Young Master Brata stared at Fang Zhe for a few seconds. His gaze was filled with mixed emotions—anger, humiliation, and a fear he refused to admit.

The corridor felt extremely silent. Even the strained breathing of his injured guards could be heard clearly.

He also understood one thing very well.

If the young man in front of him truly wanted to cause trouble… the situation here could become far worse.

Brata clenched his jaw.

His eyes briefly glanced at Erina, who stood calmly beside Fang Zhe. The woman showed no sign of panic. On the contrary… she appeared completely composed.

As if everything was already under her control.

That only made Brata more irritated.

But his reason was still intact. He took a deep breath, then forced a faint smile that was clearly stiff.

“Of course.”

His voice sounded heavy.

“A guest is still a guest.”

He stepped half a step back from the doorway.

“Please, go ahead.”

Erina did not move immediately. She simply looked at Brata for a moment with an unreadable expression.

Then she gave a slight nod.

“Thank you, Young Master Brata.”

Her tone was polite, but there was no warmth in it.

Then she turned slightly toward Fang Zhe.

“Let’s go.”

“Yes, Boss.”

Fang Zhe replied briefly.

He didn’t even glance again at the three men still lying on the floor. With calm steps, he followed Erina toward the end of the corridor.

Their footsteps echoed softly against the marble floor.

Young Master Brata remained standing at the doorway. His eyes followed Fang Zhe’s back as it grew more distant. For some reason, an uneasy feeling crept into his chest.

As if he had just provoked someone he should never have crossed.

A few seconds later—

THE ELEVATOR DOORS OPENED.

Erina and Fang Zhe stepped inside.

The elevator doors slowly closed, and the corridor returned to silence.

The moment the doors shut completely, Young Master Brata’s expression changed. The fake smile disappeared, replaced by a cold and dark look.

“Damn it…”

He looked at his guards lying on the floor.

“The three of you couldn’t even hold back one person?”

The man with the dislocated shoulder lowered his head, enduring the pain.

“Sir… that man… he’s not ordinary…”

Brata didn’t respond.

His gaze shifted sharply back toward the elevator.

That young man—Fang Zhe.

The name echoed in his mind. He had never heard it before. But someone like that could not have appeared out of nowhere.

Impossible.

Brata suddenly turned and walked back into the VIP room. As soon as the door closed, he pulled out his phone.

He quickly dialed a number. It didn’t take long before the call connected.

An old man’s voice came from the other end.

“Yes, Young Master?”

Brata spoke in a cold tone.

“I need information on someone.”

“Who?”

Brata paused for a moment. He recalled the young man’s calm face. The way he stood. The way he fought. Everything felt too… trained.

“There’s a man named Fang Zhe.”

He walked toward the large window while speaking.

“I want everything you can find. Background. Occupation. Connections. Everything about Fang Zhe.”

The voice on the other end hesitated slightly.

“Is he important?”

Brata looked out at the city beyond the window. The night lights were beginning to glow in the distance. His eyes narrowed slowly.

“If someone like that is standing beside Erina…”

His voice dropped lower.

“Then he is very important.”

He lowered the phone from his ear. But before ending the call, he added one last sentence.

“Use all the Brata family’s network. Find out who Fang Zhe really is.”

The call ended.

Brata stood still for a few seconds, then looked back toward the corridor where Fang Zhe had stood earlier.

His expression turned cold.

“Fang Zhe…”

he muttered softly.

“Who exactly are you…?”

---

The elevator descended smoothly.

The soft hum of the machine filled the confined space. The white lights reflected off the metal walls, casting clear shadows of Erina and Fang Zhe.

For a few seconds, neither spoke.

Erina stood with her arms crossed. Her eyes occasionally glanced at Fang Zhe, who stood beside her in a relaxed manner.

His suit was still neat.

There wasn’t a single trace of a fight on him. That made the corner of Erina’s lips lift slightly.

“Fang Zhe.”

“Yes, Boss.”

“How long have you trained to fight like that?”

The question was asked casually, but clearly carried curiosity.

Fang Zhe thought for a moment before answering.

“A long time.”

That short answer made Erina let out a soft sigh.

“You’re not lying, are you?”

She turned to look directly at his face. But Fang Zhe only gave a faint smile.

The elevator finally stopped.

DING!

When the doors opened—

They stepped out into the spacious hotel lobby. Crystal chandeliers hung magnificently from the ceiling, while guests moved about.

But as Erina walked through the lobby, many people subconsciously turned their heads.

Not only because of her beauty—

but also because of the cold, elegant aura she carried.

