USER DECLINED

Although he maintained a calm face and a good composure as he worked, he was deep down, very scared and wondering what was going to happen next to him.

At this point, he felt very uneasy knowing that something was going to happen yet not knowing what exactly was going to happen to him.

Allen said a word of prayer silently within him.

SYSTEM: Mission failed, User Declined. Reward aborted. Punishment follows immediately.

Allen heard that from the system, and his heart skipped a beat.

Now, he was certainly going to be punished. In the midst of all of these people, and in the presence of Roland.

Allen paused what he was doing, knowing very well that in a few seconds, something bad was going to happen to him.

He gritted his teeth and remained steady for what was going to happen next.

SYSTEM PUNISHMENT

Allen wondered what punishment he was going to receive from the system this time as he waited for the worst.

Within a few seconds, he felt a tingly feeling in his waist, following a normal feeling.

Before he could say Jack, he felt a sharp excruciating pain through his waist down to his feet.

Allen involuntarily shouted loudly in pain as he broke down on the ground at once.

Roland heard the shout and looked at him.

Allen was lying on the ground and groaning loudly in pain.

The pain was so severe that Allen could not stop screaming.

Everybody had their attention on them at this point,

Roland held Alen by his hand and knelt down beside him.

“ Hey buddy, what is wrong with you? Hey, look at me. What is the problem?” Roland asked Allen in surprise

Allen could not talk as he kept screaming loudly in pain. However, he tried as much as he could not to indicate where he was feeling the pain for Roland to know.

All the customers who were around at that time gathered around Allen with the same questions on their minds at once. “ What is wrong with you”

Roland was clueless about what was going on and did not know what to do.

They all seemed restless as they did not know what was going on, and Allen was not saying anything that could help them know what was going on.

This went on for about a minute until Allen suddenly stopped screaming and began breathing heavily.

He still did not talk and remained silent.

By this time, a lot of others had gathered around them and were all wondering what was going on.

Roland was still kneeling beside Allen and rubbing his chest, thinking that was where the problem was.

Allen continued breathing heavily without saying anything for another minute before he calmed down and began breathing normally.

“I am hungry,” Allen said feebly.

Roland heaved a sigh as he quickly stood up to get some hamburger for Allen. Allen finally sat up on his own, and at that point, everybody went calm, just that they were all full of questions for him.

The common question on everyone’s mind at that point in time was just one, “ What is wrong with you?”

Allen took a bite of the food offered to him.

He had intentionally asked for food, so it was going to like it was hunger that caused his pain.

He planned it out as he lay silently after the pain subsided.

As Allen slowly ate the food, a lot of the people slowly left the scene, knowing that Allen was fine now.

Roland sat beside him and watched him as he ate.

“ What is wrong with you, man?” Roland asked Allen.

Allen heaved a sigh and began to speak.

“ I am okay. I have not taken in any food since yesterday, and I just felt a sharp, uncontrollable pain in my tummy” Allen replied.

He tried to cover up what had just happened to him and keep it a secret from Roland.

Roland fell for the trick and heaved a sigh of relief.

“ You should have said something. Are you okay now?” Roland asked Allen with a smile.

Allen nodded in the affirmative.

“ Okay, you can finish up your food and rest for now. Let me go and attend to the customers.” Roland said and stood up as he left to continue his work.

Allen sat down quietly as he munched the food slowly.

He was deep in thought about what had just happened

It was obvious that he could not keep this secret for a long time.

If he obeyed the system and worked with it, he was going to reveal his secret, and if he did not, he was definitely going to be punished and always would create a scene for himself.

Allen thought of the best way to take care of this without being known.

He could not even wish for the system to go away from him, knowing that the system could make him rich and strong enough to be able to face his enemies.

Allen knew that at the Subway station, almost every day, there was one kind of oppression or bullying one way or the other. It was becoming clear that the system was always activated when injustice was sensed.

This meant that every now and then at the subway station, he was somehow going to be required for a mission every day.

Allen ate silently and slowly as he thought about a solution for this.

After thinking hard without a solution, Allen stood up.

He had only found a temporal solution to this.

He planned on leaving the subway anytime the system was updated, then he would go hide somewhere and try as much as he could to endure the pain of the punishment and came back later to join his master like nothing had happened to him.

Although he was not sure whether or not this was going to work, he was certain it could help him temporarily and after that day, he had to find a permanent solution to the problem before he revealed his little secret.

He looked at Roland, who was busily selling to the customers around.

A sense of guilt washed over him for not being able to tell Roland the truth about what was going on.

He had been a truthful lad, but in this case, he was determined to keep this to himself, maybe until further notice, or when he was sure Roland would not freak out when he was told this.
