Eli nodded subtly, taking in the details of the hotel a final time as he followed Selene. He felt a sinking feeling in his chest remembering how he had enjoyed his stay and might not get such experience again in a while.

Selene noticed his sullen expression, a slight smile passing across her face.

They finally got to the garage after so many turns and elevators. Eli wondered how he hadn't noticed it before, remembering that he had been drugged to get here.

“The guests that come here do not own cars?” Eli asked, surprised at the empty garage, safe for a car that he couldn't quite place from the distance.

“Oh, no, this is a private garage for the Aurelius immediate family members.” A slight chuckle in her tone as she responded.

“I have been the only person using it since Leonhart and Amarielle’s ….” Selene's voice cracked, not completing her sentence.

“You could also use it if you decide to pay the hotel a visit.” Selene continued.

“I have not said anything about taking over Aurelius.

Eli woke up the next day feeling refreshed ,his mind trying to recall when he had last slept this well and coming up blank. The bed had been soft, the lighting had been adjusted to help him sleep better, the air was clean with no particles in between, the environment had been quiet with nobody yelling at him and telling him what wrong he had done again, and the bed was big enough for him to roll in every direction. The only problem was that Elara wasn't there and so he had no one to cuddle up to, but that was not enough to change the fact that the night before had been the best he could ever ask for.He stood up from the soft king sized bed, stretching his back muscles and heading to the bathroom that Selene had directed him to through a message. He had woken up the night before, feeling pressed and wondering how he was going to locate the toilet, leaving him no choice but to text Selene when he could no longer control himself. He took off his robe, testing the temperature of the wat

To be honest, the thought of spending the night in the hotel didn't seem like a bad idea at all, as he was going to go have one night without hearing Selva’s nagging and shouting, but he didn't want to make Elara worry. At the same time, he couldn't contact her to tell him where he was because he didn't feel like he could tell her about Aurelius yet, not until he was certain about his information on Aurelius.Eli made his

They continued in this procession quietly till Eli and the woman at the end of the table were the only ones remaining.“I know you might be wondering if I truly believe your identity as Eli Thorne Aurelius, but I hav
