CRYSTALBORNE: Rise of the Elemental Monarch

CHAPTER 1. INVASION!!!, AWESOME GLASSES.

A terrible day came in the year 2030. When humanity was thrown into chaos. Huge spaceships dedsended from the sky all over earth. And from them emerged beings humans cane to know as kaiju.

These cold blooded aliens were creatures that had intelligence that were on par with that of humans.

This discovery caused panic among humans, Normally humans have always depended on their intelligence when going against their enemies but what were they to do when their current enemies possesed intelligence that were on par with theirs.

With the invasion of the kaiju humans also discovered the existence of magic and magical beasts. These magical beasts possessed 'cores' or as humans came to call them 'beast crystal'.

These crystals when refined and reforged can be created into powerful weapons and armors. With these beast crystals and their new found magical powers, humanity was able to push the Kaiju back and chase them out of their home, but the humans knew that the kaiju would be back, after waiting several years in vain for the return of the kaiju, the humans finally relaxed on regaining back their territories from the magical beasts, so as to increase their strength and forces as they await the return of the kaiju.

''Hey Raijin, come check this out'', Mu lan shouted.

''I will be right there, just have to finish this note on magic theory, or else teacher ken will not forgive me'',

Rai jin replied as he rushed to finish with his assignments before the teacher enters the class.

After the discovery of magic, humans opened schools that teaches people about magic, helps them to awaken their magic array.

Though not every human has the talent to become a magician, they were all expected to attend a magic school and at the age of 18, they were to undergo their magical awakening, as humanity needed all forces they could gather as the await the return of the kaiju.

The Kaijus are a stubborn and proud race and they would not give up on taking over earth, just because the were unsuccessful on their first trial, they would just go back and gather more powerful forces. Even though the Kaiju were not as numerous as humans, they were all fighters, this gave them a natural advantage over the humans, even a week old Kaiju, could kill a full grown ordinary human with ease.

This magical awakening is done using a stone called the awakening crystal, derived from a special type of beast called the Aramenian beast, from then on they would become a qualified magician.

'' What is the matter this time around? '', Rai jin asked Mu lan.

''Da lu made these new glasses for me'', Mu lan said as he grinned at Rai jin.

''So you called me because you got new glasses? ''

''Wait till you try them on and see what they do'', Mu lan replied with his teeth out in the open.

''Da lu, what new toy have you made for Mu lan that got him grinning like this''

''I didn't, he stole them from me'', Da lu replied.

'' You need to see what great technology Da lu has been making behind our backs, and yet he pretends as if we are the perverts'', Mu lan said to raijin handing him the glasses.

''Kids, get to your seats'', teacher Ken said as he entered the class.

''I will be teaching you about magical beasts today. Magical beasts are of different grades and levels according to how powerful they are. Just as the magic of humans evolve through breakthroughs; from a beginner magician to an Intermediate magician, to an advanced magician, to a beyonder magician, to a super magician, to an emperor magician. Magical beasts also evolve by consuming the beasts crystals of other beasts from the servant level beast, to the warrior level, to the commander level, to the demi-ruler level, to the ruler level and to the emperor level being the strongest.

So far humanity has not managed to kill a single emperor level beast, but rumour has it that to successfully kill an emperor level beast, we would have to send out at least 10 peak emperor level mages'', teacher Ken explained as he paused to look at the expressions of shock on the student's faces.

''Like seriously, they are that strong''

''Oh my, they will probably be gigantic in size, right teacher Ken? '', a student named Yu mi asked.

''No Mi, it is not necessarily compulsory for emperor level beasts to be gigantic in size, the last emperor beast discovered by humans had a physique that looks like that of a female human, but it was emanating an aura strong enough to kill a super magician in an instant'', teacher ken replied.

''Oh, what the fuck!! '', so the powerful super magicians do not stand a chance against an emperor beast'

''So cool''.

teacher ken continued to lecture the students about the different magical beasts that existed in the world.

''Hey Rai jin'', Mu lan whispered.

''Uhh''

'' Try the glasses on and look around''.

"Right now?, you know teacher Ken has been watching me, if he sees me putting on glasses for no reason, i will be in trouble".

"Just try it on and then look at Eun gi, before pressing the little button at the side", Mu lan said as he winked with a mischevious smile on his face.

Da lu just couldn't help it, he started wondering if Rai jin was an idiot, if a friend asked you to put your hand in fire, would you? NO... but there was a fool like Rai jin who would do it as long as it interests him.

"Ok, but if i get suspended, you would have to pay....holy shit!!!, what the fuck?!!! ", Rai jin shouted as he pressed the little button on the side of the glasses while looking at Eun gi.

" Rai jin!!! , what the hell do you think you are doing!, and why are you putting on glasses inside the class", teacher Ken yelled furiously, after Rai jin disturbed the class with his ouburst.

"Ehm ehm sir, i have a wounded eye", Rai jin stammered in reply.

"I clearly saw you now and your eyes looked perfectly fine"

"Sir , maybe you are not seeing well"

What? are you saying i have problem with my eyesight??", teacher ken asked, anger evident on his face that the good for nothing boy in his class dared to abuse him.

" Sir, i never said that, i only said that since i am sitting right here at the back, and you are right at the front of the class, you may not have seen my eyes well"

"What do you think you are saying. I am an advanced level knight, and you are saying my eyesight isn't good enough? ".

