He looked at them in shock.
" So I'm your young master?!" He said to himself, aloud " Yes, Boss!" The man responded in a synchronized shout. He blinked his eyes and let out an amusing smile. It felt so real, a part of him believed. He knew men as structured and disciplined as this won't be going about, playing pranks on him. They were clearly too expensive for that. But how did all this happen? If his father is really wealthy as proclaimed, why did he allow him to suffer? Why did he have to spend his childhood in an orphanage and suffer while his family was actually alive?! Did they resent him? Did they send him off for a reason. He couldn't understand Just then, his phone rang. " Good morning, Allen" the voice from yesterday said as Allen picked the call. Allen was elated. " You're right! You're right!!! " He could hardly contain his excitement. The voice smiled. " That confirms that you have seen the men, " " Yes. But if this is real. then that means the eighty million is also real! " he rushed. " Of course. But first thing first, followed the men. We have a lot to discuss " the man said and the call ended. Allen dropped the phone and noticed the bystanders watching. Every eyes was on them, and it would be better to leave this place. He allowed the men to take him into one of the cars and shortly after, the cars drove out of the neighborhood. Allen kept smiling as he relaxed his back fully in the car. The convoy moved smoothly through the city, slicing past traffic like royalty. Allen remained silent, but his heart drummed against his chest like a marching band. He’d never ridden in a car this expensive before, let alone been guarded like a VIP. He kept smiling to himself as the excitement spiked through him. Soon, they pulled into the grand driveway of The Imperial Hotels and suites, Allen’s jaw dropped at the sight. He had only seen this place on the news and in high society magazines. It was a place where billionaires hosted secret meetings, where presidents spent their nights when visiting. The hotel’s beautiful exterior shimmered like crystal under the sun, and silver doors opened without anyone touching them. They got down and walked towards the back, away from the main entrance. Allen followed without question. Uniformed staff bowed as the men led him through a side door, away from the main lobby. This section of the hotel was extremely quiet. So this is what having wealth feels like. Not just the money but the respect. They didn’t go through elevators like regular guests. Instead, a sleek private lift awaited them at the end of a guarded hallway. Moments later, Allen found himself before a penthouse corridor. One of the suited men knocked gently on the door. " We'll take our leave here," The men bowed and left. Just then the door clicked, and opened. Allen stepped inside. The room wasn’t as flashy as he expected. There were no gold statues, no excessive decorations, only simple decor and grandeur. He expected more from such a reputable hotel and wondered why people paid excessive fees for such a simple room. He heard someone cough and turned to see an old man in a cream-colored robe, seated in the middle of the room. The man smiled, like he was seeing someone he’d known his whole life. "Come, sit. We have much to talk about.” Allen obeyed without a word, sinking into the chair across from him. The old man studied him for a moment before chuckling softly. “You look just like your father… same stubborn eyes.”he laughed. Allen’s breath caught. " How did you know him?” “ i did a lot more than know him, I could write a full book about him.”the man smiked and looked out the windo, smiling as if his words triggered an old memory. Allen blinked and chose to stay silent. The man leaned forward. “My name is Edward Monroe. I’m your family's butler and also a direct assistant to your father ” He told Allen about his father's empire, how in his absence, he’d managed the sprawling network of businesses Allen had never heard of, let alone dreamed he could own. “Your father built brands that shook the world,” the man said. “Names like Vital Corp, Titan Media, and Traverse Technologies. You’ve watched their commercials without realizing your blood runs through their boardrooms.” Allen’s hands gripped the edge of the chair. His mind reeled. This was too much. First the huge money.. Now this? He had seen those huge companies heading the billboards, sponsoring global events. Titan Media ran the news channels he watched every morning. Vital Corp made the high-tech gadgets he could never afford. Traverse Technologies was behind the AI everyone talked about. They were giants, untouchable names in the country. And now he was being told he had a claim to all of them? Allen’s mind swirled. He sat back, stunned. “You’re saying… my father owned those?” he asked, voice barely above a whisper. The man nodded. Allen didn’t know whether to laugh, run, or faint. Nothing in his ordinary life had prepared him for this. The office typist boy, now heir to titans? It felt absurd. Sir Edward’s voice turned serious as he leaned closer. He told Allen that his father was not only a wealthy businessman but also the leader of a powerful mafia group. This organization handled dark and dangerous work for governments and powerful people. As the man spoke, a tear rolled down Allen’s cheek. His mind was elsewhere and his face held pain. The man saw Allen’s tears and leaned in. “What’s wrong?” he asked gently. Allen’s voice trembled. “I suffered. I grew up in an orphanage, thinking I was a nobody. Why did it take this long to find me? And where's my father?! He must have an explanation for this?!” Sir Edward sighed , wearing a sad face. “Twenty-six years ago, your father formed a mafia organization with two billionaires, Fredrick and Ian who came from powerful families after the Penthrone.” He paused. “But they secretly envied your father.” Allen frowned. “You knew about that?” “I tried to warn him,” Sir Edward answered “I told him they had dark motives, but he told me not to worry. I failed him.” Sir Edward felt guilty as he said this. Allen was confused but he listened. The man brought out his napkin and wiped his eyes. " How do you prove to me that what you're saying is real and not some made up story and where's my father! " he challenged when he couldn't contain his patience. Sir Edward sighed heavily.

You look a bit off," her mother asked, gently brushing a strand of hair from Ella's face.Ella forced a small smile. "It's nothing... I was just looking for Allen. Have you seen him?"At the mention of his name, her mother’s cheerful expression vanished, replaced by a scowl."Why on earth are you looking for that freeloader? When I came back this morning, he was nowhere to be found. I'm sure he left last night, probably in tears."Ella exhaled, not saying anything. Her mother narrowed her eyes "Wait... he didn’t sign the divorce papers, did he?"When Ella handed the letter to her mother, she took one glance at it and didn’t look the least bit surprised.“He signed it?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.“Yes,” Ella replied quietly. “And that’s what’s strange… The Allen I know would never give up so easily. He’d be here, on his knees, begging.”Her mother scoff

Effective immediately.”Mr Geraldine stood, pushing his chair back “You think you can just waltz in here and quit like you matter? You’re nothing, Allen. “Did you think I’d let you off that easy?” Grey breathed hotly against Allen’s face. Allen sighed and scratched his head . He was not ready for all this and had more pressing matters on his head. Take it. Buy whatever you want. Just let me leave in peace.” Grey’s face went pale. His voice rose, catching the attention of everyone nearby. “You clearly stole this!” he barked. “Black cards like this are reserved for the elite. Only men of prestigious reputation carry them. You think you can fool me? You’ll rot in jail for this! ” Laughter and whispers rippled through the crowd. Allen continued " If my father had all this… if my family was alive, why… why did I suffer like that? Why did it take so long? ” Sir Edward’s eyes grew distant, sad like someone who carried guilt for years. “Nineteen years ago, on a summer evening, your father took the whole family, your mother, your brothers, and you—out for a treat.” “Then the car… the accident happened. It was brutal. When we got to the scene, we only found the charred remains of your mother, and the bodies of your two brothers. Your father’s body too… but your body wasn't there.” " You were inside too, Allen... but somehow, you miraculously survived.” Allen’s heart raced. Maybe this was the reason he never remembered anything from his childhood. " We thought maybe… just maybe, you survived. But no one could trace where you went " “We searched everywhere. All we found was a torn piece of your father’s coat, stained with blood. Blood that traced back to Fredrick but the devil denied everything. He manipula
