After the coronation was completed, Ethan wasted no time.

He immediately prepared to leave the chamber to save Magnus.

But before stepping out of the sacred circle, his eyes narrowed in suspicion as he came face to face with The Guardian.

"What’s your name?” he asked directly.

The Guardian’s expression remained calm. “Theo Endrick, my lord," he replied simply with a small nod.

Even though every fiber in Ethan’s being screamed not to trust this mysterious man who claimed to be The Guardian, when he explained that Magnus could be saved once Ethan was properly coronated as the King of the World—that the ritual would unlock Ethan’s full power and give him the ability to heal even the most fatal conditions—Ethan couldn't hesitate. His desperation to save Magnus overrode all his suspicions.“Fine,” Ethan said firmly, looking directly into The Guardian’s eyes. "If there’s even the smallest chance this could save him, I’ll do it. What do we need?”The Guardian’s expression remained calm. “Time is crucial. We need to prepare immediately. What does that mean?”“I thought the surgery was successful…”“This can’t be happening…”“Poor Magnus…”Lara’s voice cut through the murmurs. “Doctor, what do you mean by critical condition?”The doctor shifted uncomfortably, his eyes darting between the faces staring at him. He cleared his throat, clearly struggling with how much to reveal. “Well, you see…”“Spit it out!” Ethan’s voice exploded through the corridor, his patience completely shattered. "Stop beating around the bush and tell us what’s wrong with him!”The doctor took a deep breath. “Mr. Aurelius came in with severe internal bleeding from multiple impact inj
