CHAPTER 39
Chris was confused. What was the crazy lady in the driver's seat ranting on about? What business did he have with his uncle, The Black Spider?

"I'm not the one you're looking for!" Chris tried as she sped on.

She ignored him, however, as she dodged the many cars that were on the road.

"Please slow down," Chris pleaded. "If we die, then none of us achieves anything."

"Who said?" She asked, a wry smile forming across her features.

She hit the gas just then and if not for the belt that strapped him firmly to his seat, Chris would have flown out of the car through the windscreen due to the speed at which she went.

"Please!" He cried. "You're moving too fast."

"You had to call your uncle, didn't you?" Sarah sneered. "Now, I have to lure him down to my base."

"I didn't call anyone," Chris cried. "I can swear that I didn't. My hands had been strapped firmly all this while. I couldn't even hold my phone."

"Liar!" She said through gritted teeth. "You're lying and I know it."
