Wh-”
I kick hard enough to knock some teeth out before being punched by the other one. I bite my lip and counter with another punch.
I didn’t care about using magic anymore, I just want to make these bastards fill pain. I pushed through my pain and delivered a flurry of blows to them one at a time. Making sure to narrowly dodge every hit, I countered them with wild jabs and kicks.
“Bastard!”
One of them tried to pin me to the wall but I kicked him in the gut but that was I good moment for the other to come in.
*Punch*
Nao: “Guh”
“You’re still that same old little Napoleon. Can dish it out now but….*Pant*… you still can’t take it.”
I spit out some blood and counter with a leg sweep knocking him down. I get on top of him and start beating his face into the dirt.
“Get off of him!”
Nao: “Guh….”
He’s…choking…me…from behind. I try to get him off but I don’t have a good position. The one below me is now starting to recover too…I won’t allow that!
Nao: “Enough of this!”
I put a hand on the arms around my neck and use paralysis. Instantly, he screams in pain as if lightning struck him.
“W-What the hell, I…can’t move…”
I remove his arms and punched him out of the way. Now…I can focus.
“W-Wait, Napoleo-”
Nao: “Stop calling me that!”

Ohhh, I think felt something break that time. This is the least they deserve after what they’ve done.
Maybe…I was wrong before. Why did I feel any guilt in killing inhuman creatures like this!?

I grab his face in a vice grip and swap paralysis for air bullet with my other hand. I start gathering air between my hand and his butchered face.
I’m going to blow a hole through his head. I can’t help but smile at those pleading eyes. They scream of regret, confusion, and terror.

Through my bloodshot eyes, I see Alyson and a bunch of other people looking at me with utter shock. But it’s Alyson’s scarred face that makes me realize what I’ve done.
I look at my hands covered with blood and torn skin. I begin shaking from what I was about to do again.
Nao: “What have I…”
???: “What’s this?”
Out of the group steps out a handsome guy with a slim but well-built body. His red eyes hint at something much worse than what I just went through.
???: “So you’re Napoleon, you’re taller than I expected.”