"Maybe your good eyesight is on cooldown?"

"....you know what, come here and take off those eye glasses. If your eye is not hurt, know that you are in serious trouble", teacher ken replied as he angrily stamped his feet on the floor.

This action caused the ground under his feet to cave in from the force of the stomp and cracks spread rapidly on the the surface of the floor.

As mages grow more stronger and advance in levels, their bodies grow stronger and tougher, meaning they are able to things that a normal human wouldn't dream of. combined with their powerful spells, this has been the only way humanity has been able to survive onslaught of attacks from their distant enemies- the kaiju and their current enemies the magical beasts that surrounds them.

Mages have outstanding spells that can shake heaven and earth. That does not necessarily mean that they are invisible, magical beasts were in most cases stronger than mages of the same rank, with some even possessing abilities to use elemental magic, due to this reason, a mage will never ever let his or her guard down while fighting a magical beasts as their unpredictable pattern makes them far more dangerous.

But if a mage was to have spells that secured his defence, then he would be a nightmare. as he would be able to face a magical beast of the same level alone!!.

"Wow, did you see that, teacher Ken is so strong, Rai jin that fool is in serious trouble"

"i have always wanted to deal with him, since he beat me up, but he was only able to beat me because i was sick on that day, and now teacher Ken will take my revenge for me", a student named Chan min, one of Lin Kai's lackey and follower, Rai Jin' nemesis in the classroom said.

"Who asked you to be weak to the extent that you couldn't even stand up for yourself when your mate was beating you up", Mu lan retorted back.

"Hey asshole, i wasn't talking to you so keep your dirty ass hole mouth shut!!", Chan min shouted back angrily.

"Hey, you couldn't beat Rai jin in a fight and now you are running your mouth, say any word again and i will ask him to beat you so much that your mother wouldn't recognise you"

"I....i...", Chan min angrily held back his words, he was truly afraid of Rai jin, he didn't dare to say another word.

''Cha min calm down, when you become a magician, you would challenge him to a duel, and beat him black and blue. If not because of Mu lan, will a poor rat like Rai jin dare to stand against you", Lin Kai said to calm him.

"You are right about Rai jin, he is nothing compared to you, not to talk of the boss, And about that ass hole of the Mu is getting too proud these days, when i become a mage, i will make sure to pull his tongue off his mouth", Bai hi another of Lin Kai's Lackey replied.

"Idiot, you see what you got him into, now he is going to get punished. A fool like him would have listened to you, i should have expected it", Da lu said as he face-palmed himself.

"Eh, come on, the glasses were so great. I couldn't wait till the class ended before he tried it out and besides he will not get punished", Mu lan replied confidently.

"What do you mean by he won't get punished. He is going to be fucking suspended!! and you know if he is supsended again, he won't be able to undergo the magic awakening next month, he would have to wait till next year!".

"Calm down and enjoy the show"

"What do you mean, his eye is clearly.....what??...wh...en did he get injured?. He was fine jusy now" Dalu exclaimed, shock evident on his face.

"What??.....your eyes were perfectly fine earlier, when did you.....", teacher Ken asked in shock.

"You know what just go back to your seat and make sure not to cause trouble for me again today" teacher Ken said embarrassed.

"Thank you sir".

As Rai jin was walking back to his seat, he takes a good look at Eun gi. Eun gi was the beauty of the class and also his crush, and now all her curves were on full display to him as he stands in front of her after putting on the glasses.

The eye glasses were able to skip her clothes directly and go to the underwear, he could see her cute pink underwear, slim waist and curvy body clearly, Eun gi noticed him gawking at him and he quickly removes his gaze.

"Huh,why is he staring at me like that" Eun gi wondered.

"He he, Mu lan, this spec is great, Da lu you are a genius, how did you create something like this.

Dont you know how to make it skip all clothes and make it be just the bare body??", Rai jin asked Da lu with expectant eyes.

"You see i told you Rai jin, it was worth the black eye" Mu lan said as he patted Rai jin on the back.

"You just shut up your mouth, you made me punch myself on the face, and destroy my handsome face, i wont forgive you!!!" Rai jin shouted pointing at Mu lan.

"Eh you two, just shut the fuck up, Oh God why did i make friends with two idiots like you , i can't make the glasses view more than that and besides we are done for the day. Everyone is gone, we are the only ones left in the class", Da lu said to the two idiots beside him.

"Oh really, let's go, Rai jin my glasses?"

"Which glasses, this is mine now, for making me punch my handsome face"

"What, i paid for that!" Mu lan yelled angrily.

"Exactly you are rich, just ask him to make you another one"

"Gosh, you thief!!".

The trio walked out of the class and left their school.

The Donghai Magic academy is one of the best magic school in china and Rai jin as a poor lad from a poor family virtually had no hope of enrolling in this school.

But luckily he made friends with Mu lan. Mu lan's family is one of the richest family in china and Mu lan as their only son basically played with money however he wished.

Rai jin family barely have enough to sustain themselves.

His mother warks as a waiter in a Non- magic restaurant and with the little money she earns was only enough to sustain their family, there was no hope of Rai jin attending a Magic school if it wasn't for Mu lan.

Rai jin's younger brother; Rai bin was still young, he was just seven years of age so he still goes to normal human school till he comes of age.
