In a world where your beast defines your bloodline, Leon is the academy’s punchline. While the elite flaunt obsidian dragons and celestial tigers, Leon is shackled to a "feeble" Xenomorph Queen—a low-rank insect that everyone assumes is good for nothing but digging dirt. But they are wrong. Dead wrong. Hidden beneath Leon’s calculated silence is the [Ancient Hive System], a relic of a lost era. It doesn’t just tame; it evolves. By feeding his Queen the marrow of prehistoric fossils and the genes of forgotten predators, Leon transforms a "paltry bug" into a biomechanical nightmare. Armed with the reinforced plating of a Triceratops and the lethal precision of an apex killer, his swarm is growing. While the "geniuses" mock his failing grades, Leon is building an empire in the shadows—a loyal, hive-minded legion that feels no pain, knows no fear, and answers only to him. The elite think they are the hunters. They haven't realized yet that in Leon’s world, they are nothing more than biological raw material for the next evolution. The Hive is hungry. And Leon has just given the order to feed.

POV: Leon

Inside the faculty office of the first-year class at Evergreen Academy, a heavy silence reigned, broken only by Professor Oliver’s agitated breathing. He looked at me with a face full of bewilderment and asked me for the tenth time: Leon, what is this thing you call a Facehugger? And where did you even get that name?

I am Leon, the top-ranked student with an athletic physique that makes everyone turn their heads in the hallways. In this school, every student begins their journey in their first year by summoning their first beast with the academy’s help. Logic dictates that any sane student would choose the strongest available creatures, such as tigers, lions, or grizzly bears.

But I was not like the other students. Despite Professor Oliver’s constant attempts to persuade me to change my mind, I was stubbornly set on choosing the Facehugger. I watched the Professor’s facial expressions twist with bitterness as he looked at my choice form. He thought his star pupil had completely lost his mind.

Professor Oliver said to me in a sad tone: Leon, a person has only one chance in their life to choose their partner beast. I think you should consider this more seriously. Have you fallen victim to some misleading marketing blogs online that praise rare and neglected beasts?

Then he picked up an eraser and pressed it firmly down on an ant that was passing across his desk, crushing it in a single moment. He continued: I have seen many genius students ruin their lives because of a wrong beast choice. Are you still insisting on that pathetic insect?

In his eyes, my choice was a guaranteed disaster. He thought that if I chose a normal beast under his guidance, I could enter the most prestigious universities in the country. I thought about his words for a few seconds, saw the sincerity in his eyes, and said to him: You are right, Professor.

Professor Oliver felt relieved for a moment, thinking I had backed down, but I raised my head and said with absolute seriousness: Nevertheless, I still want to choose the Facehugger.

The truth is, I am not from this world. I transmigrated here half a month ago and realized that this reality is built on beast taming. The stronger your beast, the stronger your physical body becomes; in fact, you can turn a common beast into a deity if you are skilled enough. As for my choice, the Facehugger—it is not from this world either. It is an extraterrestrial creature from a movie I saw in my past life, a creature that evolves by parasitizing the host’s genes to give birth to even more terrifying generations.

Bones as hard as steel, corrosive acidic blood, and the ability to integrate genes. If I could integrate the genes of the beasts in this world, what would I create in the end? Professor Oliver could not even imagine it.

The Professor finally gave up and handed me three cards, saying: Take them; this is the starter pack. You have one week before the mock exam. If you change your mind, call me immediately. I snatched the cards from his hand and began examining them coldly: a cafeteria card with a balance of two hundred and fifty, a beast card, and a resource card.

I stepped out of the office to find a long line of students. As soon as they saw me, whispers began to spread like wildfire. Everyone had been eavesdropping on my conversation with the Professor. Leon the genius chose a bug!

I heard someone mock: I bet twenty coins he gets crushed in the next exam. I smirked to myself and kept walking. The weak need a lot of talk, but the strong need to prove nothing right now.

I returned to my luxurious private room, stood before the massive window, and said: Digital Assistant, close the curtains and turn on all the lights. It is time to work. I sat on the sofa, pulled out the beast card, and thought: Let the awakening begin, and let the seals be broken.

A blue system interface appeared and began asking me to agree to long, boring terms and conditions. I clicked the agreement button without reading, then scanned my face and finger. Suddenly, I felt a sharp dizziness and transmigrated to a vast taming space—a sprawling emerald-green grassland.

The system asked if I wanted to change the environment since I had VIP features, but I refused. A Xenomorph is a cosmic being that can live in the harshest conditions; this green grassland would be a good place to start.

I closed my eyes and visualized every detail of the Xenomorph I had memorized from my past life. To these students, a beast is a tool, but to me, the Xenomorph is the most perfect organism in existence.

I said in a confident tone: Begin extraction now. I was eagerly waiting for my first creature to emerge in this

new world.
