In a world where your beast defines your bloodline, Leon is the academy’s punchline. While the elite flaunt obsidian dragons and celestial tigers, Leon is shackled to a "feeble" Xenomorph Queen—a low-rank insect that everyone assumes is good for nothing but digging dirt. But they are wrong. Dead wrong. Hidden beneath Leon’s calculated silence is the [Ancient Hive System], a relic of a lost era. It doesn’t just tame; it evolves. By feeding his Queen the marrow of prehistoric fossils and the genes of forgotten predators, Leon transforms a "paltry bug" into a biomechanical nightmare. Armed with the reinforced plating of a Triceratops and the lethal precision of an apex killer, his swarm is growing. While the "geniuses" mock his failing grades, Leon is building an empire in the shadows—a loyal, hive-minded legion that feels no pain, knows no fear, and answers only to him. The elite think they are the hunters. They haven't realized yet that in Leon’s world, they are nothing more than biological raw material for the next evolution. The Hive is hungry. And Leon has just given the order to feed.

Inside the faculty office of the first-year class at Evergreen Academy, a heavy silence reigned, broken only by Professor Oliver’s agitated breathing. He looked at me with a face full of bewilderment and asked me for the tenth time: Leon, what is this thing you call a Facehugger? And where did you even get that name?I am Leon, the top-ranked student with an athletic physique that makes everyone turn their heads in the hallways. In this school, every student begins their journey in their first year by summoning their first beast with the academy’s help. Logic dictates that any sane student would choose the strongest available creatures, such as tigers, lions, or grizzly bears. But I was not like the other students. Despite Professor Oliver’s constant attempts to persuade me to change my mind, I was stubbornly set on choosing the Facehugger. I watched the Professor’s facial expressions twist with bitterness as he looked at my choice form. He thought his star pupil had completely lost hi

I said in a confident voice: Begin the nurturing. An electronic voice replied: Received. Analyzing the beast information in the host’s mind—the Evergreen Academy faculty and student smart AI system is at your service.I felt a bit embarrassed by the long, official title, so I said: From now on, you can just call yourself Jarvis. The voice replied: Very well—Jarvis is at your service.I pulled out the resource card that Professor Oliver had given me. In this world, different beasts require different living spaces and different types of food. Cows eat grass, tigers eat meat, bees gather nectar, and dogs eat waste. Every creature has its preferred food type.I asked Jarvis: Can you produce food on a one-to-one basis based on my physical data?Although Facehuggers can parasitize common animals like cows or horses without any issue, I believed in an old principle: if a talented one isn't fed well, their true strength won't manifest. Facehuggers possess the unique ability to parasitize; how

.As the creature fed, its body began to swell at a terrifying speed. In less than an hour, its original size of under a meter exploded to nearly two meters. Coupled with its jet-black, metallic exoskeleton, it looked utterly bone-chilling. I felt that if I had encountered such a thing in my previous world, I would have died of fright on the spot. The transformation wasn't just in size; the Xenomorph’s head lost its original luster, the dorsal tubes became thick and powerful, and its pincer-like claws gradually grew into opposable fingers, much like a human's. Due to the unique traits of its species, and because there were no other Xenomorphs in this space, it began to evolve once more.During the feeding process, the male genes within it faded as the female genes took dominance, slowly transforming it into a Queen."A Xenomorph Queen?" I muttered, stunned. I had thought I would need to keep breeding new Facehuggers to build an army, but it turns out this species has an innate way of e

Without hesitation, I drew my beast card and pointed it at Mark like a sharp blade leaving its sheath."So... so handsome! I can't take it!" someone in the crowd swooned. Even though they scoffed at my decision, they had to admit my charisma was undeniable. A drop of cold sweat slid down Mark's forehead. "As expected of the top ten," he thought privately, "the pressure he exerts before even making a move is insane.""What’s wrong, Mark? Aren't you going to strike?" I shouted. My ordinary words sounded like a lion's roar in his ears."There is one thing I must clarify first," Mark said, bolstering his courage. "The one I’m going to defeat isn't just you, Leon! The entire top ten of Evergreen Academy will be my stepping stones! You just happen to be the one I ran into first because I was hungry. If it were Sophia or Alexander, I would have challenged them just the same!"I was getting impatient. What is he babbling about? If you want to fight, then fight. Enough talk. Though, he seemed t

