CHAPTER 15
THE WORKPLACE

Allen had been through life long enough to understand that people hated progress and freedom and he was going to do anything to protect what he had gotten now.

Glancing at the old world clock on his wall, Allen realised that he had over one hour left to get to the workplace, and the journey to the workplace was about thirty minutes.

He began tidying

up the place before he left.

Allen lived in a small, old, wretched house on the outskirts of the city. The house belonged to his parents, and that was where he had grown up with them until his mother was taken to the rehabilitation centre and his father was jailed.

Since then, Allen has continued to stay in this house without any hope of moving out or relocating to anywhere else.

Living in a house alone, he had no money to maintain the house or do renovations, so the house looked like there was no one there.

Almost half of the building had already collapsed and Allen had used old bricks and Woods to patch them up. He
