Zed eyed the creepy girl by his side with confusion his facial expression warped into a strange questioning look while the small woman kept smiling “why in the worlds have you been just following me around then?”
The doll like girl giggled and tapped his nose, her matching crimson eyes staring into his own, “I thought it would be interesting” he eyed her suspiciously after her response, he was more inclined to believe she had never done this before and thus just ended up being awkward. ‘I feel sorry for her’.
He sighed and shook his head, he didn’t even know what to say While Demiurge Just reminded silent, which he found rather strange, he had never known the fiend to be silent this long turning his head back to his friend he raised an eyebrow and asked. “What are you so quiet for?”
The chimera like man tugged at his collar, recalling his first interaction with the pretty little doll that had awarded him quite a few broken bones, he looked back and forth between the two with suspicion before giving up and crossing his arms over his chest.
“Okay, so, what am I supposed to be doing right now?”
“well, you’re supposed to go through orientation and be assigned a supervisor”
Zed raised an eyebrow “Supervisor?” The little doll girl nodded
“there’s this whole thing where you’re told about our great cause and all that”.
The more she spoke the harder it was for him to keep a straight face, so it wasn’t that he was just given excessive resting time, she just didn’t do her jib at all, biting his lower lip and sucking in air from his nostrils he exhaled and asked mildly irritated.
“Who is my supervisor then? I assume its not you” Mercury shook her head slowly and started to rummage about in her dress pockets, not that he expected them to have any pockets to begin with “You see I don’t think you will like him very much”
She pulled out a small silver playing card with the image of a jester and held it up to his face, Zed flinched at the sight of the card, taking some steps back, a chill running up his spine and his hands trembled slightly.
“That’s an improvement I suppose” she closed her eyes and just sighed “I don’t know why he’s like this” The card flashed, an arm stretched out of the card and grasped the boys arm, his body shook as the boys eyes practically rolled into the back of his skull and his hair stood on end.
Space around them seemed to warp, pressure building up and threatening to crush them, or at least it threated Demiurge, who quickly lay down on the ground and curled himself up, resisting gravity whilst being the larger target wasn’t wise.
The pretty doll like girl didn’t seem bothered by the change in gravitational pressure that was coming off the boys body, The hand let him go and back handed the boy in the face, the aura and pressure vanishing in an instant.
The hand wriggled and lashed our grasping the entirety of the boys face in its palms and rapidly retreated into the card.
“L... Let me go!!” The boy attempted to resist pulling himself back against the arms strength, Zed didn’t even have time to marvel at his newfound powers much less understand why he could use them.
He flew back pulling himself away with all the strength he could muster but the arm was like an iron tether. The arm twitched and strained the cards entrance stretched until it was like a door leading into a lightless abyss.
“Help!!” He struggled, the crimson in his eyes having returned as he struggled “Help me!”
Demiurge had a rather uncomfortable expression on his face as he watched the boy get pulled into the card, which crumbled into dust the moment all of the boys body had gone through the portal with demiurge slowly rising to his feet.
“It’s quite unfortunate that such a good-looking fellow has the habit of scaring others” She patted down her dress and looked up at Demiurge,The draconic chimera looking man suddenly felt his joints grow stiff and his muscles strain as his body suddenly lowered itself.
“This is much better” She said now as Demiurge had lowered his entire body to her height and was now looking her in the eye. “My neck hurts”.
The little doll like human stepped past him and flicked her wrist, Demiurge’s body tensed, a throbbing vein could be seen on his forehead. “Alright little beasty, come with me” The man groaned but obediently rose to his feet and followed behind her.
The little doll was quite famous for her habit of taking control of people and moving them around, there were quite a few people who enjoyed this and there were those who felt genuine fear from not being in control of their actions.
The man she had just apprehended was a mix between the two, on one hand he found this quite entertaining and on another side of the spectrum she could make him snap his neck, though that seemed to excite him as well “I must have been in that lab for too long”, he said with a sigh.
“Oh? You can still speak?” She asked to which Demiurge just moved his eyes in her direction, his mouth twitching in an attempt to smirk, but the lady just frowned.
“You’re either a big pervert or very stubborn man”.
“Let’s think positively”. His arms twitched, attempting to move so he could gesticulate as he spoke but found his efforts futile there weren’t many who would resist this strange ability of hers, being able to speak when completely caught was quite the feat.
Demiurges smile eventually reached his face thinking on how being harassed like this was better than being sliced open on a table by researchers, pulled from his revere by the girl giving him a disgusted look “You’re definitely a pervert”.
She released her hold on him and he immediately started to stretch and massage his joints “Thought you said you don’t like to walk alone?”
“I changed my mind, walking with you seems worse” Demiurge gave a slight bow with his palm to his chest as he exhaled.