The silence that followed that hiss was more terrifying than the hiss itself. I stood my ground, calm as a still lake, while Mark trembled across from me in his lavish territory. The shaking of the earth wasn't just a tremor; it was an announcement of the arrival of something that did not belong to the order of this world. I looked at the entrance of the dark cave my Queen had carved, and a flicker of pride ignited in my chest. I had created a biological masterpiece beyond human comprehension.Just as Mark was lost in his daze, a massive black silhouette erupted from the ground, lunging upward. The gargantuan creature stood before him, blotting out the sun. Mark stared up blankly, his jaw nearly hitting the floor in sheer disbelief. His beast, the Triceratops, was whimpering in terror, a strange yellow fluid soaking the ground beneath it."What... what is this? Where have I been taken? Is this still Earth?!" Mark’s pupils dilated, and his entire face froze in a mask of horror. In fact,

A deathly silence hung over the entrance of the cafeteria. The beast card that represented the glory of an Ancient Species now lay face down on the cold ground. The image of the Triceratops on the card was dim and lifeless, as if all its vitality had been drained away. Mark, the "invincible" student who had been so full of spirit just moments ago, was now slumped on the ground like a pile of mud, his eyes vacant, muttering something incoherent that no one could catch."He lost... he actually lost?""My god, Mark’s Ancient Species was slaughtered in seconds. Who exactly is this Leon?""That Facehugger... could it be something even more powerful than an Ancient Species? I've never heard of it!"The whispers were like a suppressed volcano, erupting with even greater force after the brief silence. Countless emotions—doubt, awe, fear—all converged on me. I had become the absolute focal point of the school. However, I felt like an outsider to all of it. I didn't even give the collapsed Mark

The tips of my chopsticks hung in mid-air. A drop of oil slid down the edge of the braised pork, dripping onto the white rice and blooming into a small grease stain. I didn’t respond immediately. My brain was working at high speed, analyzing the guy across from me—Lucas—from head to toe. Thin, harmless-looking, wearing glasses thick enough to stop a bullet, he radiated the aura of a total nerd who only cared about books.Yet, this very person had just uttered a sentence that could ruin me."Not a creature of our world."The sentence was like a precision scalpel, slicing through all my disguises. I slowly placed the piece of pork back on my tray, my voice flat and devoid of emotion. I decided to play dumb. Until I knew his background, it was the best choice. "What is this 'Facehugger' you're talking about? And what world are you referring to?"Lucas pushed up his glasses. The lenses reflected the cafeteria’s overhead lights, masking his expression. "Stop pretending. It’s meaningless," h

"Library, 3rd Floor, Zone C." These words were branded into my brain like a searing iron mark. To go, or not to go? To go meant admitting I was a fool who couldn’t understand a textbook and was forced to seek help from a mysterious stranger. Not to go meant waiting for expulsion and being kicked out of this city like a dog.I closed my phone and shoved it into my pocket. I stood up under the pitying or mocking gazes of my classmates and walked straight out of the classroom. But I didn't go to the library immediately. I needed an absolutely quiet place—a place that belonged only to me.I headed to the school’s back mountain, an abandoned old training ground. The weeds there grew taller than a man, and the rusted equipment lay scattered like the skeletons of prehistoric beasts. This was the perfect hiding spot. I found a relatively clean rock, sat down, and closed my eyes.My consciousness receded like a tide, swallowed by endless darkness. In the next heartbeat, I appeared in a complete

The roar of the crowd in the martial assessment arena was deafening. I stood in the preparation area, watching the names leap across the massive electronic screen until the result locked in: Leon vs. Marcus.Whispers erupted around me like crashing waves. I heard someone sneer, "Marcus? The owner of the 'Human Tank'? His Iron Rhino is a rare Elite species; word is his father spent seven figures just for the egg." Another replied with a chuckle, "And who is this Leon? Isn't he the failure who always bombs the theory exams? I heard his beast is just a common worker ant queen or something."I ignored the contemptuous glares hitting the fence of the prep area. Marcus wasn't just an opponent; he represented everything I hated about this system—power bought with money and hollow arrogance. Marcus walked toward me with heavy steps, a condescending smile of fake pity plastered on his face."Leon?" Marcus said loudly enough for everyone to hear. "A word of advice from a classmate: withdraw now

I walked down from the high platform, ignoring all the chatter surrounding me. The voices were like a swarm of annoying summer cicadas, unable to penetrate my world. In my world, there was only the objective and the precise steps required to achieve it. I was calculating in my mind the energy the First Progeny had consumed in that single strike, and how much time it would need to repair its tissues before the next encounter."Hey!"A rough, massive voice blocked my path, like a solid wall cutting off the corridor exit. The owner was huge, his bulging muscles nearly tearing through the tight school uniform. His bare arms were covered in old scars—medals from countless battles fought by this man.It was Cassius, known as the "Berserker."Cassius was one of the top ten monsters in the higher grades, and his beast was the "Berserk Bear," renowned for its ferocity and immense destructive power. As soon as he appeared, the noise of the students around us dropped by several decibels. If Marcu