Fang Zhe followed half a step behind her like the perfect bodyguard.

When they reached the hotel entrance, the night breeze greeted them.

Erina’s black car was already waiting in front.

The driver immediately opened the rear door respectfully.

But before getting in, Erina suddenly stopped.

She turned to Fang Zhe.

“Have you had dinner?”

Fang Zhe paused slightly.

“Not yet.”

Erina nodded.

“Neither have I.”

Then she said casually,

“Keep me company for dinner.”

Fang Zhe raised an eyebrow slightly.

“As your bodyguard?”

Erina smiled faintly.

“As someone who just improved my mood.”

She opened the car door and got in.

Fang Zhe could only shake his head lightly before following.

The black car slowly left the hotel grounds and headed toward the city center.

*

Twenty minutes later.

The car stopped in front of a well-known rooftop restaurant in the city.

The city lights looked beautiful from above. Erina sat at a table near the glass balcony. Several dishes were already served before them.

Steak, salad, and a glass of red wine in front of Erina.

Fang Zhe had ordered something simple.

Erina cut a piece of her steak before speaking.

“You know something?”

Fang Zhe looked at her.

“What is it, Boss?”

Erina smiled faintly.

“Usually, men who try to get close to me are very annoying.”

Fang Zhe didn’t respond. He simply waited.

“They’re too noisy. Too confident. Too desperate for attention.”

She looked straight at Fang Zhe.

“But you’re different.”

Fang Zhe swallowed a bite of his food.

“Is that a good thing?”

Erina shrugged.

“Maybe.”

Her eyes remained fixed on him.

“At the very least… you’re interesting.”

Fang Zhe showed no reaction.

But at that moment—

SUDDENLY.

A mechanical sound echoed in his mind.

DING!

A transparent panel appeared before his eyes.

*

Fang Zhe froze for a moment.

The system panel displayed new text.

‘C-can I actually see someone’s interest in me?!’ Fang Zhe exclaimed in shock inwardly.

A few seconds later...The figure emerging from behind the grand doors was not Han Mujun. Instead, it was a well-built man in a deep blue robe that billowed wildly in the fierce wind generated by his own surging Qi. His eyes locked instantly onto the row of his family members frozen like street decorations, before shifting toward Fang Zhe, who stood calmly in their midst."So, you are the brat named Fang Zhe?" Han Wuyu’s voice was deep and raspy, carrying a heavy pressure that made Siska’s chest tighten inside the car. The domain of the Han Family was not just a mere residential complex; it was an exclusive district enclosed by five-meter-high concrete walls topped with electrified barbed wire.In the distance, the main building of the Han residence stood tall, resembling a medieval fortress blended with modern architecture. The four-meter-high iron gates groaned and shuddered violently—not from a physical touch, but from a concussive wave of air pressure exploding from Fang Zhe’s body. The guards, who had been howling with laughter just moments ago, froze instantly. Fang Zhe narrowed his eyes as he listened to the system’s new mission. 50,000 points. That amount was enough to purchase any technique he could dream of for Aunt Mei and Dr. Irma—perhaps even enough to buy a whole continent if the system was in a generous mood."Sky Luck Pavilion, huh? You don't need to remind me; I remember it well," Fang Zhe muttered coldly. He stood up, flicking his black robe which now radiated a faint crimson aura—an effect of the God’s Blood that had just fused with his meridians. Without wasting time, he pulled out his phone and dialed Siska’s number."Siska, pick me up at the inter-provincial road coordinates, right at the edge of the Ancient Mountain forest. Siska stepped out of the driver's seat, bowing respectfully as she saw Fang Zhe walking out from the dense forest."Mast

Han Mujun and the members of the great family suddenly froze in their tracks. The air in the cave, which had begun to cool, instantly turned oppressive once more. Fang Zhe’s Qi pressure, now far denser after absorbing the blood pond, locked every one of their joints in place."What do you mean, boy?" Han Mujun turned with great effort, his wrinkled face drenched in cold sweat. "You’ve already destroyed my hand, seized the Blood Pond, and shamed my name. What more do you want?!"Fang Zhe walked casually, stepping over puddles of ice and blood, before leaning against the now-cracked cave wall."It’s simple," Fang Zhe said, idly tapping his fingers. "You all entered this place with the intent to kill me, ruined the view while I was working, and forced me to pay a very expensive system 'admin' fee. Do you really think I’d let you leave with your wallets still full?"He then pointed to the floor in front of him."Lay all your valuables right there. Your ATM cards along with their PINs, fam