“I’m glad you think so” He quickly started to walk off before she changed her mind about letting him go, he wasn’t willing to test how durable he was today.
Inside the card the boy looked around and could only see white space around him, he was expecting something like what happened in the dream to appear but this was something he didn’t expect
“I do wonder what you saw that’s got you like this” An echoing voice seemed to be coming from all directions as the white-haired boy frantically tried to guess its source.
He tried to stand up only to feel dizzy almost like the sky and ground had inverted, he could feel the nausea building in his throat as he gagged.
He looked up to see a man in a trench coat who seemed to be squatting on one of the walls, he felt both right next to him but far away, the perspective was starting to hurt more than just his eyes.
“Tell me kid, what’s got you so scared?”

Training from hell
The boy was gradually adjusting to his new field of view, after taking a deep breath and calming himself he slowly rose to his feet. It felt like he was on a boat, he could feel himself tilting to one side but never truly tipping over, the ground was obviously solid but felt like he was standing on pillows “You’re adjusting quite well” The man nodded and rose to his feet and took a step forward walking towards the level ground and was now standing upright like he was. ‘This is quite disorienting’ He thought as he had some what overcome his initial fear of the man or at least he had hoped so. He looked up the sky seemed to extend forever, with no clouds, no sun, just endless white, the place was brightly lit so he couldn’t help but wonder where the light was coming from “what is this place?” Zed had momentarily closed his eyes trying his best to steady himself , the memories of had rampage had left him with a lot of lingering pain. The man with the trench coat chuckled flicking

Pretty Little Doll
They sat him down with some of the nurses bringing in his food, he gradually shook himself free of the influence of his fear while also feeling a little ashamed of himself for his previous outburst.“Are you okay?” The asked after seeing him sigh, they had never dealt with something like that before and as such where a little lost as to how to handle it, waiting until he calmed himself down before asking, faces full of concern. “I’m fine,” he waved them off and took a second look around him “where are we anyway?” The two looked at each other awkwardly and tried their best to tell him what they knew, it hadn’t been long since they had gotten there themselves so they didn’t know much. Zed quietly listened to the two and found himself astonished by how stupid sentient races could be, with the abyss beasts destroying ships and obliterating people’s sanity, somehow the ability to experiment on the less fortunate never eluded them.“Hmm, well at least, we won’t be test subjects anymor
Grand jester
He opened his eyes in Darkness, unyielding darkness and silence, his body was sore, his entire mind was aflame with pain although he bore no visible wounds. He couldn’t help but sigh in relief however as such pain at least meant that he was alive. While he relaxed himself the darkness stirred, something massive was moving, it made a loud dragging sound that echoed in the endless expanse of darkness, it drew closer to him until the sound was just beside his ears, laughter came next, reverberating, loud and chilling laughter.Through the darkness a large face was outlined like it was pressing against something, stretching the space around it as it pushed against the darkness until it tore apart like paper. A clown’s face had emerged the bells on its head jiggling. It tilted its head from side to side and observed him in silence before pressing more of its body through the darkness, it contorted and squeezed until all of its body fit through the gap its face had created, the clown st
Overload
The facility was crumbling faster and faster with each passing second under the crushing might of the boys black hole sphere anything that couldn’t withstand the strain reduced to atoms in his presence, luckily his companions where doing well. Sona, didn’t get any actual boots in combat ability as her own power had to do with the restriction of the abilities of others, this would be fairly dangerous in most situations, perhaps make for a star law enforcer in the federation, if abilities where still scarce that is. She quickly learned however that it did nothing to racial traits, which may seem like abilities and had almost no effect on transformation-based abilities. The era of abilities and many ways to be supernatural her abilities where strangely limited . In this situation however it had spared them from being crushed under the might of their friend and get as far away as possible, “Should we help him?”. Demiurge asked after knocking down an enforcer with his partially transf
Wrong
The place had no sky only a grey metallic ceiling, their rooms which existed more like cells had no lights, they had only a singular opening allowing them to gaze outside at their captors or perhaps at the distant cell. The sounds of foot falls had brought many to the narrow windows of their cells to catch a glimpse of what would be happening today, they gazed upon a pale skinned boy with white hair, his hair was cut low and his ruby eyes were lifeless. The boys face lacked any discernible expression, if anything he simply looked empty, hollow even, his hands hung limply in front of him bound by his shackles, the faceless enforcers and researcher leading him to his new residence. “Subject 256, this is your new facility”. The woman with red skin and obsidian horns adjusted her frames and looked at her holo-deck, no one actually needed glasses these days, it was mostly just an accessory. The boy looked up at her and slowly nodded. The shackles came apart with a click and he trudged
